Easy system to use

Easy system to use, was able to have a widely dispersed team easily included to send their best wishes to the recipients. There was also great support when I needed it. The receiver's of their eCard's were very grateful. Thank you GroupTogether!

GroupTogether is top notch!

I found GroupTogether when they were free. They were amazing then and the product is still necessary for global companies who have teams wanting to celebrate a colleague who's not in their same country.

Hi Ali & Julie, thanks so much! I really do appreciate the product and have used it a few times now 😊

I went with 4 stars as I kept running into a few challenges, mainly around the CSV upload limit and the delay in sending, which meant I had to follow up manually in the end. That said, I still think it’s a great tool and will continue using it for global teams until something more fluid is discovered.

Very disappointed at everything that…

Very disappointed at everything that went wrong with my last order. The card was a farewell note for a colleague, scheduled to be sent at a specific time so they'd be able to receive it in their inbox before going on an extended leave.

Not only did GroupTogether's system fail to send the card at the scheduled time, it failed to alert or notify me about the failure at all.

When I realized the card was never sent and contacted support, they first blamed a "firewall issue" on the recipient's side, telling me that the card was undeliverable. This turned out to be false. Just minutes blaming the "firewall", they were finally able to send the card through after all - at which point it was far too late.

Very easy and convenient to follow

Very easy and convenient to follow. Would have rated 5 stars; but the instructions stated that it would take 4 hours to process the card, when in fact it happened straight away. I had wanted it to be a surprise and have it sent just before a surprise meeting.

Very easy process and lots of help available

It was a very easy process creating a group farewell card that people could sign and contribute to if they wanted. The website had lots of information and step-by-step guides on everything which was really helpful!

Ive used group together a few times and…

Ive used group together a few times and overall the experience os positive. However, if someone doesnt know, (like me) when you go to withdraw or purchase the funds, there is a waiting period of about 3 hours. Then they send you an email saying its ready to withdraw, then based on your bank account you may be waiting another 24 hours. Plus theres a fee at the end! That you dont read about until after.. unless you're one of those people that reads the fine print and most people dont.. like me... so yeh.. its great but there are hidden things for those that are not savvy!

Great Way to Show Appreciation

I still haven’t received the funds owing two weeks after the collection closed

I did a collection for a going away gift that closed two weeks ago. I opted for the cash withdrawal (less commission) option so that I could buy a personalised gift. The deposit was supposed to be transferred to my account within 3 days. To date it has not been received. Each time I reach out to them, I speak to a different person who keeps saying I must have entered my bank details incorrectly. I didn’t. Then they say they made the transfer so their side is complete. I’m beginning to think that I’m out of pocket $790 because in the end I still had to buy a gift using my own money - even if they hadn’t transferred the cash to me. I would avoid using this website. I have also raised the issue with consumer affairs.

I completely understand how frustrating this situation must be.

As you've confirmed that the details entered were correct, the funds should be reflecting in your account. Unfortunately, this is where it becomes out of our hands, because it's your personal account, the bank is only able to share information directly with you, and there is nothing further we are able to do on our end.

We have provided you with the receipt as proof that the payment was sent to the BSB and account number that was entered. Since it shows as completed on our side (not pending), the next step would be to contact your bank again and ask them to look into it, I'd recommend escalating it to a supervisor, as they should be able to trace the funds using the receipt details we've provided.

One thing also worth checking, there have been occasions where the funds have actually landed in a different account, such as a savings account, rather than the intended one. It may be worth asking your bank to check across all of your accounts, just in case!

If we were able to contact the bank and get that information for you, we absolutely would, but because it's your account, they simply won't release any details to us. They will, however, be able to give you a full picture.

Again, I'm so sorry for this inconvenience. We've done everything we can on our end and truly wish we could do more!

Last thought - we're reaching out to you to send us a copy of a bank printed/digital record of the bsb and ac number so we can try to help.
