I loved Grove and the convenience

I loved Grove and the convenience. I unfortunately had to stop my monthly shipment due to job loss and having a very strict budget at the moment. I will join once again when the time is right. All products ever received were amazing quality.

They will send out products previously…

They will send out products previously ordered even after you’ve unsubscribed and they cannot cancel an order or refund it. It’s very scammy feeling.

Grove Collaborative provides home and personal care products for eco-conscious homes on a monthly schedule by default, but the frequency of your shipments is completely customizable and there is no requirement to order every month. You can edit the items in your order via your cart or your Product Subscriptions. Product subscriptions are separate from your cart, and allow you to automatically add items to your monthly shipments so you don't forget them. This feature is especially helpful for items like bathroom tissue, hand soap, and laundry detergent! However, we understand that this doesn't work for everyone, so you can edit or remove these subscriptions on the subscription page here. We apologize if this feature of our site was not made clear and for any frustration, this may have caused! We try our best to explain our service options during sign up and will continue to improve upon this using thoughts and suggestions from valuable community members like yourself! The hand soup as well as the dish soap…

The hand soup as well as the dish soap seemed watered down. No lather. The toilet paper was OK, the roll was firm and did it's job. The tissues how ever were super thick, not soft. Close to tissue paper you wrap with. The room spray smelled lovely. But did nothing to get rid of odors. For the prices I wasn't impressed with the items I ordered.
Also, I found that when I place my first order I was automatically signed up in a VIP program and It is NOT easy to cancel their VIP program. I canceled once when they sent me an email saying they were renewing. But found out later that was not what I was doing. In fact I was canceling an order that GROVE was sending me that they had chosen and I had not even ordered. I received no confirmation to that cancelation. Then I saw a charge of 19.99 for a VIP membership which I never joined (knowingly). I went onto the site and after 30 mins hunting a way to cancel this I hopefully found it. Again NO email confirmation. I am very disappointed with the company and what seems to be very sneaky practices. 😕

I love Grove

I love Grove! The convenience of home delivery of environmentally safe, low or no plastic products cannot be beat. The variety of items that can be purchased is very impressive. The prices are very reasonable and in line with the "regular" stores and i LOVE the notes that come on each shipping box. I highly recommend giving Grove a try.

Environmentally Conscious but Terrible Inventory (Since Before Covid)

I've been using Grove for 2 years now and they're great overall. Their household products especially are generally superb, when you can get them... because they're out of stock, all of the time. (This has been a consistent issue since LONG BEFORE Covid, so I don't expect it to ever change.) Need laundry detergent? Sorry, we just sold out while it was in your cart (every time). Hand soap and fabric softener are often unavailable for weeks and months. (Again, they had the exact same issues pre-pandemic.) When the products you need are backordered, it's not only difficult to reach an order minimum, there's also no reliability in using "subscriptions." I often postpone orders for weeks due to their non-existent inventory, or I end up buying from my local grocery (I shop at Target as little as possible). While I do feel they backtracked on their original plastic-free goals, they are still one of the most plastic-conscious companies out there, and I give them huge props for that; their environmental practices are the primary reason I use them - if they shift focus away from that, I'd say it's not worth the hassles with poor inventory management.

I love a clean house

I really like Grove

I really like Grove. Being planet conscious is a priority for me. The products work and smell great! I like how I can add or remove items each month. I can control the frequency of the shipment for each of the items. I like the chance to review my cart every time before the shipment is sent. I can call the friendly customer service employees if I ever have a problem. There is such a variety of inventory! I am enjoying moving my house to plastic neutral/free. I love the free giveaways with each order.

Some prices are way too high

Some prices are way too high. Especially when it comes to laundry soap dispensers. Would love to see more home organization products. But love the products I do purchase.

All I can say is my order is consistently correct. It arrives in a timely manner and I love what I receive. There have been a number of times when I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. The bamboo cutting board is fabulous and the cleaning supplies are always top notch. Thank you for being a wonderful company to do business with.
