I purchased a book, but seller did not even upload it so I could download. Gumroad never gave me a refund. THis is how Scam works.

I would give zero stars if I could. I had a customer dispute their purchase of my product, which I clearly state on my checkout page that I don't give refunds. Gumroad responded and said I lost the dispute because I don't have a refund policy. Then a week later I discovered that my account had been shut down...with no warning or notification. The customer "support" just sounds like an AI bot writing me a canned email. It's horrible. Don't use Gumroad.

I’ve had three Gumroad accounts suspended without clear explanation. Despite multiple attempts to contact support, I received no response and my funds remain stuck. The lack of communication and transparency is extremely disappointing.

As a creator, I trusted Gumroad to handle payments and support my business, but this experience has been frustrating and damaging. I cannot recommend Gumroad until their support and account management improve significantly.

I provided full proof that I was blocked by the seller within the refund period, yet Gumroad kept sending automated AI replies saying “contact the seller.”
Now, they simply ignore my emails — not even a single human response.

This platform protects scammers, not creators or customers.
I’ve already reported this to FTC and my local bank.

Some of ther worst support I've ever received in my entire life. I keep having bot like responses even though ironically chat GPT would respond better.

I randomly had lessons from 2 subscriptions stop sending me lessons despite being charged, the support refuses to help I've never had such poor quality support.

Piece of fraud shit, not a real company. Don't use!

big scumbag company spent hours creating and making listings and these cnts suspended my account without any legitimate reason stay away from scammers I will be contacting trading standards!!

i i used the Gumroad for first time ,and He banned my account ,for no reasion, i used the canva template to test used ,i have free subscription for canva

Gumroad used to be a trusty platform, Been using it 6 years now but nowadays it has fallen off pretty bad. They hold my earnings for a couple months now, skipping my payouts with the reason being "Payout was skipped because the account was not compliant." I contacted them for details and guess what, they never answer!

Gumroad is a scam. They are withholding my payout from sales made even though my account is fully verified and compliant. Support is non-existent — only a chatbot that gives no help, emails go unanswered, and even the CEO ignored my message. Their BBB rating is F with dozens of unresolved complaints, and now I know why. Avoid this platform if you value actually getting paid.

1.3 stars for obvious reasons. Except you to make 10$ before they allow your products to be discoverable at their own platform.

Gumroad has terrible customer service. They also allow scammers to run their businesses through their platform as well. Good luck trying to get any sort of refund after.

The payout was delayed, and when I asked them why, Gumroad suspended my account instead of giving me an answer. They have stolen my hard-earned money, and I have proof to back up everything I’m saying. Completely unacceptable behavior from a platform that claims to support creators. Shame on you, Gumroad.

NEVER EVER EVER USE THIS DOGSHIT COMPANY. THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY. And i'm not talking about the absurd rates they take. I am talking about the fact that if you have money in your account, they will BAN YOU FOR NO REASON. You can't take out the money you have earned, they will just tell you your account is not compliant, and you can't ever get the money. they take it. NEVER USE THIS EVER. SCAM COMPANY.

Bought a product from a seller who uses the site. Had a small problem which to be fair was down to me. Seller never responded to multiple requests for help. Gumroad gave me reassurance that they would help and give a refund. The best they did until lately was answer my emails reasonably quick, despite my earlier thoughts that they would help. Now they seem to be trying to get out of their earlier positive position. All I can say is, don't have any issues as you won't get any responseable conclusions

Very bad company. No chance for smaller creators. You'll never be in discover, it's all lie don't start here. Use Etsy or a bigger company. This Gumroad is made by a guy who thought he could steal your 30% from his room at his moms house. Don't trust their promises you get no views at all even if your in discovery. To much work, with no output.

The site takes 83,66% of creators' income. This does not support creators, but only the website.

Avoid if your goal is to sell products.

Out of €20, I only received €3, and the worst part is that I can't withdraw it because the minimum withdrawal amount is €10.

It was a surprise that my account was banned and I didn't get any reason from them, my product revenue also can't payout, the reason the account was "banned". They have a chatbot support and I asked them to payout and then the chatbot no longer appears when I log in and there is no email response up to now. They are showing signs of scam when you can't find any specific contact information from them be careful
