I would definitely give Gunbot 5 stars. Because even for someone like me, who is a complete beginner to the world of trading bots, and will obviously struggle with the typical "newbie" error codes associated with setting up a new software that you are not familiar with. Their fast responding support team and wiki were more than enough to solve these issues.
I am not personally familiar with other bots on the market. But if you are new to crypto trading, and want to try a bot. I do recommend Gunbot as the go to choice. I find that it's small learning curve will help you to learn a little more about "crypto trading" before diving in head first and possibly losing all your money. Their wiki will really help with that...

The [Pro] of Gunbot - vs - other bots out there... you buy it... and it's yours! Unlike those typical silicon valley "subscription plans" used by the other trading bots, that keep you shelling out money periodically so you won't notice your trading profits being siphoned away from you ever so slowly. In my opinion, if you are foolish enough to pay "subscriptions", then you might not have the right mindset for asset trading in the first place.

Excellent customer support. They responded within several hours of my query and successfully solved the issue.

Terrible experience and terrible customer service. I had a lot of money trading on Gunbot and there were five separate times where my bot was not running properly. When talking to the owner about my issues, he swept it under the rug since I was the only one having the issues. After purchasing Gunbot for over $1,000, I expected extraordinary customer service but it was awful. I lost over $600 in one trade alone due to Gunbots faulty software making erroneous and random trades. After messaging the owner multiple times he finally took my issues seriously after I lost well over a thousand dollars over the course of a week. I highly recommend you stay away from Gunbot, the software is not reliable and the customer service is even worse. I will never recommend this service to friends, there are so many better options out there.

It was fast and eazy to buy, and long and anguishing to set up on my pc.

I bought Gunbot back in the end of 2017, traded a bit, but then other things came in the way so i put it on ice,

recently i was reminded of gunbot by a friend but was sure that without all the keys and stuff you need when setting up the bot i was not getting back in.

i wrote a message in the contact form on gunbot.com
and after like 20 minutes i got an email from Pim,

they helped me efficently and fast with the little information i did have from back then when i was setting up the bot,
they helped me get the bot back up running and even when I stupidly gave them the wrong key they helped me change it to another one almost instantly.

I did not expect such customer service after 3 years of buying a product like a crypto bot

I am surprised that customer service like this exists anymore. Pim’s knowledge and kindness, as well as understandable replies, lead to direct implementation of my trade strategy. I made a mistake, because I didn’t finish the wiki, and he unwound it over an email and his reply allowed me correctly finish what I was setting up. His replies are insanely fast too. He knew the answer to every question I had. You have to read the wiki, some parts are very intuitive, but you are better equipped if you spend a few days reading. It’s extremely intimidating to allow a bot to control large sums of your money. Pim had me go live in two days from payment to first trade. I’m sitting here writing this, watching my daughter play, bot streaming in background, and I finally feel like I can look away from my screen for more than 10 minutes. Trailing stops are great and all but let’s be honest, on markets that run 24/7 more is required. Much more. GunBot was something I wished for a long time and my only regret is not doing it sooner.

It seems a tool for online kids playing with little virtual funds on exchange tournaments rather than a tool for a professional trader with responsibility for mid to upper side equity-size and profitability responsibility.

The supporting channels in Telegram does reflect that.
The communication there misses the expected professionalism.
Instead of professional discussions about crypto currencies and their future market behavior plus which strategies are successful, you find low level communication which is enriched with teenager pics.

The product itself has certainly potential. Although we faced many times disconnections of the license server, which caused non availability of the tool. We are not sure if this is the real reason, at least this is what we are told. Compared to normal software standards the GUI needs to improved.

The configuration of the bots is not state of the art and not consumer centric. More in an early beta-status. Unless the target group is not serious traders but computer nerds.

There is potential for sure, Gunthar seems to be engaged and ambitious, but at the moment we can not recommend that tool!

The installation process is simply bad.
You buy the product and get a link to github where you have to find out yourself, which of the offered gunbot-versions there, is the one I ordered.

The tutorial which guides you through the installation process is incomplete. I was, after serveral hours, not able to connect gunbot to my KrakenFutures Account. The API Settings simply did not work. The Mac-Terminal stated:invalid-license, all the time.

Other than normal software. With gunbot you need to start on a Mac the Terminal first, initiate a start routine before you can launch gunbot in your browser. - common!

After some try’s to convince gunbot to run, the system went stuck in an error loop. You can not simply reset the whole process by closing the terminal window and start again. -No, you need to edit the config.js and set the start value to false. Common! - This is from early Windows / DOS times when we needed to edit autoexec.bat. This is definitely not state of the art in 2020.

Positive: the Helpdesk was available even on a Sunday and the guys did their best to help me.

Conclusion: The installation process is simply bad. The launch process of the software (start Terminal first...) is in the 21st Century, a little bit vintage.

How it works? I can’t comment yet. I did not manage to get it run so far. I hope the rest is better and more customer orientated as the beginning.
