AVOID

AVOID
A really awful experience, none of my emails or calls ever returned. Seemingly my lawyer turned out to be part time and never in. The process dragged on for months and caused me considerable distress and much wasted time.
I have escalated to complaints and they haven't responded to any of my emails in over 8 months.

I will be escalating to the Law Society

Excellent Company

I am astonished at the bad reviews. We used GW Legal for conveyancing, and they were excellent. Rang us at every stage. They use an online portal with all the information which you can log in at any time. A visiting solicitor visited us to sign all the paperwork. She was fantastic and very professional. I would definitely recommend from our own personal experience.

Everything you read is true

Everything you read is true. Obviously their model is never to contact anyone, ever. My deal almost fell through. I don't know how some people here sleep at night. They KNOW they are a nightmare. As an agent I suppose I could worry about how they may act in future but how could be any worse? I have nothing to worry about. They were in a chain and were just terrible. The reception women were nice when I called but that was it. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Worst conveyancing solicitors I have…

Worst conveyancing solicitors I have ever used . Absolutely disgusting service and did not communicate whatsoever. In the end after 4 months of hell with them , I lost the property which had taken me over 6 months to find .
Was a very painful experience of auto response emails that they were busy and not getting back to you . Never again

Excellent Service

We've used GWLegal a few times now for remortgaging and moving, and I can safely say they've been excellent. Their online portal makes it easy to see what the process is and where we're up to, and the team themselves (Team Tara in this instance) were absolutely brilliant! Saffron, Julieann, Elaine, Helen and Tara were all excellent whilst being under tremendous pressure with the whole stamp duty stupidity.

THE WORST COMMUNICATION FROM A LAW FIRM

In 22 years in the industry i have never come across a conveyancing firm that is a rude and unprofessional as this firm. David Lowry, ignores all forms of communication from an agent that is attempting to assist their mutual clients sale. STAY AWAY

Very very bad

Very very bad experience with GW Legal, or Goldsmith Williams as they used to be called. They rebranded probably due to all the bad reviews on the old name.

Worst ever

Worst ever.
My Ex is using them, they have refused to discuss an ongoing legal matter as it's their policy only to deal with solicitors. they are rude in their emails, and have refused to discuss my own case with rep. They try and bully you into getting a solicitor, for something I do not need one for.
Disgusting and vile, unprofessional and rude!

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!

This company is downright rude and incompetent. They delayed my house purchase for more than 8 weeks. I have an ongoing complaint and they can't seem to pick up the phone or respond to emails. They have made multiple failings and have made my first time house purchase the experience from hell! Massively over priced (over £600 more than what was estimated) and do not do the job they are supposed to do.

AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Bad experience

Bad experience - charge a high amount for a service that you can do yourself for free with the right given template. Also... this company are there to help you reclaim money and help you out by financial wrong doing. When you don't pay on time with a valid excuse, they threaten you with immediate court action which will incur more costs and put you further into financial difficulty. They also spent more on postage to my address than what the amount was worth to them, letters every other day sometimes twice a day. Would avoid this company, they do not take circumstances into consideration. Seems like a company that's after a quick payday due to staff wanting their commissions to me... I may be wrong. Emails were very blunt and non friendly at all. I will certainly not be using GWLegal again nor will I be recommending them to anyone else.
