Old Gwernyfed is our 16th century home which includes 200 acres of woodland. Gwernyfed Wood is sourced solely from this woodland, we harvest the wood under our sustainable woodland management scheme, transport it to our yard only 1 mile away, where it is processed into a variety of different firewood products and then kiln dried in our own biomass kiln to a moisture content of under 20%. Kiln dried wood burns cleaner and hotter, and for longer, so with Gwernyfed Wood you can be assured of the highest quality product.

Very speedy delivery and excellent quality.
I placed my order at around teatime and the logs were delivered the next afternoon. They are exactly as described - dry and quite slow burning, and they produce plenty of heat.

Does everything they advertise
Does everything they advertise. Hardwood logs and briquettes are great. I only have a small wood stove and the logs are about an inch too big to fit, but cut in half and they last for ages. Fast delivery. Cannot fault the company or service. Thanks.
