Old Gwernyfed is our 16th century home which includes 200 acres of woodland. Gwernyfed Wood is sourced solely from this woodland, we harvest the wood under our sustainable woodland management scheme, transport it to our yard only 1 mile away, where it is processed into a variety of different firewood products and then kiln dried in our own biomass kiln to a moisture content of under 20%. Kiln dried wood burns cleaner and hotter, and for longer, so with Gwernyfed Wood you can be assured of the highest quality product.

Excellent product
Excellent product, I have a very small log burner in an outside building, and the pizza logs are perfect. Long burn, right size.

Pay more get less
Have been using this company for years for kindling and always had a great experience. Reordered kindling recently via eBay - paid more and essentially got less. The kindling is now about 5cm shorter than previous orders.
Contacted them to complain and no response. Pay more, get less. Seems the way right now

Buyers beware!
I placed an order where it stated buy 3 and get 4th free. I was subsequently charged for 4. I contacted the company and to date no response!

A Really Disappointing Experience
Sadly, having ordered through Amazon on two occasions before this third order, the latter has been a chapter of errors with promised deliveries come and gone! S**** seemed more interested in persuading me to download an app from their delivery company than fulfilling my order. There are other wood suppliers out there and I WILL be looking to them in future

Excellent Service and product from a Welsh Company!!
1. I found the Company on the Internet, and it had a very informative and helpful web-site, with competitive prices for guaranteed hardwood 'Woodsure' certified logs.
2. I had a couple of queries - I telephoned and left a message, and received a call-back from a very helpful person (Susie).
3. I did a trial order, which came the next working day as promised, and I found the product to be excellent.
4. I placed a larger order, again it came next day, and the packaging is such that storage was simplified for me.
5. I will continue to use this company - very efficient, and its Welsh!!
