Old Gwernyfed is our 16th century home which includes 200 acres of woodland. Gwernyfed Wood is sourced solely from this woodland, we harvest the wood under our sustainable woodland management scheme, transport it to our yard only 1 mile away, where it is processed into a variety of different firewood products and then kiln dried in our own biomass kiln to a moisture content of under 20%. Kiln dried wood burns cleaner and hotter, and for longer, so with Gwernyfed Wood you can be assured of the highest quality product.

Excellent quality and swift dispatch
Having zero space for storage I'm very happy to find a fairly local supplier where I can order and have delivered smaller amounts of good quality fuel for my fireplace. Very happy with my first order of hardwood logs and briquettes, I have already made a second order due for delivery in a couple of days. I suspect I will become a repeat customer!
