Unprofessional
This management company took over management of my building just as I moved in. I paid an open invoice from the previous management company several days before Haus took over, but now Haus is chasing me for that balance - and refusing to talk to the previous manager about issues with the handover.
Instead, they told me to get the previous management company to refund me so I could pay them.

A property-wide fire door inspection…
A property-wide fire door inspection was announced for (roughly) the second 'half of November 2025. The HAUS website, for some reason, would not give me access to the portal for making reservations for this purpose. Brenton Steenkamp was most helpful in sorting this and making our reservation.

Enure you get a personal service via a reliable locally based property manager.
After disastrous experience over many years when managed by the housing association ISHA we decided to take over and formed a Right To Manage Company. We knew that we could not manage all the admin or collect service charges but had very extensive skills and contacts within the block. We agreed with HAUS that we would organise and undertake maintenannce issues and safety checks and leave all admin and accounts etc to them. For some years now they have struggled with this arrangement, communication was very poor, largely because most of their staff are based in South Africa where many Property Managers actually live which explaining why they had never been to our building!! They run some properties from a distance which may work with some blocks but certainly not with more complex arrangements. HAUS did not reveal that management was done remotely but we were persistant and with the essential help and personal committment of one person, Dilber Karagoz we now have a good property manager and a single line of contact through him. Personal contact with one reliable person who knows the building and it's residents is essential to the working of a good management system, the remote system cannot provide a service and what is remote in our set-up is still sluggish. Our now workable system was made possible by one person in HAUS, Dilber Karagoz and after huge effort by all of us.

My experience is that they only do the minimum amount of work in the estate such hoovering and empty the bins there no maintenance and have to keep chased over and over again such fixing doors , gates , lights carpet cleaning and the foyer floor in my building looks disgusting full of dirt the walls after almost 6 years never had a single coat of paint to maintain the entrance clean. So we paid for a service charge and we don’t get the service that we need to maintain a building this management company it’s inefficient and disorganised.

Disappointing
Initially when HAUS took over the management of our property (in SE London), they were really good and prompt in responding to queries.
But this year their service levels have gone down considerably, they barely respond to the tickets raised on the portal for months, our property looks shabby (we had cladding remediation work completed recently), plenty of maintenance issues that are not addressed and we pay upwards of 2.5k in service charge per year (excluding insurance).
Really disappointing how they've gone downhill.
