My mother moved from her house in Cornwall to a residential flat in Oxford. She is 88 years old and has lived in Cornwall for 60 years so the move was a big deal for her and she was very anxious. The men who moved her (Darren, Sean and Mark) were very polite, patient and discrete. She was worried they would make a lot of noise and upset her new neighbours but she kept saying how quiet they were. So thank you from the family for a job well done.

Comfortably the worst of the 14 removals companies we have used over the years.

First of all they blamed shipping delays when the tracker in our effects showed that our stuff was already in the uk. Then they couldn't deliver for over a month so we got another company to pick up our stuff and bring it to us.

3 months later they say they will pick yo the boxes when "they are in the area"... We are less than an hour from their main depot and they havent been able to come yet.

So feel free to use this company if you like doing all the bits they have been paid to do yourself....

Everything was done with efficiency and good humour

We recently moved from Devon to Buckinghamshire, and although we had a date reserved for the move, everything changed when the move had to happen two weeks earlier than expected. Hackworthy went above and beyond to accommodate the new date at short notice.

We had booked the full packing service, which is a three-day job – not a small task to rearrange! Despite the sudden change, the entire process from booking to the delivery of our belongings was seamless and handled with professionalism.

Special thanks to Dave, who packed our belongings with great care, and to Jack and Jason, who managed the move itself brilliantly. They were efficient, friendly, and made the whole experience much less stressful.

I just wanted say how happy we were with our move last week.

The team were all brilliant and a real pleasure to get to know. Everything went so smoothly, and the team worked so hard. Nothing was too much trouble. It was so reassuring for us to have such a great team and company working with us.

The whole experience with Hackworthy from start to finish was absolutely first class and we would recommend you 110% to anyone.

I just wanted to email to say the guys were excellent. They arrived on time and did a sterling job packing up the truck our end Wednesday the 23rd of July. In addition, when they all arrived in Dartmouth on Friday the 25th of July all went well. ‘Ginge’ and the guys worked well under difficult conditions; the heat! And the random scaffolders descending a few doors up the road temporarily blocking the road!

Well done to Jack on his first week - he’ll be a super addition to the firm.

Used Hackworthy for my recent move, having used them on 2 previous occasions.
Still as good as ever, staff are friendly, helpful and hard working. Items were delivered to the rooms I needed them in, the supply of boxes and packing paper meant my items were protected.

Everyone we dealt with from the company was helpful and professional- from the home visit for the quote, communications with the office, and the men who moved our belongings out of our old property and into our new one. We used Hackworthy’s storage facility until we were ready to receive our belongings. After a long distance move, everything arrived as it should. We had a lot of steps at both properties and there wasn’t a single moan from the men. I would recommend Hackworthy for a stress free move.

Your Removal guys Dave and Ginge worked so hard today, their attitude, professionalism, personality, friendliness and the care they gave to all of our belongings were more than we could ever expect. Thank you also to the two other guys that came this afternoon (sorry I didn't catch your name) Also to Adrian who really helped on Friday and in the lead up with booking, when we were very anxious and stressed. You kept us sane and reassured us it would be ok. I can not recommend these guys enough!

We went for the packing service too. It was done brilliantly. On the day: the team provided positive good humour which eased the stress levels and made the physical move something to enjoy.
