Hader Institute of Education is one of Australia's highest-rated online RTOs — delivering nationally recognised qualifications in Mental Health, Youth Work, Community Services, and Alcohol & Other Drugs. We're 100% online and self-paced, with live trainer-led sessions, Guaranteed Work Placement through our partner SkilTrak, and interest-free payment plans from just $28 per week. That level of care isn't accidental. It's the standard we hire to and the culture we build every day. If you're considering studying with us — you're in the right place. I am loving my weekly lectures. The teacher is amazing she is easy to chat to and very knowledgeable. I love learning with a great group of likeminded people. Very happy with my decision to go ahead with Hader Institute.

I have to be real, people need to have this information before committing to Hader.
On line reads as " Self passed, remote learning". This would sound perfect to many.
I committed to this course, it is paid in full. I started back in 2023.The course seemed different then. I had to take a break and return again. On the very first 2 weeks of returning, I came across " ROLE PLAYS". the difficulty with role plays. It instantly required you to find 3-4 people to practice and record these role plays.
When you go into your student learner book. It becomes role play after role play. They release that it was 50 role plays cut down to 29. It is phenomenal. As a remote learner, It was a HUGE challenge to weekly find family, friends to rehearse scripts, record and edit the scenes. I personally had not a single person that had that time to give up. I faced the challenge that also people were confused on being recorded and their images submitted to an institute that had no affiliation to them. It became a huge challenge. I ended up doing some research and going over this, the course should have explicitly given people information on these exact details as it was a huge majority of the course.
The course directs you to an on line student chat room to source other people out to make these recordings. On my first day on the chat room. I was suddenly being called by a man. Over and over again. I messaged him twice to explain I could not speak, and for him to write a message. He kept calling. Now I was instantly put off. I had never had contact with him. We have never interacted and my message was clear I did not want to interact one on on through a phone conversation. Personally, I have some strong boundaries in my life that I feel safe with and this chat room is not where I want to be. I did research on this chat room. The chat room has no safety or privacy settings. Once you log in anyone from anywhere in Australia who has joined the course can contact you instantly. There are only rules set by the Institute, no actual settings in this site giving concent to people you wish to communicate with.
( Friend requests) I have deleted the chat room.
All these things were huge things for me, as all of it is unknown until you sign your documents and begin the course.
The remote learning, really suited me. I was not prepared to have such heavy bourden on filming and recording, filming and recording family, friends and even my own images being submitted. I do not have an on line presence for safety reasons. I don't have people to forfill those excessive productions or people who think it is reasonable to be included in the course I committed to.
Be WISE. Think about it. It's been a heavy bourden on me. I did not foresee or have any of the information first hand to make an informed decision if this was a course I could complete. I searched and I searched through the course outline to see if I had made a mistake or missed something when I signed up. I did not. The course description is very vague. The amount of recording is heavy and it is difficult to research and complete assignments at the same time because these recordings are weekly. I was even put off trying to co-ordinate times with people over and over and over again as it " self passed" how on earth could I co ordinate this many recordings with people when I signed up to study at my pase. .I looked into Tafe and other institutions. They have simulated scenarios and actors that you book in with. It is organised by the Institute. This course puts the entire weight of it on the student. The also seem to only have up to 10max 15 role plays to finish. This course started at 50!!!! That is 5 month. It is accessible.
Anyway. Be mindful. The students enrolled did not have knowledge of this huge challenge

Starting off I was really nervous. The staff at Hader are excellent, I was lucky to have Ashlee guiding me through the whole process and made the entire process really easy. Hader was unknown to me, after speaking with Ash, its an obvious choice to go to for studying. Couldn't rate his service higher.

Ashley Saddoo was very helpful, he guided me through the whole process of the course, payments etc. lovely & positive vibes! He didn’t pressure me into enrolling in the course unless he was absolutely 100% sure I was keen on it which was really good, highly recommend Ashley. His work ethic and kindness goes above and beyond, appreciate your work!
May God bless you always

I have been very anxious thinking about tackling my first roll play. My trainer Cayan went through a roll play in class tonight with us. It was awesome to see how it’s done and what the expectations are. I now actually can’t wait to get one done!
