I have been looking for a practical desk for work to have in our spare room for ages now. Other online shops and beyond selling lower quality products showed many disappointed customers with complaints about scratches, marks, gouges and other problems. I came across The Hairpin Leg Co and found the exact size desk top that I needed with a variety of solid, stylish hairpin legs to choose from. I love that the desk is ready made and the legs I chose come with floor protectors that fit easily on the end. The legs are solid and the finish is high quality (we chose black). I was sold on the formica top - a solid, hard wearing finish I have not come across in any other shops - and the white option is great for the room, works well with the black legs. I was also happy to see that under the top there are premade screw holes ready to place the legs over and screw into easily. They are perfectly placed/less room for error all around. This was very easy to put together and looks perfect in the space. I am surprised to see a few rare reviews with complaints about the wood edge finish on the top. Looks and feels fine to me, a nice quality finish. I look forward to using this desk for years to come and would recommend to others. It was great to get this product on sale and then an additional 10% off for first purchase. It was also a nice surprise to select standard delivery and discover the product was on its way to us the following day with DHL delivering on time and messages updating us. So pleased to have discovered this company.
