I recently went to Bosnia with HTG on a woman's only retreat and as it was my first solo trip i was a bit anxious about what the whole experience would hold but i had nothing to worry about as I was made to feel absolutely welcomed and part of the group. Was able to make amazing memories, shared lots of laughs, met wonderful people and truly had a great adventure on this holiday.
HTG provided us with not only great accommodation, stunning food, amazing guides, easy transports, beautiful locations to explore and education on the history of the country. But also the opportunity to make true long lasting friendships along the way.
I was truly lucky to share this trip with absolutely wonderful sisters who became family by the end.

I would no doubt recommend HTG to anyone. Being able to travel feeling safe and secure among a group who want to learn, explore and genuinely have fun same as you.
A trip where Soumaya hosted, organised and planned so well to make you feel like you can really enjoy a different type of holiday and get so much more out of it as well.
So glad i took the opportunity to travel with HTG now and grateful for the experience.

This was my first trip with HTG and it was an amazing experience. Soumaya had meticulously planned the trip to every detail and I enjoyed every minute of my stay.

Cappadocia is a lovely place with beautiful landscapes and lots of fun activities to take part in. The HTG ensured our stay included as many experiences as possible, from hot air ballooning to horse riding and walks in the valleys. Our trip supported the local business community and it was lovely interacting with the locals to learn more about the area and it’s fascinating history.

Highly recommend the HTG group and Soumaya for creating a full travelling experience.

This was my second trip with HTG - and let's just say I've left a part of my heart in Uzbekistan!

Soumaya's hardwork, and planning is quite evident when you see the carefully chosen hotels, and the rich in history itineraries she chooses.

I, truly, was able to sit back and relax and let everything be taken care of. As a meticulous planner, this is extremely hard for me to do normally, but I feel I could not have done it better myself.

Travelling with HTG gives you the added bonus of feeling safe, and finding like minded travellers with whom you form a bond. A special thanks to Humoyun (our local host in Uzbekistan) who ensured the group was taken care of - and added to the spiritual discussions on our many road trips!

I had reservations about booking holiday with anyone given the new experience, but upon finding HTG this was countered by reassurances throughout the booking process by the host Soumaya, who was very considerate and addressed all concerns and helped with booking the flights.

The trip itself exceeded all expectations, the itineraries carefully planned, there was never a moment of feeling bored as we managed to do a lot in a short space of time, I don’t think I would have managed to do as much if I was to plan it all. I cannot believe going on a hot air balloon was on my bucket list and I got to experience it in the most amazing place known for the ride with spectacular views at sunrise. I’m so glad I chose to do this and with HTG where i met like minded people and a warm host and had such a good time.

I will definitely be booking again with HTG, highly recommend this company you won’t regret it.

HalalTravelGuide never fails to impress me!

I recently came back from the Ladies Retreat trip in Cappadocia a couple of days ago. This is now my third trip with HalalTravelGuide and it most certainly won’t be my last. This trip was amazing and well thought of. For quite some time I have been wanting to go on a hot air balloon ride and HTG made this happen and it was probably the most surreal experience of my life. The main host Soumaya attended the trip with us and she ensured we were all looked after and was always there if we had any additional questions.

The reason as to why I keep booking my trips with this amazing travel guide company is because the itinerary is well thought of and they ensure that you don’t miss anything to see whilst you’re abroad. They pick the best guides to take you around the places that you’re visiting.

Now I am sitting here thinking of which HTG I would like to go on next.

I had such a wonderful time in Cappadocia and will treasure my memories from this trip for a very long time. This was my first ever trip abroad and I'm grateful that I was able to join a group of lovely Muslimahs on the adventure. Soumaya was an amazing host who would go above and beyond to make sure we were all looked after and content. I felt constantly reassured, and despite this initially being a nerve-wracking endeavour for me, Soumaya would boost my confidence and make me feel at ease. The itinerary was full of a variety of activities with the group that heavily focussed on the culture and history of Cappadocia, but we were also given the evenings to wind down or explore the area ourselves. I've crossed out things from a bucket list before i even finished writing one! I feel honoured to have been a part of this unforgettable trip and hope to travel with HTG again.

I've just had my second experience with Halal Travel Guide and it was totally epic! I love the way Soumaya takes care of everything from pairing roommates up who don't snore to making sure we are all well fed, meaning I can just turn up and switch my brain off and have a real holiday!
We just went to Cappadocia and I'm still savouring the experience. I had so much fun running around in caves, flying around in a hot air balloon and riding a horse. The scenery is just spectacular - Soumaya has good taste in choosing destinations and taking us off the beaten track!
On both trips I have taken there have been zero issues with my allergens and I have a few!
I love the vibe of the groups I've travelled with and have made life long friends but it feels like more than just friendship, it's more like family ❤

I recently went to Turkey (Cappadocia) with HTG and loved every minute of the trip. It was really well thought out and planned. From the moment we arrived at the airport there was already someone waiting for us to get us to the hotel safely. Soumaya was excellent as a host. And she had her little assistant ( her daughter) who started very entertaining dinner talks 🤣. There was a hot air balloon experience that was spectacular. I would definitely recommend this. I think everyone would enjoy it 😉.

I recently did my first trip with HTG (Turkey, Cappadocia) and Soumaya was our host. As a new traveller i wanted to go with a reputable company that catered to my needs as a Muslim woman and found HTG. Upon first contact with Soumaya she was super responsive and answered all the questions we had. Soumaya even made recommendations about which flights to catch to avoid self-transfer (of luggage from main flight to domestic transfer).

Once in Cappadocia, Soumaya greeted us (along with her delightful daughter as an added bonus) at our hotels with a warm welcome. She kindly provided light refreshments in our room after a long journey and informed us of plans for the next day.

The hotel itself was fantastic; great view from the terrace, great service from staff and a really friendly and accommodating Hotel Manager. Our room was tidy, clean, spacious and had all the things you’d expect. We were not short of anything.

The itinerary itself was jam-packed and you really get your money’s worth on this trip. Soumaya organised a very well informed tour guide (Hassan) to take the group around Cappadocia’s beauty spots from hidden underground cities, to monasteries up in hills and dusty mountains. We got to see Cappadocia’s breathtaking views and explored a lot. There were plenty of opportunities for taking photos and selfies and Soumaya always asked if we were ok to proceed to the next spot or activity.

The girls on the trip were all friendly and theres always someone you’ll likely click with straightaway. I’d definitely use HTG again and would recommend them for any first time travellers who are nervous about solo travelling or just want the reassurance that a hosted trip brings.

My trip with Halal Travel Guide was full of adventure and discovery, without the hassle of having to plan.
I went to Uzbekistan and was warmly treated by everyone, we had aid of a local guide Humoyun who knew the language and people to ultimately keep us safe and informed wherever we went.
I was really impressed with the amount of care we received throughout the trip.
The tour itself was rich in Islamic history and for each city we visited we had a specialist guide accompany our main guide and group to share their knowledge.

There were no concerns in regards to transport while on the trip, picking a great hotel or worrying about the best place to eat as it was all arranged.. we simply showed up and enjoyed a great trip all round

Soumaya has done a great job in bringing value to anyone travelling with HTG especially if you’re going to a country you’ve never been to.

Personally I don’t think I would’ve ever been able to match the quality of service HTG provided me if I were to plan and do Everything myself.

After an almost two year hiatus, I finally travelled abroad. And there was no better way than to travel with HTG to Uzbekistan.

At the first instance of being introduced to the itinerary I knew this was a trip seldom found anywhere else. I had been researching about Uzbekistan since just before the pandemic and there didn't seem to be any travel provider that matched my aspirations as well as carrying an Islamic/Muslim-friendly theme. That was until I came across HTG which contained everything and more.

Soumaya was very accomodating and supportive during the run up to the trip especially as I was going to be travelling solo. All of the technical, logistical and organisational aspects of the trip were managed brilliantly by sister Soumaya and brother Humoyun allowing me to enjoy the trip seamlessly.

It is needless to say that Uzbekistan is truly a gem of Central Asia and I enjoyed everything from the food to the historical & cultural monuments which was topped with the Pottery & Calligraphy masterclasses.

Looking forward to visiting Uzbekisran again with HTG In Sha Allah as well as other destinations.

This was my first solo group trip experience and my first trip with Halal Travel Guide. I honestly didn't know what to expect but everything worked out smoothly. I especially appreciated how organized everything was and how easy Soumaya made it for all of us to feel safe and comfortable.

I wouldn't have it any other way than to start the year off this way. We had a week of laughs, delicious authentic food and got to connect with the local community which I really loved. The connections and friendships you leave with is enough to make you want to come back. The experiences were also pretty memorable and I loved trying out new things, such as snorkeling with turtles.

This was my 3rd(!) trip with halal travel guide, after my first two being Bosnia and Uzbekistan. The founder aims to provide off the best destinations for Muslim travellers, and I can honestly say she does not disappoint! Soumaya is incredibly organised, super hospitable and goes above and beyond with her guests. I always felt well looked after, and she aims to make all guests feel comfortable, providing reassurance and nice personal touches which make all the best for an incredible holiday experience. As someone who travels fairly regularly (mainly on my own itineraries and planning), it is a pleasure to travel with a company that provides excellent itineraries with varied opportunities in the trips, and really look after you well. I always felt assured with HTGs carefully planned Itineraries that we were seeing the best of the countries visited, with the most recent being Barbados. When i think about foreign travel, i have always been sceptical. I need peace of mind if i am going to travel abroad. I came across HTG in 2019 and decided to book a trip to Bosnia with my daughter. The trip just blew me away. The itinerary, transport to and from airport, the tour.. all planned with so much thought and care! The following year, i booked Cappadocia with HTG, but because of the pandemic this was cancelled. Last December i travelled with my daughter to Jordan with HTG.This was the trip of all trips! It’s been over 3 weeks since we come back from this trip, but the memories of the good times are just etched into my mind in such a way, i remember parts of the trip every day! The tour was phenomenal! We visited Islamic sites and shrines, visited Petra, stayed in a bedoin camp, went camel riding and desert safari, ate delicious food. And the Star Gazing experience was just epic! I am confident to book with HTG and this for me is also a way that i am introducing to my children to travel in future. Soumaya Hamdi takes so much care in planning these trips and they are not just beautiful but educational trips too. Don’t hesitate to book with HTG. You will not be disappointed!

I went on the travel trip to Bosnia and was very happy and satisfied with my trip. I have been wanting to go to Bosnia with Halal Travel Guide from last year and actually booked my initial trip in April 2020 but it was cancelled due to the pandemic and I was able to get refunded back, which Soumya made possible with ease. Alhamdullilah Allah made it possible for me to travel this October 2021 with Halal Travel Guide and SubhanaAllah what a beautiful wonderful experience. I can not imagine seeing Bosnia without Soumaya and Nedim as tour guides. They made the experience even more special and wonderful. It was such a Hassel free tour, the group was wonderful, made friends for life for sure. Insha'Allah I hope to book more trips in the near future with Halal Travel Guide and would definitely recommend them.
