Only one of the recipients reported they had received a rotten piece of fruit in their gift. Variety of fruit is good and overall a better experience with delivery company this year. Usually Fed ex is terrible about leaving a perishable item such as the fruit, which is clearly marked what it is, out in weather which will spoil it. I believe since they know the company requires to report delivery to them, and the company lets the customer know, that it was much improved this year.

I am terribly disappointed with Hale Groves. I purchased an order of fruit for a Christmas gift. The gift's recipient indicated to me that the citrus was tasteless and the apples/pears were mealy. Hale Groves replaced the citrus with at least one rotten orange and did not replace the apples/pears after promising to do so. I will never do business with this company again.

I recently learned that fruit I have had shipped has had some spoiled fruit in it. I usually order ten boxes of fruit each Christmas. I recently learned there has been some spoiled fruit each year for the past three years. I haven't asked for earlier than that. I am very disappointed! From now on I will call each recipient and ask. If there is spoiled fruit again I will inform you and expect the fruit to be replaced. Caroline Nensewitz
