Had my 19 Panel & 2 Battery Sigenergy system fitted by Halo about 2 weeks ago. The process was very easy from start to finish and after sales support has been spot on (I ask a lot of questions!! 😀). Matt and the team have been superb! Professional from quote, survey and installation! The Installation team were excellent and had the system up and running in a day. The system installed is first class and exceeds my expectations! If you are considering Solar & Batteries don't make any decisions until you have spoken to Halo!!

Great fast service, ordered extra battery at 5pm in the evening and got it installed next day after lunch. Very pleased and highly suggest anyone to use halo.

Excellent all round. We had quotes from 5 different installers. Throughout the process the Halo team were exceptional, the quote wasn't the cheapest or the most expensive (it was very competitive) but they went so much further.

Before the install day and during the survey they were always available and proactively suggested improvements to the plans where it was useful and showed lots of patience giving great feedback to my constant questions and research around the tech.

On the install day the team arrived promptly and set to work like a formula one tyre change team, everything installed and in place within the day, including dealing with a few on the day snags which the team raised with me and resolved well.

No problem recommending Halo at all. Great price exception service and high quality work.

made a call - received a quote within 10 minutes. I had already researched and they were very competitive.

I asked questions on various models and the advice he gave was straight forward and honest.

went ahead with his recommendation, everything was e-sign - nice and easy - and then 4 weeks later (as they have to commission with electric company or something) got a call to install and they came and installed and tidied everything up.

very professional, very friendly, unbelievable they offer such great service.

I feel very confident if there is ever a problem these guys will come back as it is clear they care about the customers

After endless searching and unwanted sales phone pitches I stumbled across Halo Renewables.
I was toying with the prospect of having solar for a while but as soon as I entered any details I was swamped for weeks with calls and it kind of set me back and stalled my solar aspirations.
I kept seeing Halo pop up whenever I looked into solar so I delved into the reviews and was impressed with the results.
Id had 3-4 quotes from other outlets before I contacted Halo, Matt is the person that I dealt with from the initial 1st call to the end installation, he’s obviously a good salesman but upon speaking to him you kind of feel that you can relax a little as he’s not pushy or trying to just close a deal. The system that I opted for was very competitively priced and I’m pleased so far with the end result.
The scaffolding team ( rvl ) arrived on a sat afternoon, they were very courteous and professional and two sides were erected within an hour and half.
The installation team ( Thomas, Luke and Brad) arrived around 08.30 and were getting in their vans to leave at 14.30. They installed 30 panels on the roof and installed a gateway, 10kw inverter and 3 x 10kw batteries.
Extremely pleased with the result and looks very tidy.

Was having trouble with my old batteries not providing power to the house so spoke with Matt @ Halo who diagnosed the problem and then offered a solution.

New batteries and inverter were installed today and Matt and Thomas did a great job for us! Really pleased with the outcome and also the support through the APP for the new tech!

Just had my solar, battery, DC charger and gateway installed by Matt and the team at Halo Renewables.

Firstly Matt provided some great advice prior to purchase and discussed our requirements in great detail, going through the various options.

We got a few quotes before proceeding, but the spec of the equipment Halo quoted for exceeded that of the others and was still less expensive.

We then had a full survey done where the position of the battery, panels and charger was finalised.

Halo then took a 25% deposit and arranged a fast track application for my G99 export certificate.

A couple of days before the install, the scaffolders arrived and quickly erected platforms to the front and rear, very polite and efficient. Also gave me a good chance to clean my gutters!

On the install day, two teams arrived, the panel installers and the electricians. Once again extremely polite and helpful, positioned everything exactly where we wanted and helped us with questions around the mobile app that we use to control the system, also left the house spotless and took away all packaging.

The following day the post sales team sent us all our documentation including the MCS, HIES policy, G99 and all instructions, design schematics and documentation for the system.

We’ve had a few days of sun and have already seen the impact on our electricity bill - literally pennies instead of multiple pounds per day, i wish i done it sooner.

All in all i don’t think i could have asked for a better experience. Thank you Matt and the team!

We had our new solar and battery system installed by Halo a little over a month ago, and couldn't have been happier with the whole experience.

From the quoting stage they were excellent to deal with, attentively listening to our requirements, and providing a competitive quote - including multiple last minute tweaks and changes. They were not pressuring in their approach at all, and genuinely were a pleasure to deal with. Everything was explained well, including covering how we might get better value for money from our system post install.

Regarding installation, the scaffolding went up around a week before and was left up for a week after, it would have been nice to have a little bit more communication regarding when this would happen, as they literally just showed up and started construction / deconstruction without any warning.

The actual installation itself was excellent however, the team were prompt and polite, and everything was completed by just after lunch with a solid handover. In particular they were communicative regarding any issues they found with our roof and setup, and dealt with them quickly. On the day they were also able to tweak the setup and fit in an extra panel after we expressed we would have as many as possible.

The paperwork and handover was also sorted incredibly quickly and we had everything required to register for an outgoing rate in our hands shortly after settling the final invoice, it was all handled very professionally. We would more then happily recommend them in the future and will happily return should we decide we need a battery expansion!

Needed to replace our battery and approached several suppliers. Matthew proposed a Sigenergy battery and inverter larger than others offered at a comparable price. He patiently answered all of my questions without any 'hard sell' including managing all of the DNO/MCS paperwork.
The installation of the battery and integration with our PV system was professionally and efficiently managed by Bradley. Two weeks in and the 'Time based control' mode in the MySigen App is already delivering significant savings. Would highly recommend Halo for the quality of the service from query to fully commissioned system.

A company who knows how to give excellent service. From Matt to the electrician Brad and the panel fitter Tomasz, great service and efficiency at it's best. 15 panels all fitted and working in one day and the scaffolding down extremely promptly. Highly recommended.

Whilst I could have written a review as soon as install day, I wanted to wait a little while to ensure the system is working as it should and to review any after sales service. I have had the system for a month now so feel in a place to write this review;
Quote / pre-install:
I had a number of quotes as expected and Halo came out as one of the most competitive. They were patient and able to change things very promptly, with the owner offering exceptional service and no BS. When speaking through other quotes with them, they were again professional and not at all dismissive. I conducted my own research through companies house and it looks as though Halo is in a really good position and should be around for a long time for any after care.
There was no pressure or sales tactics and they have belief in what they offer, so in the end, it was an easy decision.
I ensured the work wasn't started before the paperwork had been approved by the DNO and Halo didn't push for a date to book in until the DNO had responded (in case they didn't agree with the level of work). The application process was fast and communicated throughout.
The team sent out an engineer for a pre inspection to confirm panels / design / location and issues. This was seamless again and they were able to answer more technical questions about the exact location of the install.

Install day;
This was a slick and incredible install. The roofers came first in the morning and were starting within 10 minutes - not enough enough time for a quick brew! Although only 2 people showed up, which I thought wouldn't be enough for 20 panels, they had completed the roof work and had all panels installed in 3 hours! It was refreshing to see installers graft as hard as they did whilst still being very careful about the work they were completing.
Later on in the morning, the electrician arrived and confirmed where all the runs / wires were going to be located as well as the battery and gateway. He then proceeded to complete all the work and the whole install was completed within 4 hours! That is for 20 x panels, 2 x batteries, inverter and gateway. The electrician went through the app, ensured I was happy with everything and even enabled features so I could run smart home apps from the inverter.
All 3 installers cleaned up after themselves and were professional and polite throughout. I was amazed at how quickly they completed the work, but as they said - when they are doing 4 or 5 installs a week - it becomes 2nd nature. A really impressive install day and I couldn't have been happier.

Post install - After payment, all documents were sent across promptly and allowed for me to apply for my export number as well as having my insurance backed documents returned. Nothing was withheld and the transparency from the company is refreshing to see.
The system has worked flawlessly and is on par with the estimates they had given so far, so again, really good, honest service from Halo.

I don't often do reviews as generally service is on par with what I would expect for the money I pay - but Halo went above and beyond and from my own research, I could see they are a company you would want to be dealing with. I now rave about my solar install to everyone I meet and there is no comparison to any of the other companies that quoted me for the work. Thanks Halo for an amazing experience.

I had an excellent experience with the team at Halo Renewables. From start to finish the communication was great and their pricing was very competitive compared to other quotes.

The installation was efficient and completed in one day. Since the system has been up and running, I’ve had excellent results, my best day in March produced 49kw of energy from my 18x 485w Aiko panels—everything is performing exactly as I’d hoped and energy bills are now non existent. Highly recommended.

This week we had our Solar panels coupled with Sigenergy battery's, inverter, gateway and EV charger. Matt from Halo renewables has been a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Always answering any questions we had quickly and efficiently making the whole process from quoting to commissioning seamless. Bradley ,Thomas and the rest of the installation team did a great job and we are delighted with the finished result. Overall 10/10 with our experience with Halo renewables. Not only did they knock the ball out of the park with the pricing but the finished result with the installation and commissioning is impeccable.

Matt sold us a system that has proved to do exactly what he promised, Now a week in we are seeing super savings on our energy bills. They handled the project documentation and essential certification in a timely manor leading to us receiving a high quality Sinergy system with 15 panels and a 10kw battery at a competitive price. The installation performed by a dedicated team led by Brad was excellent. I stongly recommend Halo.

Having decided that I wanted a Sigenergy system, I went looking for a Sig specialist and came across Halo. Firstly Matt listened to what I was trying to achieve and specified exactly what i was looking for, secondly there was no hard sell - he left me alone to consider things for a month, and lastly their quote was very competitive. On the day, their team of 4 was polite, swift and efficient. The install was completed in 5 hours and was extremely tidy. I am extremely happy with the result. 1 week in, the system performance is ahead of what I was expecting and overall I'm delighted with result. (10x Aiko 510, 20/5 kwh Sig system)

Excellent. Halo Renewables have replaced our roof with a new in-roof solar system and battery and I have to say from start to finish they have been excellent. The team worked tirelessly for us and Thomasz ensured our property was water tight every evening. Matt was in touch throughout and always on hand to answer any queries. The price was very reasonable and the result worth every penny.

I can whole heartedly recommend Halo Renewables, everything from the advice, design and install were on point and Matt and the install team were fantastic.

I’m happy to admit I was a bit of awkward customer with changing mind some of the equipment I wanted and also changing the location of the battery which required some redesign and extra logistics from the Halo team but they managed to pull it out of the bag for me relatively last minute.

I have to give a special shoutout to the install team as the worked extremely hard getting the equipment installed in a challenging day of changing weather.

Unfortunately despite best efforts the work was unable to be fully competed on the day due to terrible weather but the install team made sure to prioritise solar/ battery install and agreed to come back at a later date for the EV charger instal which I don’t need yet anyway.
