Refreshingly Brilliant

This company are an example of how a business should be run. I had a couple of technical queries about the Ecoflow Delta 2 Pro before purchase. My calls were answered promptly and by a human! They were most helpful and knowledgeable. Bought the power station and it arrived the next day. Brilliant company!

Solar generator purchase would use again!

Purchased a solar generator last week Hampshire generators where cheaper than anywhere else I could find (by quite a lot) item was dispatched next day and arrived within a few days.

I had a follow up question about shipping which I sent via email my question was answered very quickly by yvonne.

Overall I am super happy and will use again in the future! Thanks guys !

I'm very disappointed with this company…

I'm very disappointed with this company I bought a generator bluetti and panel 2 all cost 3200 or more aprox. And never used because the panels it's not give me 440w how promise the company in full sunlight its give half I send him back and I call today because after 2 weeks its nobody email or call me for tell me what's going on....and I have to call me self lilie who his manage the afther sale it's all time have argued with me how I talk but I talk very well just her search time or something else for not fixing ne problem...so I say send me new or send va k the money i will buy somewhere provider...the customers its horrible I dont know why have 4.3 stars I give just one star ...very disappointed and just wait will see if the generator its work well .so done waste your money here good luck

So helpful, sales and tech department. Absolute joy to do business with. Suit case solar panel is just brilliant. Good quality. Had quiet a few ask where I got it from.

In general

Delayed delivery by TNT/Fed EX, but that was not Hampshire Generators fault, although it was the chosen courier by the company, so a slight drop in the stars.
Main reason though for 3 stars is that the company reduced the price very close to the delivered item, and when my son phoned he was greeted by a very rude male member of staff who claimed that he accepted the price when it was ordered and if your unhappy then send the item back.....VERY poor attitude I think, therefore my son and I will not be recommending the company to anybody else, nor will be using the company again unless their price is cheaper than everywhere else or is only available from them.
Sorry Hampshire Generators, but you have a male member of staff that has a very bad attitude to your customers over the phone.

You don't always get what you pay for

Generators are pretty expensive and solar generators are a fairly new thing as are flexible solar panels so I thought I would pay 10% more to buy from a dealer that offered service. That's where Hampshire Generators came in.

I had a very good sales interaction over the phone and was happy to buy on the spot. I then had an initial niggle in not receiving the generator on the same day as the solar panel (it turns out for justifiable transport safety reasons) but what was annoying was not being told that that would happen and not being given any details of the transport company or tracking info.

However what has really annoyed me is that I am paying for service through a higher price compared to just online and have bought a five-year warranty included in the price of the product. I have now found that when the system stopped working mysteriously, on day one, I was brushed off by the same sales exec. He did discuss the problem with me but lost interest very quickly.

Initially he didn't even call me back within hours of leaving a message so I had to chase him. He said he would get a technical guy to call me as soon as possible. That was yesterday, Monday, early afternoon when I got to speak to him. It's now lunch time Tuesday; no call.

What a joke. So basically I pay for service and I don't get it. That's wonderful. I also pay for a product which works intermittently. Awesome.

What is so stupid is that I told the sales exec that I'm ready to spend thousands more on a fuller system. No interest now on either side. Remarkable.

I am sorry if this is harsh but it is my experience of my only interaction with this company. Of course other people may have had a much better deal. I think you need to be very clear that you are going to get access to a technical person within 24 hours if necessary. I also emailed the customer support desk yesterday evening asking what I should do. No response.

Good prices, good service

Buying a Honda generator is straightforward so that just leaves price, and customer service.
Their price was the best available, and their staff were friendly and helpful.
The courier messages were accurate, and the delivery was within 3 days. All good thanks.

Amazing Customer Service

Amazing customer service and rapid delivery. I ordered my Ecoflow Delta 2 on the Sunday night and it was delivered at 8:45 on the Tuesday morning. I spoke with Hampshire Generators the week before I ordered and the person I spoke to was helpful and knowledgeable. I would definitely order from them again.

Rubbish generator

I bought a portable generator from these. On first use I found the generator almost impossible to start. I rang them and they said they would ring me back. They didn't. I plodded on with it. Although I could never start it. Someone else had to start it for me! Please note I can start 60 year old Briggs and Stratton engines on rotovators. But I can't start this new engine. After 6 months, the generator burnt the plug of a brand new water pump. I sent it for repair and also commented that it was a poor starter. Once started, it was fine, it ran well. Then recently, no one could start the generator (not just me!). So it was sent back for repair. But enough is enough. I asked for a refund. But they are saying that there was stale fuel in the carburettor. This is impossible as I add an additive to my super unleaded fuel that stops it going off for two years. The same fuel in the 60 year old Briggs and 10 year old Mountfield lawnmower that had not been used for 4 months. They started at first pull. So I can't get a refund because they claim I'm have stale fuel in the engine. But I asked for the analysis of this so called "stale" fuel. But it never came. This engine in the generator is notfit for purpose as it is too sensitive for the real world. It is not durable and not fit for purpose. Now I'm lumbered with an useless generator. Don't buy from them
