Nikki Cullen has been an exceptional Senior Property Manager throughout our tenancy with Hamptons in Tunbridge Wells.
She is consistently prompt in responding to emails, quick to raise queries on our behalf, and incredibly accommodating whenever issues arise.

Any communication that needs to go to the landlord is handled smoothly and without fuss, which makes the whole process feel effortless.

Hamptons, Hertford, Poor

Hamptons, Hertford, were a disappointment for several reasons. The negotiator, Alex, was actually pretty good—an archetypal sales negotiator who was clearly experienced. My disappointment came from the management in this branch. I was initially told the company did not offer video presentations, only to later discover that they could. The printed property details were on low-quality paper with a poor-quality printer, which, while it may not seem important, gave an impression of cheapness—especially from a company dealing with properties worth over a million. My main criticism was how they handled a potential purchaser who made an offer on my property. I felt pressured to accept, and when I refused, the offer was then increased. It seemed the management did not take ownership of their advice, and there was an air of arrogance, as though closing a deal to benefit them financially mattered more than whether I was disadvantaged. Overall, poor experience. I did not sell and am considering relaunching, but not with this company. Circa Sept 2025

Excellent Property Manager.

David Whiting has been the Property Manager looking after both my Tenanted Properties for the last 10 years and over that time has provided a friendly efficient service. Nothing is too much trouble and problems are solved quickly and without fuss.

Dena is a great Property Manager

Dena is my current contact and Property Manager at Hamptons, and she has been extremely professional and a pleasure to deal with. She has been very helpful in assisting with recent parking issues and in resolving ongoing problems with unauthorised vehicles.

Dena Gold is approachable, friendly, and highly efficient in her communication. She responds promptly and handles any concerns or issues with professionalism and care. It has been a genuinely positive experience working with her, and she is always happy to help.

Hamptons St Albans

We have been tenants at a property managed by Hamptons St Albans for over 10 years now and have been very happy with the service throughout this time. All communication has been professional, friendly and timely, especially from the property manager Daniel Johnson, and his predecessor David. Any query we have raised has been answered immediately and any jobs or repairs needed have always been actioned straight away. The team in St Albans have been a pleasure to deal with and I would highly recommend using Hamptons if considering renting in this area.

I have had a lot of contact over a number of years

I have had a lot of contact and personal professional service from this company and I know very well that with in the regional office I deal with, things are run to a high standard. I am situated 16,000 kilometres away in another country so it is critical that I have up to date clear and accurate information and reports about the property that is overseen by Hamptons. Their team is very well run and I can say that I am consistently reassured and impressed with my main contact there who is Constance Graham. She has an efficient and polite natural style to problem solving which results in excellent service to myself as the client. I am always kept up to speed with email and photographic information which provides the communicative link to my tennants and maintainance services that I need.
I am so glad that Hamptons as yet, have not introduced Artificial Intelligence to their clients at the level of service that I require. Well trained humans are what Landlords want.

Hamptons have been acting for our let properties for several decades. They have always proved to be efficient, professional and competent. We are very comfortable in leaving our properties in their capable hands. Constance has been dealing with the day-to-day management and she is a delight to deal with. I’ve had a really positive experience…

I’ve had a really positive experience with Hampton Agent Management. From the start, their service has been professional, efficient, and genuinely supportive. Communication has been clear and consistent throughout, which made everything feel straightforward and stress-free.

They’re always quick to respond, keep you updated, and are happy to answer any questions, no matter how small. It’s clear they care about doing things properly and making sure the tenants feel looked after.

The very fast and efficient response I got from Max Barnes when my boiler broke down leaving me with no hot water or heating was first class. Max was quick to act and to keep me informed of what was happening with the repair. Great service.

Offer accepted, paid deposit, then chose a higher offer on day of contract signing

We placed an offer for a property, which was accepted by the landlord and a holding deposit was paid.

The following day i was notified by Hampton's that the landlord had received a better offer, so wanted to back out on the day we were due to sign contracts, leaving me and my partner with just 1 week to find a replacement flat.

Hampton's said the offer had come from another estate agency, and that this had "never happened before".

Hamptons Property Management

I have been using Hamptons, St. Albans for short term lets for over 4 years and the whole team have been absolutely brilliant. I am particularly impressed with David Whiting the property manager. He has been very responsive, professional and friendly in dealing with any of the issues at the property. He seems to have a great team of reliable and friendly contractors on call that fix all the problems quickly and professionally.
Totally recommend!!
