I have tried various independent sourdough bread makers .for ingredients, flavor , size, consistency, cut ability, taste on toasting, suitability for use with cheese ,use as croutons and occasional fried bread or eggy bread and particularly the stability of freshness once cut open. This baker has an good above standard in most the only awareness being "its not sliced !"

Lately the white sourdough bread is…
Lately the white sourdough bread is hard, too tough, I have a feeling that is not freshly baked.
I had the same feeling for the olive long bread too.
So far, I had no issue for the brown seeded bread.
I have the feeling that the company may switched to a cheaper alternative flour.
As I remember since the beginning, I am ordering from Hand Crafted Bread, they use to have better quality.
I still like the sourdough concept over yeast bread, but as I mentioned, I think the quality lower than a year ago.

Lovely fresh items
I wasnt sure what to expect from my first order but it arrived next day. The scones were so tasty and not knowing what to expect from the Crumpet loaf but it was really delicious abd would definitely recommend

Great bread
I was contacted as there was a problem with the ovens and I couldn’t get my order delivered on Saturday as arranged. My Saturday delivery charge was refunded and my items came on the following Tuesday.I received tracking and the delivery came on time and well packaged.I’ve ordered a few times and have enjoyed everything I’ve received. Will definitely be ordering again.
