We have now used this company twice for helping us out with handyman jobs around our flat for our tenants. On each occasion I have enquired over WhatsApp and received a quote within 30 minutes. Rahul was the colleague who attended our flat on both times, he was great with my tenants, polite and professional and did a great job most recently in putting back up a curtain pole that had fallen out the wall.

Handyfox provided a mixed experience. The service started off well with quick responses and timely arrangements. Handyman Ruhul was competent and took care of some tasks efficiently. However, the pricing felt steep, and some tasks were not executed perfectly, requiring intervention from another service. While the staff was generally polite, communication and issue resolution were lacking on certain occasions. Overall, an average experience that leaves room for improvement.

Communication with Taz was very good.
Waz carried out the job on a Sunday for which I was grateful.
Waz was very diligent and polite. I am very pleased with the quality of his workmanship.

Excellent service and customer care from the start to finish, Taz replied immediately and arranged for a plumber to come out the next day. Ruhul the plumber was considerate and efficient, explained the process throughout and ensured the job was completed in a timely manner. I now have a functioning flush mechanism and the whole team at Handyfox made the process way less stressful. Truly recommend Handyfox; who I have used before for another plumbing issue; and will be my go to from now on!

Phoned Handyfox with a list of tasks,received quote the same day and workman Ruhul came two days later.Ruhul went above and beyond to complete the tasks.Nice to get all jobs completed by one person instead of multiple people.Rather expensive hence not 5 stars but otherwise great.

Don’t trust Taz or handy fox. They quote for work then up their prices once half done. Their handyman wasted ages on the phone, I asked what their hourly rate was, they made something up about fixed costs then even said the inflation crisis was to blame!

Avoid at all costs.

It's been a long time since Handyfox came to reinstall my bedroom curtains in September and I wasn't sure what to write until now.
Back then I was desperate to get this work done ASAP since it was hard to sleep without curtains. And handyfox were very nice to deal with, as was the guy who came by to install them.
Unfortunately the job itself has been lacking.
First of all, when the guy came in to install the curtains - he mentioned to me he doesn't have a face mask. As someone with a vulnerable family member that meant I had to stay as far as I could from him at all times and couldn't check up on the job.
Second of all, for some reason he made a lot of holes in my wall which he didn't actually use and he just left them. Making the whole area quite ugly. He didn't cover them or clean them when he finished - just left a bunch of little holes around the curtain poles. Quite odd. When I mentioned it to him he said they can fix them next time but would I be getting this fix for free? Doubtful.
Third of all and the most annoying part, for some reason he installed the curtain poles too high. Which means the top of the curtains touch the ceiling and it makes it really hard to pull the curtain. I have to pull quite hard and I'm genuinely scared I'll pull too hard one day.
A really bad job on something that's quite simple. I was grateful Handyfox could accommodate this work so quickly at the time but I wouldn't be recommending them to others.

Handyman done the flooring very well. He was very efficient and neat and professional. I would definitely recommend this company.

Called Handyfox to unblock kitchen sink. They arrived same evening and when a 30 min job
turned into 2 hours they went the extra mile to finish that evening.
Very pleased with their work, would recommend them.

Great work. Abu who I dealt with mainly via WhatsApp, was incredibly helpful and even provided links to materials to help me see how much things would cost. I felt he was really trying to give me the best value for what I could afford. No big sell on anything. Just totally understood our budget and worked with it. Workmanship is excellent and professional. So glad I found you!

Awful company - the handyman was supposed to do a tv mounting to the wall but this was not straight at all. We had to get another company to come and finish the work properly. I got in touch with the office via WhatsApp and Email and they have not solved anything nor do they seem to care. No refund was offered or any apologies. I am really disgusted at how I have been treated and I really had the worst customer service here. Avoid this company at all cost - better to get another company and get the job done well

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY unless you want to be ripped off. I asked the owner at Handyfox for a quote to remove and replace a washing machine. The job, to a layman like me, would need the disassembly of the cupboard as the space in the bathroom was very narrow (I sent pictures with measurements). Then once the new washing machine and old dryer were replaced, the cupboard would be rebuilt and made good (plastering and painting). The quote given was "£750-950 depending on the amount of carpentry required". OK, so 2 people (washing machines are too heavy for one person and impossible to manoeuvre in the space available), 2 days, you can't paint wet plaster, the second day being a Sunday, this seemed a fair price. The engineer (Handyfoxs title for a multiskilled worker) arrived alone. He decided that he could remove the shower glass instead of the cupboard (no carpentry, a few screws and some silicone to replace it) he also used the tenants wife to help him move the machines (during Covid). In total he was there 7 hours (including lunch). The next day the machine is banging as it was not place correctly and there was a leak. I informed Handyfox and the the next week they sent the owner also the engineer to fix all the problems, which took 6 hours. Then, I received the invoice, £930 + materials (8% charge is not settled on receipt)! 1 person, no carpentry, substandard work that cost the tenants a second Saturday, all technically completed in 6 hours. Surely this is a mistake, the top end was there if there was carpentry work, so I sent the owner an email. He replied that he would ask the relationship manager. The owner of the company, customer services and engineer, needs to check with 2nd person (Handyfox is not a Ltd company). Every day I continued to receive the same invoice from Squareup, a payment company. On Thursday the owner emailed say the relationship manager says 'no'. This is the invoice, it falls within the quote, please pay. Again I raise all of my points stated above. Again, 'no' pay now and we will waive the interest fee. At this point I have paid the invoice feeling I have no alternative and do not want Handyfox to pass this off to a credit company and affect my credit score. In my opinion Handyfox take advantage of the quoting system to manipulate clients in the highest fees. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY unless you want to be ripped off.
In response to the reply. Everything written above is correct, I did not say the final work was not satisfactory, I said it took a second visit of about the same length to make it satisfactory (the first left it banging and leaking). I also stated there was no carpentry, you can argue the definition of carpentry. Had you removed and rebuilt the cupboard would you have charged more than the original quote? I did express my concerns at the time, as stated above, and, as stated above, was simply told pay the bill. As to contacting the Duty Manager, will that also be the owner/customer services/engineer? How many people actually work for Handyfox? Oh, and thanks for calling a customer who leaves a bad (and truthful) review a lier!

Handyfox are a great company. They had good communication throughout the whole process and the works were done to an amazing standard. I would highly recommend them for all handyman requirements.

Handyfox provide a very satisfactory service. I needed a number of issues in my flat fixed such as: door rehinged, kitchen tap changing and a fridge door repair. Abu, my initial point of contact was very friendly and the handyman Robert was polite, professional and worked through the issues quickly and the work was of a very good standard.
My only issue was that it took a little while to get a quote, although Abu did say they were having a busy week and apologised for the wait, making sure to always answer my emails.
I will use them again because I was pleased with the quality of work and the friendly staff.

Top worker great service can’t fault them

Great experience. I first spoke with Handyfox about our job (replace exterior door handle and up/down locks) on a Thursday and the job was completed the next Tuesday. Great turnaround from our request and also provided sensible recommendations in products to use. The team sent photos through on finishing. We will definitely use again.

Needed a handyman to perform a variety of home repairs from dishwasher, radiator and some carpentry and tile work. All comms with them were very clear and timely, both over the phone and whatsapp. The quote for service was clear and the handyman was a great professional. Great service on short notice, thanks!

Great communication and service so helpful and friendly - handyman was available within minutes to help me out with a really tricky boiler problem which needed the kitchen taken apart and put together again! Highly recommend
