I phoned 15 people yesterday of which only Jeff came back to me, he quoted and this morning he came to fix my door, on time to the minute, his quote were also acceptable and lower than I expected. Excellent Job thank you Jeff.

Vincent was very professional and was quick to assist us. All our dealings was over whatsapp and phone calls, and we didn't have any issue. Very trustworthy which is of great value these days.

Excellent and professional since l started using handymanydirect l have found it simple to get work

I paid Duran (DuraBern Electrical, a previous contractor of Handyman Direct) a total of R7k for work to my apartments.

Instead of doing the job on his own he employed someone else to do the job. He mentioned that this person had "begged him for work". This person damaged my ceiling drastically, broke the toilet seat and did a horribly untidy job.

Duran has walked away with the R7k and refuses to pay it back to me. He cannot prove how he has spent the money.

Part of the work he was supposed to perform is the reinstallation of new blinds. He could not provide any proof that blinds were purchased and has no record of any of his costs whatsoever ( I have asked numerous times and not a single receipt has been provided to date).

Upon inspection, I could see that no other work as promised by Duran had been done either. He enters rants about God when questioned.

We have entered litigation. Duran will be issued with a letter of demand and reported to the NHBRC & Consumer Protection Act council. He has been blocked from the Handyman Direct platform that promotes his business.

I advise customers not to do business with this highly unprofessional, unethical business.

Victor was a pleasure to work with...he knows what he is doing. His team were hardworking, honest and pleasant to have around. Victor replaced ceiling boards in two bedrooms, redid trusses in the roof outside and put up facia boards.
This was all done in a day and a half. I would recommend him to anybody seeking a good allrounder. Rates were good as well which makes the experience even more satisfying.

Vincent went to a great deal of trouble to repair an ongoing issue which arose from a shoddy installation by another company. His charge for the work done and the trouble taken was very reasonable. He hads also guaranteed the work done, and promised to come back for any issues that might arise. This speaks to his confidence that there would be no comeback.

Great job fixing our dining room chairs. We were hunting to find someone who could fix our imported chairs. Victor was suberb and very firendly.

I recently needed an electrician to install a new stove in home. I was connected to Munyai who made contact immediately and booked the job.

He was efficient, friendly and professional at all time. He listened to me carfeully, explained the process plus his qualification for it thoroughly. Most importantly he made an effort to be reasonable and within budget (unlike the previous electrician, Joe ,who had called for the job. What a rude, bully)

I am usually scared to make use of sites like this, but this has been such a pleasant experience. I was in need of someone to help with some odd jobs we can't do ourselves, and posted the job on handymandirect, within 20 minutes two contractors contacted me and the first one came out to assess and quote. He came back the next day to do the job and it was so professional, quick and easy to deal with. There is also admin support who followed up to make sure that I found someone to help which I think is really helpful. Would recommend and make use of this service again!
