No Good!
Their goal is to get your pre-approved loan document digitally signed in the fastest way possible. This is done while being on the phone with them and if you have any concerns or want to look over the figures and call them back apparently that’s a deal breaker and they will cancel the pre-approval and you have to start the entire application again. The application involves giving a breakdown of monthly expenses, providing drivers license and even giving bank account login username and Password (so they can run a credit check I believe). So when they called me I hadn’t even had time to open the pre-approved email document i received yet so looked while on the phone to them and there was obviously a red flag as the figures had changed from the initial estimates I received after I completed the application process and I was expected to just accept this and sign the document… they explained why my figures changed like they were reading from a script and was not at all tailored to my real personal situation. It all fell through anyway not surprised it ended this way they lured me in with figures that they had no intention of giving… then they blame my credit score which I know is actually really good, then they blame what the purchase is for as opposed to what… anything else the money would be used for. Seems like they just undercut the competition to get my application going then bump it up suddenly to try make a little extra money which then makes it no better than any other finance company. So just be prepared to deal with difficult people on the phone trying to BS you into signing your 5 year loan document immediately or else it will mystically disappear the second they hang up on you. Note: I remained friendly on the phone and just wanted to call them back tomorrow when I was feeling better, it was quite late at night and I was sick.. the guy didn’t even say goodbye just hung up.. anyway at the end of the day it wasn’t the worst loan offer but the customer service was weird and pushy and too quick to paint me as the bad guy with bad credit which all came across as BS. I guess I was just one of many applicants that day he tried to burn through. Start saving your money kids!

Most disappointing experience
Most disappointing experience with the HandyPay application for a Tindo Tesla. I was told it was a simple and easy way to finance the Tesla. Apparently, "on this occasion your application has fallen outside of our credit policy" but despite repeated requests for detail on which bits fell outside their policy, they were not met with information. The application is poorly designed with not enough attention given to provide sufficient information about financial resources. It was a most humiliating and distressing experience. I would never have applied for this method of finance if I knew this was the result. So much for a simple and easy process. It would have been a convenient way to fund the Tesla. After this experience, I did what many people do and organized payment with a bank transfer on the internet. It was much easier and quicker too. However, I am left with this unfortunate distaste.
