Had an issue with a commercial vehicle being abandoned right outside relatives property for 1 day+ at a time, but in a 1 hour max parking restriction residential area. Spent MONTHS filling in online parking contravention forms which I was told were received instantly by parking team. Eventually complained to Parking Services Manager over a lack of action i.e. visits / interest. After a year of reporting this matter, I must have filled in online form 15+ times. Never any tickets issued to the vehicle, not one, and not a single visit by parking team noticed !

Total failure is the only description. I have never witnessed such a poor and ongoing failure to deal with a simple contravention.

Hamshire Highways are most unhelpful.
The state of the road in Beaulieu caused £1000 of damage to my car wheels and tyres. It took 90 days of inefficiency to send details to their solicitor. who claimed that they were not responsible as the road was inspected 6 weeks before Total utter nonsense and now avoidance tactics hoping that i will eventually give up the claim. I wont There are similar poor stretches of road that have not been tended to. Loads of photo evidence but quite frankly having paid taxes to the county for 50 years they will try every avoidance possible to be fair when without doubt they are at fault

Problem with website preventing incident report to be submitted to claim for pot hole damage to car.
No support available.
I imagine the longer they don't fix the website the less claims they have which is why it is still not working.
Poor service now and in the past.

I am also being honest, helpful and constructive by helping HCC avoid bringing themselves into serious disrepute. I have served my beloved past Queen and Country in the Royal Navy and deserve Courtesy and Respect. However I been badly let down by Hampshire Highways who have so far refused to honour repairs to my Grade 2 Listed Thatch Cottage. The damage to my Chimney mortar flashing was 100% due to a collapsed drain/gully along Salisbury Road SP6 1LX where lorries, etc were in collusion with it and caused serious tremors/vibrations that caused the mortar flashing to break away. GUILTY by the Balance of Probabilities and Beyond All Reasonable Doubt so its time to LEVEL UP.

Been trying to get a simple highways drainage issue solved for the last 7 years without success.

If you want to leave vehicles blocking pavements and without MOTs, come to Hampshire!
Despite numerous emails, they couldn’t care less. I receive responses on behalf of Margaret Myers, the Highways Area Manager, but only to deflect responsibility to another useless department.
Multiple emails reported over the course of nearly 2 weeks, no action, no empathy, no nothing, not fit for purpose.
COME TO HAMPSHIRE IF YOU DON’T WANT TO MOT YOUR CAR, YOU CAN EVEN BLOCK THE PAVEMENTS IF YOU LIKE, THEY DON’T MIND!! You’ll save money too! Come to Hampshire!!!!!!

Best ever experience to dump household rubbish having been putting it off ... and off ... and off.
Managed a same day booking after lunch for later on that afternoon!

Sly change of parking restrictions in central Winchester. No adequate signage to car parks which have been free after 6pm forever. Fining everyone with tickets but won’t put effort into making people aware of changes. Greedy yet cannot see where any of the money is going apart from pockets.

hampshir county council dont repair footpaths along roads i have complained to them about the state of path from park lane cowplain along cherry tree avenue lower end several times they say their is nothing wrong with it but it is bumpy has hollows in it and makes it difficult for disable people to walk along it on friday i fell over on path near the post box i am concidering sueing them prehaps they would take notice then

They and all the borough councils have sold a lot off in communities for personal gain. They have installed parking meters on beaches and other locations that should be free to visit. This has caused members of the public to mentally decline severely since covid.

They have overcrowded communities and roads by building everywhere possible.

They have driven businesses out of town centers and deliberately left these locations to become unsightly. No doubt they are planning to build apartments for the wealthy where shops and places of interest used to be.

Charging for garden waist collection when they already extort even the disabled and mentally unwell for more council tax than they can realistically afford, without any services assisting these individuals to stay well and manage financially.

Every charity or mental health organisation is supported financially with over taxed tax and by the government . Yet everyone of these organisations are a dead end making a profit.

If you contact Hampshire county council's adult services department you better be prepared to be received within discrimination, inappropriate conversations and neglect. That also leads absolutely nowhere.

Constantly members of the public are being offered universal credit by all of the above organisations. We are prevented from getting ahead in order to create a divide. They keep us poor and unwell so they can take from us, thrive on us and generally abuse us.

This is why they don't take calls anymore, the GP services are a disgrace, we are overrun with wheelie bins stinking up communities, wildlife and ourselves are suffering with nowhere to go and way too much traffic, no dentists, no income, they tell us to work at home, no places of beauty for free, no mentally health service, no professionals, no justice, no justification, homelessness, phoney recession creating further financial divide.

Even on the back of a council tax bill it states courts will not take into consideration your circumstances even if you are having a breakdown or need a constant ventilator. Even if your kid was murdered and you have hit rock bottom. They leave it up to the local authority tax department to decide if you should receive a discount or full exception and you won't. Trust me I have been in this situation and my local council tax officer asked me if they helped me what was in it for them!

My local council and county council are 100% not pulling their wait to assist members of public. They are clearly only helping themselves. I have received some of the most inappropriate allegations and appalling treatment in writing from my local council in the passed. And when asked "why bully me and try to frighten me and harras ?" They said " it's only allegations" why have the police do it as well then and post these through my door? Because I don't own my home and I complained about harassment from someone who did. They even let her paint the fence on my side! If that wasn't aggressive bullying what is! They joined forces with my corrupt landlords and they all bullied me. I have lived in disrepair and had no heating or hot water for the majority of 23 years and my local council know this, but they are in the pockets of housing associations.

Basically people working in, housing associations, councils and government in general all started out up to no good in life. They jumped in each others pockets, replaced charities with their kind of people, or created those charities, replaced GP and dental services with individuals with little education and same mindset and so on. They gave each other a public face, a reference and a way to justify public spending.

When every dead end organisation offers to help you apply for universal credit regardless of whether some individuals are well enough to endure reviews or not. You will face discrimination from all benefit sectors staff. Not just a passing derogatory comment, but they will screw with you for their own gratification. They will treat you like garbage and cause you to suffer from poverty and exasperated poor health.

You will not receive assistance with any living costs including public transportation or prescriptions. You will not receive assistance with utility costs that local authorities hand out a couple of times a year. You will not be able to get discount at the overpriced council owned leisure centres for mental wellness. Absolutely nothing is what you will get if you do not allow yourself to be subjected to discriminate, a decline in health,bullying, being a constant scapegoat for their behaviour. And you will not be classed as in need and will not be exempt from council tax or anything else that is serverly trashing your life.

When you do get classed as having permanent mental health issues and or a disability they have you.

HCC and the directors responsible for signing off roadworks and road closures in and around Bordon, Whitehill and Lindford areas are nothing but total incompetents. They cleary have absolutely no clue on forward planning or foresight of the impact their idiotic permit sign offs have on local businesses and the local community. How these clowns continue to be employed is beyond me. Council tax payers expect competent and wise people to run their local councils. Hampshire highways dept are obviously incapable of doing this considering the total inconvenience and cost they are causing to our local communities.
Shame on these incompetent clowns.

On the 2nd February 2021 I successfully prosecuted Hampshire County Council for damage incurred by a pothole. I was able to prove that they had: fabricated evidence, falsified records and lied on statutory declarations. As a result, they didn't attend court but paid a barrister to concede on their behalf. Despite this expensive (for the taxpayer) lesson, they don't appear to have addressed their intrenched internal dishonesty !

Absolutely shocking! Simple. Taxes and charges must be going into the bosses pockets! Untreated roads during icy weather causing accidents. Roads covered in potholes everywhere! What are we all paying for. Everyone at the top, who run this council should be sacked.

One star is one too many. Zero stars. This is a failing Council. I made a simple request and offered to pay. KEEP CLEAR for a frequently misused turning bay. My questions were ignored, I was manipulated and moulded into the ridged structure, which tried to take away from me all semblance of my right to negotiate openly and freely. HCC is afraid. This Council feels safer if it shuts down any chance of dissent. Bad – 100% Trustpilot. Shame on you Chief Executive.
