It was a simple order - just a couple of seals for my E61group head m/c. They were out of stock at the time - communication was good - refund or wait options. When they were in stock they were despatched and arrived ahead of the quoted delay.

I've been buying HappyDonkey's Italian blend beans for years and they are consistently excellent in flavour and for value. First-class service at all times from Scott and his team too.

*Edit responding to sellers comment - You responded to me, by email, 22 minutes after this review was published and 49 minutes after my second email, the evidence being the timestamps on all emails. It was only then, after you had read the review that you added the excuses about delivery today, phone issues and the rest. My review is factually correct and can be verified by Trustpilot should the need arise.
Accusing your customer of lying, and then lying youtself does not seem to be the best way forward.
Furthermore, overreaction? You have left me in the mess, due to your mistakes and then instead of offering to help just insult me.

Original Review:

I ordered an item, for my coffee mad brother's birthday, at 08.30 Monday morning. I wrote a nice message on the order informing this company that the item was for a present. This item was, and still is showing as in stock.

The shipping I paid for states that most items arrive within 3 days. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and 5 days later, having not received anything, I called the company, twice, no response. As the present is to be given tomorrow I needed to deal with this quickly.

So I emailed the company asking for their urgent help. This was responded to with an email stating that they do not have these items in stock and will not for at least 14 days.

I decided to call them as I thought this would be the most direct and simple way to resolve the issue. The line rang but was not picked up. Eventually someone picked up, but then proceeded to hang up on me! After repeated calling I thought maybe I should email.

I emailed, asking them call me urgently so we could resolve the situation (reminding them that it is a present).

They do not reply. They do not call. In total I have called them 13 times, crazy I know but this is urgent!

Absolutely disgusting behaviour. Now I am left in a mess and do not have a present for my brother's birthday. Thanks Happy Donkey, never again.

I've used HappyDonkey on numerous occasions for beans, grinders and coffee making accessories. They have a huge product range, fast shipping and their staff (particularly Scott) go well above and beyond to help out. Highly recommended!
