Disappointing experience with their service team
I had a very disappointing experience with this product and the company. The formula caused a burning sensation on my scalp along with persistent itchiness, making it uncomfortable to use.
When I tried to cancel and request a refund, the process was frustrating and unnecessarily complicated. I was required to go through multiple steps, including shipping back the unused product, and communication was limited to email or their website—there’s no easy or direct way to get support.
What made the experience worse was the amount of back-and-forth required just to cancel and return the product, which took several days. If their customer service process were more straightforward and responsive, I likely wouldn’t have felt the need to leave this review.

We also sincerely apologize for the difficulties you encountered when trying to cancel and request a refund. We understand how important it is to have a simple, responsive support experience. To clarify, we do offer a full refund once the product is returned to us, but we recognize that the process you described felt overly complicated and required too much back-and-forth.

This company has superior customer service. Allergies? They’ll custom make a formula to avoid them. Product not working anymore, after X months or years? They change it. Call them? You get someone thoughtful, kind & knowledgeable. Highly recommend. Other similar companies may be less expensive but you’re just an order number there, not a patient. These guys deliver. Plus, their products work. Avoid everyone else and go with Happy Head. I quit and tried 2 other well-known companies that I won’t name here, and I’m sorry I did. One gave me terrible allergies from heavy fragrance and the other, which offers monthly membership at half the price, had no customization. The products I tried gave me rashes. If you want quality and success, use Happy Head. Glad I came back.

Was told I could cancel easily online since they wanted to prescribe not what I requested but what I already had a prescription for that wasn’t working took hours. Better off going to a real doctor same amount of time and they’ll do labs and answer questions.

Happy Head, I believe, is the best of all the hair treatment services out there as I’ve tried them all. They work with you on budget if necessary as well as formula transition. All reps have been helpful and great to talk with.The product worked great even for an older person who doubted I could show any growth.
