Got a sapele chopping board which looks and feels great. Looking forward to many years of use from it!

I emailed Graham after having a horrible experience trying to have a custom chopping board made using an international seller on Etsy.

I wanted a board on the larger/thicker side of things, with one of his more elaborate wood patterns. He responded very quickly and with the price. His communication was enough of an incentive, I decided to order the board I wanted, and a second one as a gift for a family member.

I was regularly updated with the progress pictures, and prompted to decide on my preferences throughout the creation process which I thought was a great touch.

The boards are beautiful, so much so that I ordered a third, slightly smaller one for myself!

I should have decided to find a great UK craftsman in the first place, and I'm glad I did in the end! You will not be disappointed ordering from Graham!

Graham is an absolute wizard with wood! He was communicative throughout the custom board design process, shipped the boards with such care, and even went above and beyond in helping me with board care and maintenance. The boards are stunning and I will cherish them for a very long time.

Beautiful wooden chopping board - aesthetically pleasing and extremely useful at the same time!

Graham made a really gorgeous maple butcher's block chopping board with walnut highlights for us. My wife asked for a chopping board for Christmas (not something to even be suggested otherwise!) as our old one was completely worn. Once I had explained exactly what I had in mind (dimensions, colour, a lip at the front to sit on the counter edge, handles, engraving, etc), Graham worked through all the options and details with me, to help select the woods, advise on depth, radius of the bevelled edges, etc and was very patient with my questions and my requests about the positioning and font for the engravings. He even sent a couple of pictures to show progress in the construction (also fascinating to see examples of the whole process on their YouTube channel). The result is beautiful - we even had to get past the feeling it was too good to actually use! - but we all enjoy using it now, and it should last generations. Cannot recommend highly enough.

The Sapele End Grain Chopping Board looks and feels amazing!

I ordered an end grain Cherry wood chopping board for my partner’s birthday. Really beautifully constructed board that is nice to display in the kitchen and a pleasure to use.
My partner is very happy with it and is pleased at how well it seems to resist knife marks. Hopefully he can use it for many years to come.
My order arrived promptly and I was frequently updated on the progress of the order.

The item is an end grain hardwood cutting board wrapped like a baby in a cot. Excellent packaging and all was recyclable. The quality of the board was exceptional. I enjoy handling objects of such high quality, both workmanship and ascetic. How can I use a Japanese cutting knife, one so sharp, on the surface of this board?
