I put an appealing straight away did not get a reply untill November when I got issued 195 pounds letter.
online I wrote and said I didn't get the first appeal decision since then i have written 15 times online asking him to contact me giving my number my email everything today they .Notice of Rejection letter was sent to the same address as the Charge Certificate on 04/11/2024 which i did not get ...so now i ahve paid it as i don't need the stress and the Threat of Bailey's coming.I'm chronically Sick and Disabled and this is the haringay they treat you i contacted tham many tims i can see in the key facts there are 36 key events they said today in first email, The Council has not received any notification that this documentation was not received, then may be they need to read all my repley to tham on there web site they run which is the only way to send tham a message...if any one nos how i can appeal what has happened please let me know be greatly appreciated ps they was not a speeding ticket..i went down then wrong street in woodgreen that i have never been to at nite

Disgusting

Disgusting, even now while I speak I'm waiting nearly 2 hour to pick up the phone ,even thou I have been position one fir a hour lol.
A real joke service, treat them with respect they keep saying lol

Haringey council is operating in violation of the law.

1. Homes For Haringey has developed a reputation characterized by frustration and inefficiency. The performance of the staff is notably disappointing, as they often do not adhere to scheduled appointments. When one requests a repair, it is advisable to expect a lengthy wait; appointments are generally set at least two weeks in advance, unless the situation is classified as urgent, such as issues related to gas or electricity. Even on the day of the scheduled appointment, punctuality is not guaranteed; it is not unusual to receive a casual phone call asking for a rescheduling. Moreover, in cases where staff do arrive, repairs are rarely completed on the same day. For example, a simple task like fixing a leaking pipe, which a skilled plumber could resolve in just 10 to 20 minutes, frequently stretches over several days with this organization.

Worst council in London

Worst council in London. They added a 50% surcharge to a bill, before they sent me the bill.
You cant talk to anyone and it is simply a money grab.

Hillcrest

Our lift broke on the17 of august fire brigade attended and disconnected power reported to council on 17 reported numerous times since can not get a satisfactory answe,r from Haringey for when this will be fixed told it would be fixed on 27 no luck can not get through on phone ( no big surprise) I live on sixth floor79 years old my partner77 our neighbour 85 on the fourth floor win is 98and goes out most days but can not now go out as can not attempt stairs back up I have never used I pad before so not sure this will help solve dowding house lift problem if this does not work Please send food parcel to flat25

Haringey very effective harassing me for taxes but you cannot speak to anyone

First of all, Haringey is the most expensive and complicated council and its customer service is utterly rubbish, since you are unable to speak to a living human being. The problem, we will be moving on 30-August-2024 and the Council keeps on harassing us trying to collect their "taxes" from us until March 2025!!! actually they owed us money....will I ever get it back from this "institution"?

Unprofessional

Inflexible, unhelpful, automated service which is clearly structured on financial leverage over customer service. Disappointing and unprofessional service. Would not use again and instead use my energy to find another way.

Haringey is the most expensive and…

Haringey is the most expensive and worst customer service council I’ve ever lived in and I’ve lived previously in Camden, Islington, Westminster and Fulham. I always managed to talk to them and sort any issues. It is impossible to get hold of Haringey, they don’t reply to any emails nor phone calls and just pretend to get things sorted through letters. When after 4 months I managed to get through someone they denied all responsibility because they sent letters although they still didn’t reply to any of my emails nor pick up the phone.

Totally unhelpful customer service

Haringey council is a joke especially when it comes to reporting repairs! I have 2 jobs booked with them, one to fix broken roof tiles and another to replaster my badly flaking ceiling. I have been given dates of June and July for both! Wth! Can’t believe there is nothing sooner. I have a whole flock of dirty disgusting pigeons making themselves at home in my loft as they’re flying in through the roof. I’m now on the phone to repairs to report a leaking pipe in my bathroom (my house is just falling to bits!!) and I keep getting a “sorry we’re unable to take your call” and call goes dead. This has been going on from this afternoon! Totally unprofessional unacceptable customer service. Why am I paying £700 a month rent for to live in a property that needs urgent maintenance !!!

Absolutely useless Council

Absolutely useless Council. I just tried to call them today for an issue with my Council tax: I live on my own and am eligible for the 25% discount. That discount has been applied for years, but I was sent the full bill without the discount.
I tried to phone.. and got the usual "You have 9 options, now you have 6 options". I kept navigating the phone maze and pressed "I want to speak to someone".. and got "Sorry we are busy, cannot take your call, go online, we are sending you a link!!!

1. Why are they removing my discount with no reason?
2. Why do I have to waste my time phoning/ going online when they should just keep the discount..
This is outrageous. Absolutely useless council.

PS- Not the first time I am trying to get hold of them and can never get through.

I had a appointment with Haringey…

I had an appointment with Haringey council customer service at the library in Wood Green today. I was trying to have my blue badge changed to my new vehicle. I had an issues with the council web page, contact page was not working. A very nice lady called Florence made me an appointment last week so I did not have to wait for ages to be seen. I have mobility issues and have several appointments at the hospital and 2 operations soon, so I needed to get change the blue badge from my last car to my new one ASAP.
When I was called over to talk to the man at customer service, I explained that I needed to show proof of the v5 logbook in my name and address and I have taken pictures on my phone to show as I am unable to email them in as web page was not working.
The gentleman explained I will need to speak to someone else and called a Eastern European lady to talk to me. I explained again why I had this appointment and that I was told to show the documents on my phone to show them as proof. As soon as I explained and tried to show the documents to this woman, she said I can not except the pics as proof, I was told I needed to show the physical ones instead. Even though it was okay to send them in by email. I explained I had called last week and I was told it was ok to do so and arranged this appointment to do so.
I explained I am only doing what I was told to on the phone. This woman instantly gave me a dirty look and turned her back to me and walked off back to her desk. I said I am still speaking to you why have you turned your back on me and walked away. At this point the first gentleman I spoke to suddenly interjected and said I will find you a manager to talk to, which I replied thank you.
30 seconds later I then spoke to a manager called Delroy who apologised and said I would not be happy if I was treated like that. I explained I was not rood to her in any way and just wanted to change over my blue badge to my new vehicle. Plus the first gentleman had witnessed this womans ignorant behaviour and arranged for me to speak to a manager
It took this manager called Delroy just 7 minutes to send my documents pictures to the appropriate department and resolve my issue with the bluebadge change.
Their are a few people at Haringey council who have no respect for their tenants, and this lady was definitely one of them. This woman had a Disgusting attitude with me even though I was polite at all times. Delroy thank you your a gentleman. Regards Christopher C

Homes For Haringey , 🤥🤣 what a joke what a shameless cowboy peoples working for this organisation, disgraceful behaviour never come on time, God forbid if you call them for a repair something in your property , they make an appointment at least for next 2 weeks after you report to them unless if something very emergency like gas or electric problems , when your appointment it's come they will never come on time or you will receive a strange phone call forcing you to reschedule it for another time in a very casual way like nothing was happened😡😡😡 even if they keep their appointment they will never fix your repair on the same day they just do it purposely., for instance job like licking the pipe its 10 to 20 minutes job for proper plumber , but for those clowns it needs days.

Haringey council online parking is still a shambles

Haringey's online system for buying visitor parking permits is not fit for purpose. I have had to spend over an hour each time I want to buy a visitor permit (which I am entitled to as a resident). I've had a range of error messages. Firstly that I did not meet the criteria, I had to ring to get this sorted out. Then it wouldn't accept my card, my bank has no idea why. Then after putting another card in, I couldn't activate the tickets for the right time slot. It turns out there's a semi colon in the time!!! Altogether appalling. And customer services kept suggesting the problem was with me. I have written a complaint and asked about digital exclusion. Even if you have access to the internet and are perfectly competent it's almost impossible to do anything if the online services are not working properly.

Bulky waste collection

One star for the pricing
Phoned today to arrange collection for
One bunk bed, with two mattresses
Frame broken down.
One garden bench
One garden swing.
And a single bed frame
Now me thinking a bed is a bed, frame and mattress. And all four items should be twenty pounds.
But no.. Iam informed each mattress for the bunk is separate as is the frame. So that's three items there.
Come on now that's a big reason there for individuals to fly tip.

I received a ticket

I received a ticket, ZNO5582692 i paid £65 within 3 days and my penalty increased Which was £190. I was shocked were living in 2023 and they were asking me to pay more money, and i had all the proof that i paid the money. Be careful when you pay, you should keep a record
