Knowledgeable and approachable…

Knowledgeable and approachable psychiatrist Dr Rajput. Process was easy from start to finish. Very reasonably priced in my opinion. Happy to receive swift diagnosis and helpful support advice.

I had a wonderful experience with two…

I had a wonderful experience with two brilliant Psychiatrists. Could not fault them at all, they were very understanding and totally knew where I was coming from. The only reason that I didn’t give 5 stars was the price. really don’t know how they justify this.

I wish I had of read these reviews…

I wish I had of read these reviews sooner. My partner has been diagnosed with severe adult ADHD by this scamming company which cost him nearly £700.00. When it came to getting the medication you are up against a brick wall, they do everything in their power to prevent you from getting this. My partner just called them and their receptionist told us to ignore the reviews (after he expressed his deep concerns) and that they have very happy clients. Not sure I believe this. We asked for the medication (which we will pay for) and was then told they only diagnose they don't prescribe. This, we know is not true, as previous complainers are stating they had been charged over £90 a month for their medication. My partner who is clearly unwell needs this medication and is now in a crisis thinking he has been scammed by the very people who were there to help him, sad to say I think he has been too. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - the staff are just putting the phone down on him when he calls. I have reported them to the GMC.

Recommend Dr Shankar

Dr Ramesh Shankar as he has been a fantastic support over these last few months. He has been professional and empathetic all throughout our
appointments and never fails to address any worries I might have andput my mind at ease concerning
managing my ADHD and treatment through
medication. I would happily recommend him to anyone else seeking help with ADHD and I really appreciate the time and effort he has put in to
ensure the treatment process goes as smoothly as possible.

For the sake of your health

For the sake of your health, avoid Harley Psychiatrists at all costs. They have an utter lack of empathy or respect for their patients. The fact that they are allowed to provide mental health services to vulnerable people with no regulation is absolutely appaulling. They are not based in a London clinic as they like to advertise. They are actually a call centre in Scotland, misleading people in the very first instance. Because of this, if you are lucky to somehow get through to someone, they have absolutely no clue how to handle your issue and they have no management or levels of authority. I called up to 100 times with an urgent matter and it seemed that especially after raising my concerns about them, they refused to answer the phone or respond to emails. Yet they are happy to contact you promptly when they want to take payment.

I have spent thousands to have access to much needed health care, only for them to drop me from the service when questioning their responsibility. They fail to provide the correct and necessary documentation for you to get an emergency prescription from the doctor eventually leading you to run out of your medication and withdraw very severely. When asking for the CORRECT prescription to be sent on an urgent basis so i did not withdraw from serious ADHD medication, they emailed me saying i was trying to extort medical professionals for prescriptions, and then threatened that this could be a criminal offence. I never did such thing, just simply asked for the correct medication with the correct dose to be sent in a reasonable timely manner so my health was not affected by their incompetence to complete administrative tasks.

They also blocked my prescription at the pharmacy until i spent another £200 to speak to the psychiatrist for half an hour, again for a dosage that was already agreed upon during a previous appointment. They take advantage of vulnerable people who need access to medical care, people who chose to go privately, yet treat you with a complete lack of compassion.

They send emails with the wrong name on and generally have no clue who you are or how to help your issue when you call. Just a horrible experience and quite astonishing how they treat people. I am now out of pocket thousands of pounds and no better off for it. I would in fact say that they made my health worse. They are not regulated by anyone either.

I would avoid, assessment was great but after that, no support / don’t answer emails

I went with Harley Psychiatrists for an ASD Assessment after being recommend for assessment by my therapist at the time. The waiting time on the NHS is anything from 2-4 years plus, and this was the cheapest I could afford with PayPal’s pay in 3 instalments.

The assessment was booked and done in a few days and I can’t fault the experience there, the psychiatrist I spoke to was great, very thorough, and explained everything to me.

Unfortunately however, this is where the positive experiences end. I had emailed them multiple times before my assessment, querying if they had had all the documents, and whether or not I could pay extra for a more substantial report, however no one got back to me. (But the Assessment went so well I left it).

I recently tried to contact them again, no response. I had to message them via their messaging system on their website. I added my email address rather than phone number so that I could communicate via email rather than over the phone. I had a missed call from them. I since emailed them again asking if they could respond via email, but again, no response.

This is causing me so much stress, as I have been told I need an extra detailed letter that I can submit as evidence to my University so that I can access their support (Which it states online that they provide more detailed reports for an extra fee) - no response.

I was hoping to go with them for an ADHD assessment (also recommended) but am deciding against it now.

They also stated it would take up to 2 weeks for a letter to be posted to myself and my GP. It took more like 3 to 4, the letter itself just states the confirmation diagnosis and not much else, which was sent to my via email and not via post like I was hoping. They haven’t sent the letter to my GP, as they don’t have an email address, even though I have now sent them the postal address twice.

For the amount of money spent, and for people like myself that struggle, I don’t think this is worth it. I wish I could have afforded a more reputable company and I just feel deflated.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

How is this company still providing a service! They have taken £685 of my wife's money, diagnosed her with ADHD. Prescribing medication at £97 per month. They then forwarded on an incorrect report stating no medication. They now want a follow up appointment at £195 to prescribe the next month of medication. Weeks of requesting the report get corrected for my wife's GP resulted in it will only be changed if we pay the £195 follow up fee! These are scamming vulnerable people and have now left my wife without medication she needs. This company is a money making SCAM and need to be stopped! AVOID at all costs!

Please AVOID Harley Psychiatrists

Please AVOID Harley Psychiatrists. The admin team are extremely dismissive and have no concept they are dealing with vulnerable people. I have to chase many times every month for my prescription to be sent out and have run out of medication because of their tardiness. I have been lied to about my prescription being sent when it hadn't. This exacerbates any anxiety issues. After your 1st appointment it's almost impossible to get hold of the admin team by phone or email. I'm trying to get a shared agreement sorted but I've been chasing for weeks now and nothing has happened. But they are very quick to contact you for your next (expensive) appointment. The aftercare is non existent. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Please don’t trust Harley…

Please don’t trust Harley Psychiatrists! They are operating unethically and illegally! They exploit vulnerable people looking for neurological help. Take thousands of pounds. Then cut you off. No treatment, no meds, no response. If you have been a victim of their system then contact the ICO, CQC, GMC and a solicitor.

I wish I could give 0 stars. AVOID AT ALL COST

Appalling customer service and extremely unprofessional approach. 24hrs before assessment review session for results they flagged another questionnaire was needed which had already been explained was unattainable. They stated it was process and necessary, accused me of being difficult and abusive when i stated its not possible t get the questionnaire they need and this had been explained before payment, they offered to cancel the process with a full refund and its now been 4 weeks of non communication, I have called every week for an update and told that someone will look at it and come back to me ... still waiting

Crooks taking advantage of vulnerable people

First of all you should know that Harley called and asked me to do a review and if they liked it enough they would give me a £50 discount on my next visit so please take the positive reviews with a grain of salt.

These people are crooks taking advantage of people in poor mental health and witholding care based on how you review them online.

I gave them a 1* review on Google per the advice in other reviews to spur them to action to send my notes to my GP. I finally *finally* got them do do that (note, the notes are quite vague and way shorter than one would expect from any care much less private). I have run out of medication through all this butthey have "closed my account" and are refusing care--including medication-- because I left them a bad review. This means I had to cold turkey off my medication after a couple months because I stopped being a bag of money for them. I will be making a formal complaint but am waiting to do so in case I can actually get care.

Please avoid this so-called "clinic".
I contacted them for an ASD assessment. They were super kind at the beginning, answering even on Sundays. They took my money (almost £700) and sent me like seven questionnaires to do before the assessment.
During the assessment, the doctor, who did not specialise in neuroscience or ASD, asked me stereotypical questions about autism (for example, "do you understand jokes or sarcasm?").and did not read all my questionnaires.
It took me ages to receive the letter after the diagnosis because there are only 5 pages on my personality and my past (all things that I mentioned here during the assessment and that I already know). She did not read the questionnaires, and she claims that I do not have certain traits, when in fact I do. She did not observe me during the video call, as she said I maintained eye contact, when in fact I did not, and in the rare case I did, I might have been masking. She excluded that I might be autistic, when in fact I took a lot of autidiagnosis tests (one of them was the one that eventually the doctor asked me to complete before the assessment) in which I scored as autistic.
At the end, the doctor excluded that I am autistic. She did not explain why.
She wrote that I might have ADHD and she suggested making an appointment at her clinic for an assessment.
Oh who, so that I will have to pay a further £700.
How nice.
You should be ashamed of yourself.
It is not like I want to be autistic. I just wanted answers and I wanted it to be taken seriously by so-called "professionals".
Unbelievable

Very disappointed with end result

When I contacted Harley Psychiatrists, the process was prompt and smooth. I had 2 video sessions with 2 nice clinicians who diagnosed me.
Since then I cannot get any answers concerning my appropriate medication.
I was told that the psychiatrist had to contact my cardiologist to ensure meds would be safe for me, I e mailed my cardiologist who said he would look out for the e mail, but I can't get any answers about whether he has been contacted. It's been months and 4 e mails to Harley's and I've heard nothing, I feel like they don't care now they have my money!!

Don't waste your money!

I've basically spent a lot of money with this lot to get messed around.
I went to them for an ADHD assessment as the NHS waiting list was so long. Assessment was fine and I spoke to the psychiatrist about meds.
He seemed helpful and after a couple of appointments which cost £195 and barely lasted 5 minutes he offered to let me use the Skype chat to update him.
This was fine at first but it became clear that he was getting less interested and he was forgetting what we'd already tried and the doses I was on so sent me the wrong (not cheap!) doses of the medication.
He finally stopped replying to me at all, and when I contacted the office they said he didn't work for them anymore. I told them I was out of meds but all they did was offer me an appointment with another doctor, which I would have to wait nearly a month for.
So I've had to titrate myself off the meds too quickly because I didn't have enough left which has been horrendous. I've asked to submit a complaint but they didn't respond. Finally I've asked them to send a record of all of the medication to my GP and they sent the initial assessment and initial drug I was prescribed, which was ages out of date and my doctor already had.
So yeah, I'd probably steer clear of this lot if I were you!

An embarrassment to healthcare

An embarrassment to healthcare

I have just edited my review, over 1 year after first posted. Just to let everyone know that Harley psychiatrist tried to report it/take it down but I sent my proof to trustpilot to verify.
They do the same with Google reviews - their rating is completely fake as they cherry pick what stays on.

An absolute disgrace of a company

An absolute disgrace of a company. If you care about your self or your family do not go anywhere near them. I had an appoitment booked for 3 months for my daughter. Having been told by this company that they were happy to treat her. They then called 3 months after the appoinment was made and cancelled one hour before the appointment was due to start. They infomed me that they cannot help her. It is clear that when the appoinment was booked and paid for they didnt even bother to read the detailed notes I provided about my daughter. A very unprofessional company who have now created more problems for my daughter and put her treatment back by 3 months. If I could sue them I would. Be very carefull of these cowboys. I am happy to share my experience with anyone who is unsure. I am an honest, caring and rational person but have been treated appallingly. They clearly do not care.
