From start to finish my experience with Harley Street Hair Transplant Clinic has been five star. Sara and her team have been amazing, always being just a call, text or virtual meeting away with any questions I had along the way. After uploading initial photos of my hair loss I was able to discuss with Sara where I envisioned my hairline to be. She was fully supportive and managed to get me a cancellation appointment in the Manchester (Bury) clinic where Dr Aziz Elgindi completed my surgery. While initially daunting, the surgery went incredibly smoothly, and on the day you are able to pick where you want your hairline to sit. The surgery was pain free and the aftercare appointments are a great bonus of getting your transplant at this surgery. I was able to drive the following day and return to work after two weeks with no scabbing. Now, 6 months after the surgery, the transplanted areas have grown to a length nearing the bottom of my forehead achieving results I did not think were possible in this timeframe. Additional prescriptions to ensure hair is not lost from the crown area are available and are definitely worth it to ensure that your hair remains looking full in the non-transplanted areas - they even thickened up my hair in areas I hadn’t realised had thinned. Thanks again to Sara, Dr Elgindi and their team! Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking about it.

From the original enquiry to the day of the surgery and the aftercare process, I cannot speak highly enough of the service and expertise provided. From the outset they made sure that I was completely aware of all aspects of the procedure before, during and after the surgery. As a nice touch they also organised overnight accommodation for me since I was travelling from Glasgow. Surgery itself was carried out by Dr Ditta and his team. They were professional, polite and courteous and made me feel very at ease. In fact I thoroughly enjoyed my day in the surgery and although the procedure takes most of the day, it was stress and pain free and they even bought me lunch. Dr Ditta again explained all aspects of the procedure throughout the day and constantly made sure I felt no pain. Following surgery the after care process was explained with a kit provided and access to an online aftercare area that explained the day to day actions I was required to follow. This was very straight forward too and pain following procedure was pretty much non existent. I would like to thanks Dr Ditta once again for being so friendly and courteous and for putting me at ease throughout. I would very much recommend.

I've had a wonderful experience with the Harley Street team. Every person I have spoken to has been exceptional in their support, knowledge and guidance. Additionally being openly gender non-conforming myself, the inclusive support of the entire team has made an otherwise worrying and possibly stressful experience feel completely supportive and comfortable.

It was an outstanding experience from start to finish.
Naturally, I was unsure on which organisation to choose for the procedure, but HSHTC came across as professional and caring, as well as having a wide range of availability.
There are negative reviews on all businesses, and this drives customers like myself away. However, something told me this would likely be someone with unrealistic expectations, or not reading into the procedure as a whole. I chose to ignore the negatives and read the positives.
Sara the coordinator was absolutely amazing! She outlined everything and made it clear of what is expected and what is not. After a great consultation, I was passed to the next stage of meeting surgeon Dr Ditta. He presented extremely knowledgeable and passionate about what he does, so I decided to go ahead with the procedure.
The surgery day was expected to be a long, but rewarding day. It started with having to shave my head (mandatory requirement for this procedure). I’d say to anyone the thought is worser than the event, and to just do it for the positives that will follow. Dr Ditta and his team were extremely caring and sensitive, especially with briefing before any painful situations pre anaesthetic. After that, I was allowed to top up when requested and leave them to do what they do best. The day as a whole was enjoyable and interesting to speak to the team to learn more about the procedure and get to know them. Lunch was provided (yay). It was lovely of them to offer, and you definitely need to eat mid procedure to keep energy levels. At the end of the day, I was given clear instruction of how to have the best success rate. It was through a video and in person. If you have questions, ask as it’s what the team is there for.
The first few days of recovery can be quite awkward and uncomfortable, but I’d recommend booking 2 weeks off work to fully recover and let the grafts set. Once you get use to the sleeping situation, it’s easy and a lovely break from reality (put pillows below your knees and stack below head for pure comfort!). The aftercare products was extremely useful and easy to use.
The grafts will fall out after a few weeks, it’s expected and you’re told this plenty of times!! Having a healthy lifestyle makes your hair grow quicker and thicker, so swap your diet to good healthy hair foods. When your transplanted hair grows back, it’s an amazing feeling, but only the beginning. As the months pass by, you’ll notice a massive improvement.
During this process, you’ll have regular aftercare and the chance to raise any concerns. I personally didn’t have any issues and was just grateful to still be in contact and told everything is going as it should. I’m 6 months post surgery and I’m seeing the benefits hugely, and it’s not even reached maximum results yet, as this is one year.
Thanks for an amazing service!

Its been 3 weeks since FUE surgery and though full results are expected 12-18 months, I can comment on the great experience so far.
Sara has been great at communicating and checking in before and after the treatment, making sure I am educated and have no concerns or queries. Also I had a virtual meeting with the surgeon Dr Ditta who was fantastic in informing me of the process and what would be best for my goals.
On the day of surgery, Dr Ditta was top tier at being patient cantered, calm and professional. We went over my new hairline design and then moved in to the operating room to meet the team who were all very nice and kind throughout the 8 hour procedure/day. I had a discrete procedure so only the donor and recipient area were shaved so I could hide my operation quicker, when safe to do so.
The anaesthetic application was the most painful part which is a common report yet its very brief and over quick. Dr Ditta checks in regularly, always explaining the next step and you feel involved in the procedure and conversation. A mid way break occurred where food was ordered in for my dietary needs which was nice. After the procedure Dr Ditta explains the aftercare process which is nice and if you feel you wont remember there is a very well designed video and PDF series supplied to review the plan.
After 2 weeks you're sort of back to normal other than the look of a partially shaved head and being mindful of the sun and no swimming. Pretty much everything occurred as the aftercare plan stated it would, with swelling reducing and scabs falling. Though the team are there if needed should you fall out this window and have concerns.
Right now I am in the shedding stage before the new hairs start growing in. I will update my review at a later date but so far its been great, with my partner and family being very impressed. A receding hairline has been a niggling concern of mine for 10 years and I'm looking forward to not having to worry anymore thanks to Dr.Ditta and the Harley Street Hair Transplant Clinics team.

My experience with the HSHT clinic has been nothing but fantastic, i firstly had an online consultation with Sara after sending in some pictures of the problem area and was guided and informed about all the information i would require to have the surgery
Following on from this i had a consultation with Dr Ditta who guided me through what would occur on the surgery day and helped put my worries at ease, and on the surgery day himself and his team were amazing and helpful.
Im now just post 2 weeks since the surgery and have had my post 2 weeks follow up consultation with the team, that has been greatly appreciated in the knowledge that they will track your progress and keep an eye on your results over the coming year.
I cant fault the team at all and will recommend to others

I saw Dr. Elgindi 6 months ago and he advised me to commence finasteride and topical minoxidil instead of a hair transplant. This was after speaking to three other clinics that offered me a hair transplant deeming me a suitable applicant. I now have a full head of hair without surgery. Thank you again to HSHTC for the honest advice.

The whole process was professional from start to finish, and I was kept informed at every stage. The procedure itself was straightforward and the recovery was smooth.
The pain you imagine beforehand is far worse than the reality. The staff were brilliant throughout and made the entire experience far more comfortable than expected.
I’d highly recommend HSHTC to anyone considering a hair transplant.

Would highly recommend! Everything went very smoothly, communication was excellent throughout. I travelled from Edinburgh to Manchester for the procedure and all travel and accommodation costs were covered. Dr Ditta explained everything clearly and delivered clear and detailed post-op instructions. I was delighted with the whole experience and results so far are very promising!

My experience with Harley Street Hair Clinic has been nothing short of outstanding. From the very first consultation and pre-surgical procedure, the level of care, support, and attention to detail was exceptional.
Dr Mohammed Ditta and his amazing team were incredibly professional, reassuring, and thorough throughout the entire process. Every step was clearly explained, and I felt completely comfortable and confident in their hands.
The treatment itself was performed with precision and care, and the quality of service exceeded all my expectations. The professionalism, expertise, and genuine kindness shown by Dr Ditta and his staff truly stand out.

I went last month to have a hair transplant with Dr Mohammed Ditta via Harley Street Hair Transplant Clinics to bring my hairline forward.
The first stage consultation was with the coordinator Sara Arthur with HSHT who asked what I was wanting to achieve and explained what the process. Showed me examples of other trans women who have had the same work done. Should be noted that HSHT was the only clinic I looked at that actually showed me photos of work done on other women.
The surgeon consultation with Dr Mohammed Ditta was via video, and went over things and I explained what I was wanting which was bring the hair line forward, as much as possible but to look natural for a cis woman of my age. I had quite a large widoes peak.
Upon asking Dr Ditta showed me more examples of trans women who he had done similar work on. He then asked me if I was ok to come in person so he could get better look at my donor area etc.
The in person consultation, he walked me though the process. He marked on my head two suggestions for hair line designs which worked for my face and muscle structure to give an idea of what's achievable. He did make it very clear that the donor area would be quite large. But explained that it would be done in away that the rest of my long hair would cover it up quite quickly. (Personally a short term pain for longer term gains was worthwhile.)
Using the photo of the hair line examples I went over my photo albums of female relatives to find what runs though the family. One of the examples matched my family almost perfectly.
On the day I went for the procedure I meet at the door of the clinic at 8:30 by Dr Ditta, taken up to the consultation room. Went though the process of the day. Talked again about hair lines and I explained which outline I wanted. He explained again that it would require a large donor area. He the marked the design, explained the lay out and asked if it was ok to trim the little area on the front section which was thining so he could fill it out to match.
He then gave me a t shirt to put on to protect my clothes from blood etc. (it was to be cut off at the end day so not to disturb the hair follicles).
Then we went into the main room introduced me to his team and then he shaved the donor area and then applied the local anaesthetic.
Dr Ditta cut the plugs, while the team assisted. I was asked regularly if I was ok and the local anaesthetic was topped up regularly. After finishing a dressing pad was applied and had a comfort break.
After which, Dr Ditta prepared the graft sites first by applying local anaesthetic and then made the incisions. At this point we took a 20 min lunch break (they provided lunch). After which the team inplanted the hairs. Once done it was back to the consultation room, went over the aftercare again and how to attach the head band. A care package was given containing antibiotics, spray bottle with saline solution for the misting phase, baby shampoo for making spray solution for cleaning / scab removal phase, antiseptic cream for treating donor area and swabs to apply it and antibiotics. The care procedures and steps were also sent as videos via an email link. Which was very useful in reminding me the small details etc.
