We hired Harold’s Hog Roast for our wedding and the food was amazing. From the canapés to the hog roast, and the desserts, it all tasted unbelievable and the staff were lovely. Our only critique would be that there wasn’t enough sides to go around, as our last 2 tables which was around 15 guests went without any potato salad.

Absolutely amazing service! We hired them to cater for our wedding and we could not be happier. Super nice staff, easy to work with, great at communicating and the food is delicious! The price was amazing for the quality given. 10/10 I would recommend them to anyone and everyone!

From start to finish Russell was so accommodating with all of our covid date and plan changes, and was on call to answer any questions we had (which was a lot!). Russell provided not only a hog roast, but vegan options, a buffet, glassware, and staff. We wouldn’t have pulled off the party without all his help and guidance. Would 100% recommend Harold's Hog Roast for their organisation, friendly staff and ridiculously tasty food, and we will be hunting him out at future events!

We booked Harold's Hog Roast to run the catering and bar at wedding last year at the Pilgrims Rest in Bexhill. Can not rate them highly enough....the food, the service, attention to details and just generally making sure our day was perfect...they covered it all!!

We went for the BBQ option and it was perfect.... food was amazing and having the grill there was a real touch and added to the experience. Also asked them to run the bar and drinks throughout the day & night and this was expertly managed throughout! Again, really added to overall experience having professional bar staff on hand and they covered everything perfectly.

We had the most fantastic BBQ at our Golden Wedding garden party, thanks to Haroldshogroast. From the outset, Russell was easy to talk to and quick to email menu choices and prices. I rang him a few times after booking, to make various changes, and nothing was too much trouble. On the Day, the BBQ was served by Luke and David, who were polite, professional and so helpful. We had a selection of sausages, burgers and chicken kebabs - all high quality meat, perfectly cooked and presented. Included in the price were two salads (six varieties to choose from) and rolls. There was plenty of food and at the end, the surplus was wrapped and given to me. Hungry teenagers devoured the sausages while camping overnight in the garden!
Luke & David left the BBQ site spotless and slipped away without my having the opportunity to thank them.

I asked Russell to cater 150 guests at my barn dance wedding reception with a hog roast / BBQ, My wife and I couldn't have been more thrilled with the fabulous service and quality.
Russell made certain that we were fully happy with the menu beforehand and was able to provide guidance for every question or request.

From start to finish Harold’s Hog Roast were fantastic. Russell was very helpful throughout and answered my countless questions promptly.

We had a hog roast in my back garden to celebrate my wife’s birthday and all 70 guests were well fed. Bob and Jasmine set up promptly and served the food on time. The food itself was amazing and everyone commented on how tasty it was. The service was both friendly and professional.

We hired Harolds Hog Roast for our Staff Christmas Party this year. The team they sent were fabulous, the food was amazing and it was a dream to get everything organised beforehand.
I would definitely recommend for their food and service.

Harold's Hog Roast catered our wedding reception last November. We just wanted unfussy but delicious sharing platters for each table and these guys were bang on brief.

Russell and his team served up mountains of BBQ beef brisket, chicken, salmon and two different salads in a load of mismatched vintage crockery which we supplied. They also made up special plates with three different 'main' items for vegan/veggie guests, who all raved about how great it was as they often feel overlooked at big events. In fact, I can't tell you how many of our guests still tell us how amazing the food was, which is incredible given that no one ever remembers what they ate at a wedding.

We then of course had the famous hog roast in the evening which was phenomenal and the perfect thing to keep very merry guests going. It was exactly as a hog roast should be - beautifully soft, melt-in-your-mouth meat with crunchy crackling and homemade apple sauce in a big bap. The ultimate stomach liner!

I should also add that the whole experience of having Harold's Hog Roast as our caterer was extremely professional, friendly and easy. We had regular correspondence and they were very accommodating, tweaking the menu to suit our needs and tastes. On the day, even though we were running a bit behind schedule, the food was still served piping hot and perfectly cooked.

If you are looking for big, hearty helpings of really tasty, honest food for a lot of people (we had 130 day guests plus another 50 for the evening), you will not be disappointed. Thoroughly recommended.

We just wanted to say a huge thank you to you and your team for making the Hog Roast on Saturday. It was massive success with our guests and really added to the fun atmosphere of the evening. The food was yummy and Luke and James did a fabulous job serving everyone and being fantastic hog roast hosts. All our queries were answered quickly and Russell was a pleasure to work with. Could not recommend them enough.

Harolds Hog catered for our wedding on the 15 April. We cannot thank them enough for the quality of the food they provided! The hog roast and accompanying salads were absolutely delicious and the portion sizes were huge. The coleslaw was unbelievably yummy! We had so many people compliment the food. Thank you so much! Would definitely recommend.

I host corporate events and sports tournaments and needed a catering partner able to deliver a service that complimented my events. I have found this in HaroldsHogRoast who every event have made a great impression on my guests!

It is now easy planning my events knowing I have a big box ticked every time!

I run a busy local pharmaceutical distribution company in East Sussex and I have used Russell and his team on three occasions in providing support and services to some of our social events. My colleagues have always been impressed with the quality and even diversity of the food; special requests and veggie are catered for too so we never feel a hog roast is a one trip pony... far from it!
