Very few are trustable
It is really difficult to use the messaging service. There are hardly any good sits in the UK, Save your money ,there are much better sites.
I got treated in a pretty abusive way by housesitters whose dog I cared for lovingly for six weeks who I met on this site. It was incredibly distressing. I appealled to Mindahome about the situation and they were very hostile and couldn't care less. The whole thing was genuinely so upsetting, particularly as I had evidence showing I had done nothing wrong. I found the entire experience really exploitative and upsetting in the end and I certainly wouldn't use this site again. It's actually put me off free dog sitting.
Too many people using it as cheap digs and way too many people applying for very few real opportunities. Save your money, dont bother.
I tried to renew my membership with Mindahome using their link. I paid & now find I'm with Mindahome Australia. Totally useless. Beware of many house sitting sites as they do seem to be Australian based
