I bought my dream form Hartlepool Motor Company 2 months ago, and at the time when detailing the car for collection, they noticed that a tail light was cracked.

They said they would replace this and I'm glad to report that they have replaced it with a genuine part. They had to wait for the part to come in from Mercedes, but Tim kept me up to date and they replaced it as soon as they could.

Fabulous service and a great car purchased from Hartlepool Motor Company. The car was immaculate and the staff were polite friendly and helpful.

Called in on the off chance looking for a BMW X1. Spoke with Tim who told me that one was available in a week. Got a call to say the car was in, went to the sales room and agreed a deal. First class service from Tim and the best experience I've had when buying a car. Found a little problem with the passenger seat sensor. Spoke with Van who got it sorted for me with no fuss. All in all, a first class experience from a very professional team. Can't recommend Hartlepool Motor Company enough. Excellent.

Super easy to purchase and car was exactly as advertised/described.

Van and Tim were super helpful and we would definitely recommend their service.

I telephoned Van during the week to ask the colour of the Mercedes c250d amg premium plus that he had for sale, as no photos were available as the car was being prepared for sale.
Van was very professional and friendly , told me as much as he could about the car, gave me a very fair price on my bmw that I wanted to part exchange, and gave me first refusal when the car was ready to view.
I drove down with my wife on Saturday morning, after being informed that the car had been motd,had new tyres fitted , been serviced by a mercedes specialist, and was ready to view.
Tim the salesman, met us with a handshake and a smile, and the car was stunning. Tim sorted everything, including transferring my private plate, explaining every part of the procedure as he went.
All credit to Van and Tim, we were made to feel very comfortable and welcome without any pressure, and we bought an absolutely stunning car.

This is the first time that I have ever used an online service like Motorway to sell a car so I was a bit unsure how the process worked, however I needn't have worried as both Motorway and The Hartlepool Motor Company made the whole process simple. Once I received the highest offer from HMC, a chap called Van took over and arranged for Gary to come up to Fife and pick my car up. Gary arrived, inspected the car and after a quick phone call 'Back to the office' full payment of the agreed price was in my bank account before we finished doing the paperwork. Both Van and Gary were lovely guys to deal with and were able to answer all my questions without hesitation. I would thoroughly recommend HMC and Motorway if you are thinking about selling your car.

We have bought a couple of cars from here and have always had exceptional service. Very friendly and willing to go above and beyond to ensure we get the right car for us.

Dealt with Hartlepool Motor Company when we sold our car on Motorway and was very impressed. We live in central Scotland and they sent two young men to pick up the car. Both of the men were friendly and knowledgeable. Within 20 minutes they had inspected the car reported to their boss and then the money for the car was deposited in our bank before they drove off. Wouldn’t hesitate to deal with them again.

Part ex’d my car for a gorgeous Audi A3 Saloon from HMC! Very quick and easy process and got a really good deal with my car I was part ex’ing too - one of the men from the valeting side of things seen me looking in the showroom and came out with the keys and left me alone to look… absolutely no pestering to buy (which is what really puts me off car shopping usually) but really good and helpful with the information when asked! The car had been in the Audi garage to be really well polished and upgraded diamond cut alloys etc before I bought it so was literally pristine, definitely a garage that cares about what they are selling. The car was spotless on the inside too when I got it and I have not had any issues at all in the 3 months I have had it.

My dad came with me to look at the car and was really impressed at how good this dealership was and how quick it was to sort everything - he will definitely be looking here first when he comes to buy a new one too!

Sent an enquiry on the Tuesday, Tim got back quickly with all relevant information. Went through all the finance explaining everything. Deposit paid and arranged to travel up for collection on the Friday. Tim was very friendly and informative as I was new to driving an automatic. Van was immaculate as described. Extremely happy and would definitely deal with Hartlepool Motor Company in the future.

Purchased a car from Hartlepool Motor Company. Could not be more pleased. They sourced the vehicle I wanted and at a great price. The sales staff were extremely helpful. (sometimes being a women and buying a car from a male is intimidating) They couldn't have been more professional. I recommend that you visit them before you visit anywhere Else. Ask for Tim or Van. Both were excellent

First of all, let's just start off with 10/10
I'm so happy with my car and the service I received from these guy's, thank you so much for making it so easy 😊. Came down by train and was picked up from a train station, which was 30 minutes away from the showroom, drove to a BMW specialist to give it a once-over and learn about some of the features, from there we drove to the showroom and did some paperwork, had a chitchat and left with a smile 😃. Shout out to Tim and Van and I'll definitely be coming back in the future. Many thanks guy's 👍🏽 and thank you once again .

My experience 13 days ago was a bad one!!
Van gave the highest bid for our car via motorway?
On the day of collection My husband gave Gary Van’s collection driver a lift
from the nearest bus stop being it a couple of miles from our home we thought we would save them a taxi fare.

From Gary getting in the car he spoke of his boss Van the man (I kid you not he calls him Van the man) being very stubborn and that there had been times he’s traveled to the other end of the country to collect a car and ended up returning home empty handed because of his stubbornness.. oooo dear!
On inspection of our car Gary asked does Van know there’s no service history mmmmm Gary hadn’t asked us so how would he know without Van telling him?
we explained the car was not old enough or had reached enough mileage to have needed a service yet, all of this was explained in motorway’s disclosure form..as was the lightly scuffed alloys he was then trying to take £300 off for .
We explained the minor marks you are trying to drop your bid price for are already listed and photographed in the cars listing.
Gary came here with all intentions of taking money off ! We sent them away in disgust not before giving professional Gary stinking of chip fat wearing his bobbled joggers with his piece of paper and pen in hand a lift back to the bus stop.
We informed Motorway of no sale they then have to ask for a report from Van backing his reasons with evidence for the £300 drop.. He didn’t give the report! Which was quite telling….
of course he didn’t because he couldn’t .

We sold our car yesterday 12 days after the experience , again using Motorway we sold to a reputable company the driver collecting when calling his boss with his report on our car said
“ the car is not in good condition …it is in excellent condition “
all monies payed within 15 mins of his arrival.
Thank goodness we were not desperate for the money from the sale of our car but for others it may be a different story and have to succumb to their tactics because of their situation.
