First time in my life the insurance actually paid off. I’ve had the insurance for about two months. Boom second month in about $1200 in vet bills and they took care of it. Direct deposit back in my bank account. Paperwork easy to upload. I believe I was paid back within a week and a half.

Online portal keep me updated.

When we We’re looking for pet insurance online there was so many different companies. Different price ranges. And I kind of wondered if I was actually going to get paid when I need to use it.

I am pleasantly surprised at how great Hartsville has been. I've heard plenty of horror stories about pet insurance not paying out. Our experience has been quite opposite. They have covered all expenses at 90% after our deductible. All claims have been completed easily and in a short amount of time. We are highly satisfied.

First claim reimbursement took a little longer than expected. Otherwise, very happy with the services provided, especially the online WhiskerDocs.

My only issue is that it takes awhile to get any money back. You have to pay upfront, submit your bill and then wait for it to be reviewed. One time I waited for several weeks. I understand they are busy with lots of claims but when you are out of pocket the money it would be nice to get it back or some of it back depending on coverage within a few days.
