very helpful men who delivered our order.

I gave one star because of how helpful the drivers attitude was. However when he landed at my house with three items he had autonmy or ability to make things happen. I only learned when he had unloaded the new machinery, a significant cost l might add,that l had to have the items for recycling already dismantled and out of the house. I was not informed of that by the sales lady. The delivery man really needed assistance to bring in the machines however he was on his own. No one here able to assist. Also no fitting had been arranged by the sales lady so that had to be done seperately. I dealt with this matter on the phone and found the manner somewhat dismissive as l made my complaint. He did however arrange the fitting over the phone for me at a discount. I am now left to recycle the old items myself as a result of the service failure at point of sale. I will likely shop elsewhere the next time.

Great assistance with the knowledgable Ciarán in the store and delivery from the two lads was seamless,with a phone call 20 minutes beforehand.Friendly and professional.

The sales person Aaron in Harvey Norman in Castlebar was so informative. I walked in clueless about washing machines, having never bought one before and when I did the research it was all so confusing.
He told me all of the features of the Samsung Washing Machine along with the controls you can do from your phone on an app, you can set the washing machine for max energy efficiency and also start cycles from the phone. I ended up getting a great deal on a machine, and when I wasn't sure how I was going to pay for it all in one go Aaron went through finance options with me, setting me up there and then, it will be paid off in four installments! I was so happy with this I asked about a few more things in store and Aaron brought me around to the coffee machines explaining as he went. He also recommended a guy who will talk to me about solar panels when I mentioned I had recently bought a house and was interested in grants, this guy called me right away and will come out to my house to discuss!
The patience and professionalism shown was very much appreciated. Washing machine delivered today efficiently with a call to tell me the time and a follow up text. Old machine taken away and new one installed in one go (I did not even have to be there for the delivery, I just left them instructions!) Such an efficient service from the sales person to final delivery.
I will definitely be going back for more!

We were advised that the Samsung fridge freezer had 5 years guarantee. When checked today it’s only 2 years. This is total misselling.
Also the product was due for delivery on Wednesday. No phone contact- just message which I did not see. Spent all day waiting on Wednesday. Then delivery was due between 12-3 but arrived at 4. No information booklet on how to use ice machine. We were of the impression that the water for the ice was connected to the mains … but we have no idea how to make ice. The after sales service is terrible and phone rang out twice today.
Would not recommend Harvey Norman again.
The delivery men were helpful as they advised all they had to do was drop the machine on the floor and go. But they tore off all the wrapping for us and put machine in place.

Online purchase of laptop via Tech Credit...very efficient, loan agreed on minutes, followed by communication from Harvey Norman as to what do do next. Collected laptop the following day, in and out of the shop in less than 10 minutes..excellent service

Kept delaying a delivery, no good enough when paying extra for shipping. The property is 100 meters from the store and still had to pay delivery cost which was fine if it came on time without delays

Got 3 big items delivered. Matthew was really helpful patient and polite.

I had a missed call from delivery guy.i called back and instructed that my washing machine be placed inside sliding door to my porch.It wasn't left in.that was yesterday.still not delivered today.no call today and I can't get through to harvey Norman.

The delivery was as arranged and a text confirmation in advance as well as a phone call on the morning to give a indication of time they’d arrive. The whole process was efficient and the two guys were very courteous and did the job well.

I ordered 4 appliances for my new kitchen.Two of them were out of stock although there was no indication of this when ordering. After 6 weeks complaints to customer service my husband had to take time off work and do a 100mile trip to collect the three items that were in stock so that our kitchen fitters could install them. I then found out that the missing item was in stock in other nearby stores.

We bought a new fridge / freezer from the Castlebar store. The salesperson we were dealing with was Finn. He was very knowledgeable and helped us choose the perfect fridge. we had it delivered and the delivery crew were excellent. It's not easy getting a big fridge in to a house. They were quick and efficient. Would highly recommend Harvey Norman Castlebar !!

Patrick and his very tall assistant were delightful! 5 big appliances from Castlebar shop manoeuvred across my building site and into the kitchen with no fuss, mess or damage. Well done lads.
