Two missed delivery dates. Lack of fitter (sick) so rescheduled for a week later, then the van broke down so rescheduled for a further few days. Once delivered installation team were good but the Electrical connection for the dishwasher was missing! Still waiting on it. Communication from HN was poor initially and only when we escalated the communication improved.

23 days after placing my order I have had nothing delivered

I recently bought a room heater and a grill from Harvey Norman, and I’m really happy with the experience. The staff were helpful, the process was smooth, and both items were ready for quick pickup.

Prakesh was so helpful, I had to purchase a laptop for my son who was heading to college. He went through all the options with me and my son. Top class , very professional and friendly.

Delivery made on time and quickly.
I have a bad knee and can’t kneel. The delivery driver kindly adjusted the one foot on the front of the fridge for me to stabilise the fridge.

Buying a tv I was helped by James who was very friendly and knowledgeable. A pleasure to do business with him.

Upon ordering I had to reach out to find out about my delivery date; only to have to request another day. When the units arrived the driver asked me if anyone from their office had called me. I said no, he asked me again, I said no again. He realized that morning that I had ordered install and take away, but he was alone and couldn’t do that. So he let his dispatch in Dublin know, who said they would call the store (Castlebar) and that they would call me. hence did anyone call me, and no they didn’t. So then calling the Castlebar store to find out what had happened, how to fix it, the young man in your store, kept speaking over me, and it took longer to get to the end solution than needed. And then two days later, two gentlemen showed up and installed the two units, and took away the old unit. in the end, I’m happy for the purchase, I’m happy that everything worked out. To get there took a more than necessary.

I went to collect my TV from the Castlebar shop but it wouldn't fit in my jeep. My mistake at not measuring properly! They offered to deliver it to me the next day free of charge. Excellent customer service!

4 weeks from order/payment to delivery… very disappointing customer experience

The item was delivered on time, prior to that I received a phone call giving me an estimate when the courier would arrive.

I bought a smart watch in Castlebar from Mick in computers. The Huawei watch fit 4. Based on my requirements and questions it's the one Mick suggested would best suit my needs. I love it, it's packed full of spec, great battery life, rugged and waterproof and has a nice sleek design.

I ordered a new printer by click and collect. I didnt think that I would need the extra warranty. When I went to collect it I changed my mind. When I went to pay and collect I was told that I couldnt change my mind and refused my request. I hadnt even left the store and it was still boxed up! I sent a message to Harvey Norman about it. I was told that someone would get back to me in 24 hours. They didnt. I sent another one. Still no contact. Is that really good customer service?

Harvey Norman query all the details of your premises and access beforehand. You are sent an immediate text confirmation. You receive a further confirmation text telling you the driver will phone you on delivery day giving approx delivery time. Driver phoned on the day, arrived and super careful young man placed my freezer in the kitchen for me. Excellent experience from shop to home.

Great price, fast delivery, excellent service

Online customer service was woeful, eventually managed to get through to the Castlebar store over the phone and they were excellent! Friendly staff in the store too.

Ordered a TV on line. Got email saying my purchase was ready to be picked up. Clicked on the link to say I was on the way, as I was tight for time, and hoped it would be a quick pick up.
Called into shop, and approached by harvey norman sales person. Mentioned I had a click and collect tv. He inputted all my details to verify, including purchase no., phone number etc and advised me that I would have to go to the back of the building to pick up my TV. Obviously clicking on the "I am on the way" did not work.

Drove around to back of building and rang bell.
Guy came out, and I told him I was sent around to pick up a click and collect. "I can't get that for you" was the response.
Told him I was sent around by someone in the shop.
"No, I cannot verify that" he responded
I said I had an order number if he wanted to check it, or if he wanted to call someone inside. "Its not my problem" he responded.
I told him that I had just purchased a TV from this store, and was sent around by a person in the shop to collect it from him, and that it was his problem.
" I am not dealing with you, you can collect your TV at the front desk" was the response.
I have never encountered such a level of incompetence in my life, and just pity anyone that has to call to the back of Castlebar Harvey Norman Store to pick up an item they have paid money for. I know one thing for certain is that I won't have to endure that again.
