Absolute Rubbish, Total Con!
Just as other reviewers have said.
I ordered one polo shirt. It took a couple of weeks to arrived but the quality, size, colour were all terrible.
I contacted the company and they replied saying I had to send the item back (at my expense = £17.60!) to Mainland China for a refund. They offered 10% and 20% partial refund for me to keep the shirt but it is only fit for the bin.
I do not believe this company can be trusted with anything so I am not prepared to risk the postage.
So, like others I’ll put this down to experience.
My advice is don’t be tempted by Haven Birmingham’s advertising, they are not based anywhere near Birmingham and deal in garbage!

I believe this site is a scam as the 3 shirts I bought were nothing like their picture and only fit for the bin so I suggest steer clear.

Bought a polo shirt. Arrived reasonably quickly from China via another UK address. Shirt was drab colour and poor quality, nothing to justify the price. Needed ironed on arrival. Glad I only ordered one.
Would definitely not order again.

Wonderful web site, makes the items look the price charged. HOWEVER, after waiting a long time the item arrives and the polo shirt is ill fitting (too long in length) and poor quality. Thought I could send it back HOWEVER its then you find out its a Chinese address and the postage costs almost half of the purchase price.
Never will I purchase again off of the internet without checking first with Trustpilot.

I echo all the reviews on here I purchased 3 shirts which when delivered were of terrible quality were faded and looked like water damaged stock.Their returns people nickel and dimed offering 10 then 20 and finally 50% refund and keep the shoddy goods but refused to pay the costs of freighting the goods back to some address in China.
Luckily I purchased through Amex and they refunded the costs.
Moral:Only purchase goods from accredited retailers I feel like I have been scammed.

A total scam. I didn’t know Birmingham was in China! The Items arrived two weeks late packed tightly and creased and are extremely poor quality. Nothing like the advertised shirts and the size guide is seriously inaccurate. The shirts are really poor value and the return process is also a scam as you have to return at your own cost to a warehouse address in China.

Not even a one star for this company.
How are they still in business and why are they still allowed to advertise on google?

I ordered 4 shirts on Saturday 26th July from Haven "Birmingham" for a holiday starting 4th August. I was concerned I had left it late and also ordered from Autofitit at the same time.

Monday 28th July I received confirmation my Haven goods were on the way which made me think I would get them in time for my holiday.

My Autofitit shirts arrived Wednesday 30th which was brilliant service so I thought I would check the Haven tracking system and it stated that my order was still processing.

By Friday 1st August the tracking system still said they were being processed so I emailed Haven who assured me the goods were now with the shipping company.

By this time I had realised these were coming from China and so said I wanted to cancel because they would be too late for my holiday (starting 4th August) and they would arrive after I had left and there would be no one to accept them. I have no "safe place" for deliveries when my house is empty.

I recieved an email asking why I wanted to cancel and I explained again their processes had taken so long they would arrive too late and to an empty house where the goods would not be secure.

When I returned home on the 19th I saw I had no refund and checked the tracking system. It showed that the goods had actually been despatched on 6th August (2 days after I left) and delivered on 13th. I have no idea whether this delivery actually happened.

When I arrived home there was no sign of any goods. I had already warned Haven that the property would be unattended and the goods would not be safe if they were left outside my property whilst I was away.

I have now exchanged many emails requesting my refund and get the same replies. The goods were delivered etc etc.

I have been offered a 20% discount but if I want a full refund I have to send the goods back. I have pointed out time and again I have no goods to send back!

I certainly wish I had read this review thread before ordering!

To their credit Haven have regularly replied to my emails until last week and now the replies have dried up.

Whilst I am very disappointed to have recieved no goods, from the comments here it seems like a blessing because everyone thinks the quality is poor.

How else can they be forced to refund my money since I foolishly paid with my bank card.

Like others on here it is a shame that we have to give a 1 star rating because my experience hasn't been worth even 1

As an update since this review I have had a number of emails assuring me the goods were delivered, and also emails saying I cannot get a refund until I return the goods. That is the goods that I never received.

Time and again I have pointed out that I cancelled the order on the basis they were taking so long to process the order that I would not receive them before my holiday and they would be delivering to an empty house.

Today I am assured that they have just sent the order again. I have again explained I do not want the shirts I want a refund. I also pointed out that seeing the reviews on here and how poor the quality is that I am sure I do not want them.

They appear to not read your emails and only reply to the top line when they do, and ignore all the relevant information below. I have lost count of how many times I have been asked to return something I do not have.

As a further update on 14th September Haven emailed me to say that my delivery would be with me shortly. I asked them to please not send replacement shirts. I had read all the reviews on here and see that it is almost certain the quality will be poor and I will not be satisfied.

Three weeks later and the replacements (that I do not want) have still not arrived.

This company simply cannot be trusted but I shall retain some hope that there is some decency and honesty in the organisation and that a positive update will be possible eventually.

Update 4th October.

Soukaina A, the person who has been corresponding with me today sent another Yodel delivery reference and asks that I take up with Yodel the missing delivery. I explain that dealing with Haven's delivery contractors is not my responsibility. I also repeat that they have knowingly attempted to deliver when they were told the property would be empty for 2 weeks.

So having accepted responsibility and told me they were sending replacements they are now telling me to take it up with Yodel.

Very disappointed received the shirts 3 weeks later they are absolutely terrible really cheap rubbish. A total con saw them on facebook were they looked really nice…… I don’t know how they get away with it

Couldn’t agree more with the other 1 Star reviewers. A terrible waste of money and thank goodness I only ordered one polo shirt. Just wish I had undertaken my own due diligence by checking Trustpilot before I ordered and saved myself £32.50.

Same experience as others here. Goods actually received , mouldy ,smelling of amonia/urine. Labels had been cut off , no invoice. I was disgusted and angry .Contacted seller for the “ no quibble money back guarantee” and offered 10% etc but when i stood my ground the offer increased incrementally to 60% refund when i stopped talking to them. I contacted Paypal who have done a great job. I have been refunded in full and i thank them for their actions. The sour excuse for clothing will now go in the bin.i am angry with myself for not being as wary as normal but this just seemed 100% genuine unlike many scams but after i had placed the order and checking order progress i smelled a rat . Like others i can see the photos on this site are replicated on other websites too with identical layout for the text and payment elements. If this “ company” , and i would add that payments made to them are paid to “ Risehub” , were based in the UK they would face civil suits for civil law infractions or criminal charges for deception. They are still operating today and put a post on via Facebook yesterday 28/8 which i would expect is where many of us have fallen victim to this scam and Facebook need to play their part and remove them from their shop window. If i have gained one thing from this scurrilous experience it is to be unshakingly vigilant from now on when considering buying from a company online that i have not used before. Sadly these sharks are based ,or have a connection with , China and France so they evade sanctions but i am happy that i have played my part on this occasion to try to undermine the actions of wrongdoers like many others on this thread.

Wish oh wish I’d done some research first! Ordered a polo shirt two weeks ago and still waiting for delivery. Dreading to see what arrives, having read other reviews. I’m expecting the worst

I ordered 2 Polo shirts. When they arrived they were nothing like those in the advert - they were covered in white blotches - why would they advertise something but then despatch something different?
Like others on here I was offered a measly discount to keep the goods, or send them back to China at a likely cost of £20. I disputed this and was later offered 50% as a full and final settlement which I reluctantly accepted in an effort to end the sad saga.
Thank goodness I used PayPal.

Ordered shirts. Quality is rubbish and does not match the description or website pictures. Complained and they offered various refunds. I refused and returned the goods to China. They claimed goods never arrived so I sent the tracking details to prove receipt.
So to cut a long story short ~Thank goodness I paid via PayPal who after receiving my dispute settled in full.

I ordered two polo shirts from this company. When they arrived both shirts were covered in white blotches and were completely unfit for purpose.
I contacted the retailer and requested a full refund including the cost of returning the items as they were faulty.
I was offered a 10% refund as a “goodwill gesture” and I could keep the items. If I wanted the full refund they would provide the address in China and the return would be at my expense!
I refused this offer and they subsequently made new offers of 15% 20% 50% and more recently 70% all of which I have rejected.
My advice would be to avoid making any purchases from online adverts by this company.

After 10 days I thought this was a scam. But then this shirt arrived, very very poor quality and looks nothing like the photo. The material is uncomfortable and almost sticky. This will going straight in the charity bag. A real waste of £32.50.

Trustpilot need to protect their reputation by sorting out the likes of Haven-Birmingham.
The latter continue to advertise their appalling products to include a 4.6 Trustpilot rating.
Surely they are acting in a manner that is sufficiently fraudulent for the law to be involved.

I ordered 3 Haven Birmingham polo shirts advertised as cotton. After a considerable wait I received the package only to find the shirts were made of polyester and the colours are hideous, nothing like the advertisements. Poor quality, I only wish I had read the reviews on trustpilot first.

The item sent was nothing like the item in the photograph. To get a refund you have to return the item to Asia with tracking at great expense. This company is a well oiled scam.

This is a scam overseas company selling cheap, low quality clothing into the UK market. They are based in China and have no connection with Birmingham as their name would like potential buyers to believe. Their website has been built using cloned images widely available online, and they advertise a Trust Pilot rating of 4.6 which is actually 1.3. The quality of the goods supplied bear no resemblance to those advertised. Their returns policy requires purchasers to return the goods to their warehouse in China at their own expense, with no guarantee that they will ever see their money or their goods again.
PayPal have agreed to provide me with a full refund , and UK Trading Standards are the currently investigating the Company.
