Bought a keyboard and mouse a couple of months ago, they're holding up well

I bought a keyboard and mouse a couple of months ago (with the old logo) off amazon and they are both holding up well for light to medium gaming. The RGB looks good but my only issue is that the scroller wheel on the mouse sometimes squeaks, and I can't figure out how to type in certain symbols, for example I can't put in a 'pound' symbol, even though it is on the keyboard. I have to copy and paste it from the internet. Although i'm sure it is something really simple and im just missing it out
