This course literally changed my life in so many ways. Not just with information, but with the opportunity to gain structure, to identify the root cause of the challenges and create a toolbox of techniques I now feel equipped with to help my clients enrich their experience like I did.

Inevitable Success!
HCI’s program helps an aspiring health and/or life coach to navigate the education with easy-to-use class sessions, materials and skills labs. When looking for a coaching school, I wasn’t positive what exactly I needed. When I saw HCI’s program - it had it all!
I’m partway through P2 right now. I’ve learned SO much already and I’m excited to see what there is to learn each time I sign on!

I felt and was very supported in this program. If I had a question, I posted in in the Facebook group and it was answered. I think this is simply the BEST curriculum because of the content, the pace and the done for you "lesson plans." The availability of the live meeting was also very helpful.

I have been experiencing life changing events, death of one Sister, COVID 19, investigation by the IRS. I have fallen behind on my course work and asked for your guidance, help and understanding. I never heard back from you. Nothing!

This is a comprehensive course! Good accountability and support systems. If I had to make a criticism or recommendation, the accountability system website can be a bit glitchy, but every email sent to support was immediately responded to and rectified!

Overall, it was a great program. Keep skills labs. Keep the messaging portion on the HCI website. Keep the Facebook group. Both the messaging option and the FB page were great ways to find skills lab partners / network with fellow classmates. Keep the weekly zoom calls. That was a great way to feel connected to love humans (since all the weekly material is pre-recorded).
I think your handouts are lazy. I understand that you’d want them to have a common theme/color. But I think there’s room for growth on variety and use of infographics to spice them up, and enhance learning.
Bring back in-person meetups.
Personally, I found it difficult to do all the health coach stuff before jumping into the life coach stuff. If at all possible, I think teaching the individual sessions of the 90 day program (both health and life) at the same time would have been helpful. Maybe this is unique to me, but I was mostly interested in the life coaching and by the time we got to that section I was burnt out/overwhelmed/ having a hard time organizing the parallels and differences with health coaching.
Printed materials…if u offered a printed booklet (even for an extra cost), I would’ve paid for it. Organizing the notes and handouts into a binder turned into a project of its own. And once u introduced the money/that which is greater/ relationships lessons, I was at a loss of how to incorporate those all in my binder.
The lesson about nutrition /laws/big companies that own the food industry feels dated (Pillar 1, week 4). There’s an anecdote about companies who took positive action 2015 through 2017. Are there not more recent examples? I remember hearing about companies who started doing good things…is there not an update 5 years later on whether they followed through? I found the lesson informative…just offering food for thought…pun intended.
Recommend being a clearer / laying out the students timeline for those of us who want to finish in 6 months. Specifically, the timing for the OTRs and 90-day programs. I was initially planning to be complete in 6 months. But by the time the OTRs were explained and we jumped into lessons on the 90-day, I already felt behind.
Keep recorded coaching sessions! Those were amazing!! Every time I listen to them I hear something new. The first 1-2 times I listen, I’m hearing the clients answers. It wasn’t until I heard it the 3rd time that I could focus on the coaches questions. Plz keep! I got so much value from them. I think it was Joe’s client who mentioned Rumi’s “The Guest House.” And what a golden nugget that was! It so resonated with me.
Thanks for all the encouragement and positivity! I Look forward to being part of this community for a long time. ❤️

Although I am only half way through my journey, HCI has already proven to be an incredibly rewarding and intense dive into life and health coaching. I have been impressed each week with the consistently valuable new videos, relevant and useful information and support of the HCI staff and community. The founders have created a magical experience of learning, growing, stretching me and opening my mind to areas that I never imagined. I will be forever grateful to have stepped into such a powerful journey. I hope to grow in my coaching skills and style over the next several years as I continue to use the brilliant teachings of the HCI founders.
