I had a great experience the staff was great, and helpful the communication was clear. Which made the experience great.

Ms. Lakeisha Palmer is awesome. She is very kind, supportive, and knowledgeable about being a pharmacy technician. But that's not all — she wears many hats and knows a lot about various topics. She has made me feel more comfortable and confident about becoming a pharmacy technician. I wish I had a Ms. Lakeisha Palmer when I was in elementary and middle school. We really need more people like her. I just want to thank her for being who she is and for being a great adviser to many.

Hands down the biggest scam! I started this program in April 2025. Everything was great in the beginning! I was promised a fair tuition and availability of all of the resources with the staff. Within the first 24 hours, there were problems already. I was told a different tuition amount that varied almost $750 from the first day that I signed up. I immediately called back and They did rectify the tuition. I also received my contract agreement which stated they will not have authorization to auto draft my account. Within a week, they made an illegal draft on my account and refused to cover the bank fees! Further, the end of the same month, you guessed it, they drafted again! I was furious! I called them back and was given the runaround. I was given several emails to address my concern too. Waited over a week and no one responded. I finally called back and spoke to Maria and finance. She was rude, condescending, and standoffish. She finally realized the error, and claimed that she fixed the system to no longer auto draft. Also, she refused to cover any of the bank overdraft fees. Over the next two months, I had a total of four unauthorized drafts! With me still being in the program, There was little I could do to change my debit card information. I had several hundred dollars in accumulated overdraft fees. Once again, Maria refused to help out with any of the fees. I did complete my program and receive my certification. About a week later, I was greeted with an email from Maria stating I still owed money! I went to my bank and spent over two hours. They are gathering all of my receipts. I submitted it all to her and she further debated and stated that The modified tuition was not valid! I had to spend another hour gathering documents and emails from Anthony who works in admission at health tech Academy. So I was able to substantiate everything! One week later, as you can guess it, they illegally drafted my account. I had to contact my bank and have them Rever the charge. Within two weeks from that, I received another email stating that I owed almost $2000! This amount is even more than the original tuition claim! I responded by email that it was an accurate. However, as usual, no response. This afternoon, I noticed another illegal draft of $263! I contacted our family attorney, gathered information for a civil judgment to recoup all of these fees, and also had to contact my bank and establish a fraud claim. When I went to take my national board exam, they informed me that health tech Academy has lost their accreditation to allow students to Take the national board before they have completed their clinic hours in surgical technology. This was a falsehood that was promised to me through health tech Academy. I had to jump through so many hoops to get my national licensure. Avoid this company at all costs!

The curriculum was easy to get through. But the most important part of all of this was my coach LaKeisha Palmer! She kept me motivated and offered words of encouragement!I could come to her with any question I had and she always had answers! She really cares about your success and does everything in her power to help you be successful! She pushed me to take my certification test, I passed! She also helped me find my first position in my new career!I don't know what I would've done without her!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart LaKeisha!

I enrolled in the Sterile Processing Tech program and am so far very pleased. I was able to start the course quickly. REALLY EXCITED.

I just started but so far so good. It takes a minute to figure out anything new but I’m learning quickly. Actually I am excited and can’t wait to finish asap!!!

Well today is my first day. I'm very excited to start and learn something new. My only thing is I would've preferred if the actual books would be sent out rather than them being ebooks. Just an easier way for me to learn. Maybe I'm old school lol but so far that's my only thing.

This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with a school. I chose health tech academy because it was self paced and I’m a single teen mom. Not only was I lied to upon admission, I was taken advantage of. I was told that there were many places in my city that does clinical for HTA students… LIE. I was told that I would receive a certificate that I could be hired with… LIE. Now when voicing my complaints no one will get ahold of me. No one will answer the phone. I need a full refund ASAP and a refund for the emotional stress and time wasted.

I just enrolled but I can’t complaint about it, they are really there if you need anything or if u have any questions. And this is a great career for a good price HTA have great programs I’m glad i found them!

I enrolled in HTA for Medical Billing & Coding. Ive always had an interested in that field. Ive been working in tje medical field for the past 8 years and just need a change more sutable for my family and I. I am absolutley loving the program being flexible. I love the resources they give!

Flexibility for completing the course at your own pace/time, and good resources for preparing for the exam

Disgusting “business”. They’re not a real company. They’ll reply to you within minutes when you’re signing up, but after you request a refund within the timeline PER THEIR POLICY they ghost you and think they can just keep people’s money as if attorneys don’t exist. I’m currently filing against them with my attorneys and bank as well. Don’t waste your time or energy or money. Their program is ran by people who can’t even put together a coherent sentence it was actually painful to try and even watch their educational videos I was losing brain cells. Just go to a real school with people who are actually educated.

Edit: Do not reply to me telling me to contact your “support” email. I clearly have done so in order to get a refund and cancellation and you have IGNORED me through that email. Even the academic “advisors” that were initially speaking to me have suddenly been ignoring me as well. How convenient right?

You guys are going to see and find out how serious my attorneys are and how they’ll handle this matter “promptly” as well. We always win against scammers.

I selected a program over the weekend to initiate the start of my program. However, I decided to switch programs and when they called me regarding my interest I spoke to Sid. He was very detailed in explaining things to me and answering my questions. He was able to help me to make my program switch very seemless and explained how the enrollment process goes. I've spoken with several team member since then and everyone is knowledgeable and pleasant. I look forward to completing the program with HTA and jump starting a new career in healthcare.

The People I spoke to during this whole process of getting enrolled were very helpful and nice.
