I enquired about a hearing test,but was advised at 53 to come in to explore ear wax removal as at 53 would be unusual to have hearing loss,Elizabeth on reception was lovely very helpful,I had my ears checked by Callum he was polite and professional,he advised one ear was needing wax removal,I was Seen by Serena a week later she was so nice very pleasant reassuring and checking me throughout the process,it was tricky as hard wax deep in the canal but she worked with different methods to remove it and got the job done was a pleasure to meet her and she was so good at her job!

The hearing care centre are just brilliant. My hearing aid had stopped working and I spoke to Simon Myhill and he said for me to come to the Ipswich clinic the next day and has managed to fix it within 24 hours. All the team are amazing especially Simon Myhill who i have delt with for over 10years! If you are looking for a Hearing company to give you exceptional service and treat you well then I would look no further!

I visited the Ipswich branch of the Hearing Care Centre to have excess wax removed. It was my first time at the new address. I was attended to by Rebecca Long who was very thorough and carefully explained every aspect of what she was doing during the course of the session. Very reassuring. My hearing was restored to 100% by the end of the session. If in the future I find I need repeat treatment I will certainly book a slot at the Ipswich branch again.

We feel compelled to email the Hearing Care Centre (Woodbridge Road) to commend its staff upon our first and subsequent visits on their professional, welcoming approach, nothing is too much trouble.

We were recommended to Clinical Lead Simon Myhill via a mutual family friend to seek support for my husband David H regarding his deteriorating health due to Terminal Brain Cancer and needed a hearing assessment to make an informed decision.
Simon was engaging, empathetic to our, David’s needs and quickly made us feel at ease, there was no pressure, hard-sell,’ we felt listened to and within a week Simon supported my husband to hear his daughters wedding vows to feel part of her special day., tears all round.

We hold Simon in high regard and will endeavour to recommend HCC to all those who are in need of gaining a special part of their life back. Words are not enough as you have proven, we thank you.

His clarity in explaining what products would be the most beneficial and his advice in choosing the correct aids were very much appreciated. From my initial visit through to the ongoing support after purchase the Hearing Care Centre, and Michael specifically, have been excellent. The investment in hearing aids is significant and i believe what differentiates this company is the excellent product support after sales that allows you to fine tune the equipment to maximise the hearing benefits. I was new to hearing aids but was able to easily transition to an average wear time of 14 hours per day. During the initial 9 months of use the settings have been adjusted a couple of times to suit my needs and i think this is a real benefit. Great company and service

From the time we made our joint appointment to the morning of our hearing tests we received a friendly and professional service from all the staff we either spoke to or met.
On the morning of our tests Michael the audiologist explained thoroughly the process we would go through. He was very reassuring and we were very happy with the hearing test process. In addition Michael answered any questions or concerns we had about hearing and was extremely professional and knowledgeable. The Hadleigh centre is in a calm and quiet environment. We would have no hesitation going back to see Michael.

My wife’s hearing test was conducted in Bungay without a sound booth. This is not made clear when you book the appointment. You can hear constant road noise, the receptionist chatting and even the audiologists phone beeped. When we complained they stated the audiologist had an app on his phone that confirmed the background noise was below 35dB - something I find hard to believe.

A week after I posted this review, the practice got in touch and kindly refunded our fee in full.

I strongly recommend The Hearing Care Centre to everyone!!!! I have now been to the Hethersett branch twice and seen Teresa. I have only positive things to say about my whole experience.
I had a very negative experience last year at Spire in Norwich, so I was reluctant to go anywhere after that. I contacted The Hearing Centre to try as I had had it recommended to me and I knew I needed to do something. I experienced excellent customer service from start to finish.
Due to my previous experience I was nervous about attending but as soon as I was there Teresa’s smile and friendly yet professional manor made me feel at ease straight away and I felt reassured that this experience would be different to previous.
I love how thorough Teresa is and at each point in the process she explains exactly what she is going to do and makes sure I am happy with that. Teresa has such a loving caring approach to her work, I feel she really values the individual person, and listens well. Teresa is very gentle and careful, doing it with real consideration and always checking in with me that I am ok - so with Teresa it’s not an unpleasant or painful experience like it always had been for me (I was in tears every time prior to this when I used to have my ears cleaned as it was so painful).

I am so grateful for The Hearing Care Centre. It means so much to me that I now have somewhere safe I can go to get my ears cleaned out comfortably which is really important to my every day life and whole wellbeing.

I was very impressed by this company. I met with Simon Myhill who is a highly experienced and knowledgeable Audiologist. He genuinely cared about my hearing challenges and his advice to me was invaluable. I learned more from him in my 1 hour consultation than I learned from several other Audiologists over many years. I can highly recommend them for help in finding a good solution if you have hearing difficulties.

Award winning - not even close! Can't even transact a simple thing like selling wind protectors by personal visit. Why would I pay £3 delivery charge when I live a couple of minutes walk from their shop? They have lost business, and also missed the opportunity to gain a long term client.

I met Michael Shane December 2020. He was so welcoming and put me immediately at ease.
The whole process was very smooth.
Since receipt of my aids the follow up has been excellent. Any queries I have had have been effectively addressed by the girls at Ipswich or I have been given an early appt with Michael.

Today I finished my 4th visit at the Ipswich branch after getting new hearing aids from this company and I cannot fault the experience from start to finish, you are warmly welcomed by the receptionist on the desk offered lovely coffee while you wait. I was looked after by Jenette who is amazing, explained every stage of the visits and what happens each time.
She made me feel very comfortable and it was a pleasure to see her every time nothing was too much trouble and cannot fault the customer service you are given. All in all you will truly be looked after if you go here.

From the time you walk into the shop/centre in Ipswich the friendliness and care starts with the receptionist. Today Jan made me and others very welcome. You become part of everyone's visit
I then had Ian Rushton booked by appointment and as usual, he too makes you feel at ease. He keeps you informed about every step he takes to make your visit comfortable. A man with a good sense of humour and a caring man who knows how to sort things out for you.
All staff appear to be good natured and helpful.
