These guys use patented technology that…

These guys use patented technology that is designed to push players to purchase more things in game. The matchmaking, the games themselves, everything is not real, a set up to try to get you to purchase more. This is not a conspiracy theory. If you are looking for a fun and fair game to play, go play live, as you probably will not find it online, since all the major brands use this garbage. After conversing with an AI, they confirmed it was basically impossible to have a fair game using this technology. Look up US20160005270A1 patent on google patents if you want to learn more. For the record, its the most egregious way of doing things I have ever seen.

Hearthstone in 2026 is insufferable

Hearthstone... Played for years... 2026 is stunningly insufferable.
- Return.
- Spent $100 on a bundle of cards to catch up with what's new.
- Check content creators to see what they recommend.
- Copy build and realize some cards a locked behind another $100 paywall bundle.
- Make another build
- Lose because the game can't keep track of all the stupid mechanics they put in.
*Card says "Elusive"
*Elusive cards can't be targeted by spells.
- Lose all Elusive minions because I guess Mage's spells are built different

Pay to WIN

I play Hearthstone sometimes and then the Battlegrounds version. It's a good build game; only the pay-to-win system is very sad. If you buy the extra versions, they say you only get skins and shit, but that's not true. You get an extra bonus, and a better card to buy from the balance is really bad. I played a lot, and you really see the difference.

They also say that card come from a pool. but strange part is that everyone is playing the same and i still get those card and not wat i need and nobody is playing and that happens a lot so thats nog true either.

good concept but not fear.!

Plenty of bugs...

Plenty of bugs and they never fix them quickly, everyone needs to yell so blizzard act. It's really weird for a company like blizzard. Just today I'm disconnected and stuck in a message and then I'm unable to connect to my game

The worst digital card game in history, devs to blame.

The worst digital card game in the history of card games. The developers clearly want to milk it before it dies and they are the worst designers in a card game. Unbalanced, scammy, unfun and amazingly toxic. Avoid this game at all costs, and don't spend money. You will feel horrible as you get nothing out of it.

Not to mention the overpriced bundles for 1 card. Please also caution for kids, they should not play it, its addictive and causes mental health issues confirmed.

Season 9 of Battlegrounds is a waste of time

Someone here wrote correctly - Battlegrounds is a casino, and not a first-rate one at that.
The unfinished, crooked, full of bugs and lags 9th season will not save anything. I don't know what the 10th season will be like this year, but the 9th was more than enough for me. I'm waiting for the new season and I hope that at least the developers will try to release something good there, and not this.
And yes, finally hire testers, otherwise Battleground will die before the 10th season even starts.
What kind of nonsense is this? When you and a large half of the lobby assemble 2-3 playable comps, because everything else either doesn't play at all, or will get you to 3-4 place at most?
Where is the flexibility of previous seasons? Where is the variability? Where did all this go? Everything is very bad.
There is no balance. When you are trying to find at least 1 necessary card that will give you at least something, at least some advantage (gold, power, etc.), your opponent assembles a mind-blowing board for 3-4 turns ahead. Why is this happening? And it is happening more and more often compared to games from previous seasons. There will be at least 1 person in the lobby who will be given cards as if his life depends on it.
What is this disgusting composition of undead? Seriously, I have to spend half of my turn watching animations of undead rebirths/deathrattles when the further game depends on my next turn? And what about comp of Catacomb Crusher with Rivendare? Do you think this laggy animation is beautiful?
This game needs so many changes and fixes, but the most we can get is a nerf to one minion and a buff to another, heroes removed and then brought back, etc. It's just terrible.

*BATTLEGROUNDS* -> CASINO

*BATTLEGROUNDS* The game has become a casino, most of the cards are useless , if you get full shop of useless cards -> upgrade tavern -> pray for lucky shop , if not -> get fked -> start again.
Worst season in ages.

Played this game for over 5 years

Played this game for over 5 years, its mostly luck if you win or not.
(card games usually are)
I like the sounds and the overall view of the gamealso like the battleground mode.
in the regular hearthstone mode you won't get far because of the many cards and the metadecks being copied from the top players, a lot of broken decks and a lot of luck involved.
Still its fun to play sometimes or if you get enough mana to create your own broken deck you steal from the top. :D

Don't waste your time on this trash

If the game doesn't want you to win, you won't win.
Being the only one playing a certain type, but not getting anything you need. Always attacking the wrong servants but the enemy hits always the right ones. It's almost obv. that if you get at least in top 4 and getting about 100-200 points of rank, you will lose the next 3 games setting you back to origin. I am not paying for this waste of time, but i am certain that those who do (like watching a friend who always buys saisonpass), get an advantage like getting the right servents etc. Do yourself a favor and save your time and nerves. Let this company already die.

Dont let its shiny and polished…

Dont let its shiny and polished aesthetics fool you. you dont fight only other players. you fight blizzard's lame algorithem. and that algorithem is unbeatable . it riggs the RNG forcing you to lose when the game wants you to lose by giving you the worst rolls over and over again. not only that, it also has the worst support team ever. i had an arena run right after the new patch, there was a new card that didnt function like its description. any normal support team would refund you back the entry fee. but nah they refused. so 150 gold wasted.
