What can I say about this company other than caring, compassionate and understanding. We recently lost our beautiful dog Matilda at 16 years old,and we called upon Heavenly Pets to do her cremation, from the moment Gav walked in and took one look at her laying peacefully in her bed we knew we had made the right decision. An absolute animal lover through and through and if you know ,you know he treat Matilda and ourselves with the utmost care and gave us time to say our goodbyes to her and was kind to all of us through our tears and explained what would happen next.Matilda was cremated individually along with a blanket my late mam had crocheted for her, which gave me great comfort and her ashes were brought back home to us along with some beautiful personal gifts. Please trust these people to take care of your furry friend, they are truly good and kind people who do what they do because of their love of animals and there are no better people than that in this world xx

A business with heart, professionalism & dedication !

I cannot thank Gav and the amazing team at Heavenly Pets enough. I know their company was born from a genuine concern about the future of their own dog, Merlin, and you can truly feel that they are real animal lovers with such strong ethics and purpose behind everything they do.

At a time of such shock and devastation, we felt nothing but care, compassion, and attention to detail. Despite doing this work every day, they never once made us feel like it was routine — George was treated as though he was the most important, and we felt that we mattered as a family. That personal touch and genuine compassion meant so much.

The communication from the moment George was taken into their care was brilliant, and his ashes were returned quickly, even over a bank holiday. We never doubted for a moment that he was in safe hands or that he was being treated with dignity and love. Gav returned with a beautiful tribute for George, complete with nose and paw prints and a tiny jar of his gorgeous fur clippings.

What also made such a difference was how smoothly Heavenly Pets liaised with Kim at Peace for Pets. Everything we wanted from timings ,to how long we wished to spend with George before we said our final farewell was handled seamlessly, making sure we could say a proper, gentle goodbye without any added stress.

This is truly a business built with heart and soul. It really does make a difference when care deeply about what they do and go that extra mile.
Knowing that George was cared for so beautifully has brought us great comfort and helped us in our grieving process. We can’t recommend Heavenly Pets highly enough, thank you for giving George the respect and love he deserved on his final journey. 🐾💙

Loveliest people with hearts of gold.

I cannot thank every single person at heavenly pets. Following an horrific day and one of the saddest, my gorgeous girl was put to sleep,it was a complete shock and not expected aa she was only 5, the emergency vets was half hour away and they gave me info for a dog crematorium close by but as I live near heavenly pets and friends had highly recommended I gave them a call, they went to collect my girl within the hour and called me to say I could go see her that night. I planned to go the following morning as I was still in shock, the next day I visited and said my final goodbye, it was heart breaking but as lovely as a final goodbye could possibly be. It made me feel alot more settled. Her ashes were ready to collect within a day and a half and they offered for these to be brought to me but I went to collect. All staff absolutely lovely and understanding, they made such an awful time feel a bit more bearable,I cannot thank them enough and cannot recommend them enough.

Honestly cannot find the words to describe how amazing this service is. After losing our boy at just 2 years old we were devastated. Gav and his team were outstanding and the time , effort and care that goes into looking after your pet is second to none.

Highly recommended , no pressure at all from the team just the utmost respect for yourself and your pet.

Thanks so much for taking care of our baby - lots of love from Blues family.

It is truly a sad time

It is truly a sad time , Dilly( the boxer ) had been in our lives for 11 years and will always be in our thoughts and memories. Heavenly pastures have been fantastic in their manner of respect and professionalism. A special note is for Mike. He picked up Dilly and returned her to us with great respect , dignity, and love , thank you Mike.

Above and beyond, such special people..

With broken hearts we had to say goodbye to our much loved 12 1/2 year old boxer boy three weeks ago. We were, and still are, devastated.

We had been recommended Heavenly Pets by two friends and we'd already been in touch with them to discuss arrangements and what we wanted for him. On the day he passed, the vet contacted them and we were told Gavin would be with us within the hour, giving us some much needed time to say goodbye properly.

From the moment he arrived we knew that we had made the right decision. Everything was done in the most thoughtful and considerate way. From sitting straight on the floor with our boy and saying "oh, there you are big fella" whilst stroking him gently to explaining everything that would happen from that moment on, Gavin showed so much empathy and respect. We knew he actually cared... and we trusted him to look after our boy as we would have. Gavin also told us that someone would be available 24 hours if we needed to contact them or if we decided that we wanted to visit our boy at their Farewell Room. Before leaving, he gave us a timescale for when we could expect to bring him home, which was within 48 hours.

Vicky from Heavenly Pets kept in touch via phone as we waited to collect and bring him home (We were told that he could be dropped off, but we chose to go and get him). When we arrived, we were immediately shown to the Farewell Room by Vicky and told we could take as much time as we needed. This room was similar to the traditional "hooman" chapel of rest and was beautifully decorated, another sign that Heavenly Pets understood that to us dog parents, saying goodbye to our "fur babies" was every bit as important as to any other "family" member.

Our boys ashes were there, together with several other complimentary gifts that had been made for us and which we didn't expect. There were prints of his paws and his nose (which was his way of giving us "kisses"), a remembrance card with a poem and nose print, a condolence card signed by everyone at Heavenly Pets, a little bottle with his fur in (from 3 different areas), some forget-me-not seeds to plant and a beautiful wooden framed picture of his paw print with his name and a quote on. We were stunned. We had not expected all of this and the thought behind these gifts was really amazing and so, so appreciated.

After taking some time to say goodbye and write in their book of condolences, we left Heavenly Pets, feeling less sad than when we had arrived and took our boy home.

We cannot thank Heavenly Pets enough for taking the time to make us feel that his life was as special to them as it had been to us. It takes true animal lovers to understand how this moment feels and to honour that. Everything was done with care and compassion, not just for us, but for him too. We could not have asked for a better way to say goodbye to him and to be left with these final memories, which they gave freely, was so amazing. I look at his framed paw print every day, standing proudly on my mantle piece, right beside his little bottle of fur and it comforts me to know we still have these little bits of him close. You are such very special people doing such a very special job. Thank you.

Extremely compassionate and caring.

Heavenly pets didnt just provide a service they gave heartfelt sympathy from start to end of our journey with our little dog Rocky, we knew he was safe and cared for, a difficult time made easier by the way they treated him as though he was family, gently guiding us through the options. Every step of the process was beautiful, the set up is so very peaceful and as it says on their web site deeply personal, respectful, it was a farewell I never expected, these lovely people go beyond their duties and I cant thank them enough.

Above and beyond is an understatement

I had no idea such a service like this existed. Heavenly Pets were recommended to me when we lost our beloved dog, Harvey. I was told they went above and beyond and this is an understatement! Never have I known anyone put so much thought and compassion into their service. Vicky called me first and spent some time chatting to me and I honestly felt like I was talking to a grief counsellor, she was so understanding. After Harvey fell asleep in my arms, Gavin came to our house to take him to his final destination. Gavin showed all our family, and Harvey, the utmost respect and dignity. We were told we were welcome to come to see Harvey the following day if we wanted in the chapel of rest / family room. I was unsure at first as I was so distressed I wasn’t sure how I’d be. However we decided we would and I’m so glad we did. I never expected the level of attention to detail and just how peaceful and dignified Harvey looked, tucked into a blanket, on a big cushion and a rose next to him. It actually helped me feel more accepting as we’d lost him quite suddenly and the day Gavin collected him had been a blur. I knew he was in the best hands because it’s so clear this is a labour of love for this family business, spurred on by the loss of their beloved dog Merlin. Vicky helped us choose the best options for Harvey’s ashes without any pressure whatsoever. She couldn’t have been more caring and understanding as to just how important Harvey was to us, that he was a member our family and he was treated as such. I have already recommended Heavenly Pets to my friends and would recommend them to anyone who wants to have their beloved pets treated with the love and kindness they were used to in life. Thank you Gavin and Vicky for giving us so much comfort and for looking after our boy so well

We lost our beloved boy Oscar on…

We lost our beloved boy Oscar on Saturday evening peacefully at home.Justina the vet who came to the house asked if we would like to have Oscar cremated which we had already said we would do
She placed a message to Heavenly pets.
Kevin attended the house to collect Oscar and take him on his final journey, immediately I could feel the dignity and care and upmost respect for Oscar .
He gave us time to say our goodbyes and assured us that no pets are ever left on there own that someone would with him all night.
The following day I got a call asking if we would like to come and see Oscar before his final journey.
We were quite apprehensive of what to expect but when we arrived we were blown away by the kindness and care that had been afforded to Oscar.
He was laid on the alter with his head on the cushion and a rose between his paws and looked beautiful and most importantly at peace.
The room is stunning so dignified and takes into account that you have you just lost a loved one and a part of the family.
We sat with Oscar for over 30 minutes talking and remembering all his little cheeky times and felt he was genuinely at peace and rest.
Once we said our final goodbye we spoke with Kevin regarding the casket and he explained that Oscar would be going on his last journey and be back hoe with us soon.
On Tuesday we went to pick our boy up,in the past when I have had my fur babies cremated at other places I have had to go the vet and be greeted with a box in a paper bag not here
We went into the room and on the alter was Oscar in his casket a picture with with his paw print and nose print a beautiful poem card and a little glass jar with a bow with his fur
Both me and my wife were very emotional as we were not expecting this level of dignity and kindness
Again we were left in private to gather our thoughts and take in the surroundings and were not rushed.
These people are genuine animal lovers and reading there story about the beloved boy Merlin I can see that they want to give people the respect and dignity that they would want for there own
I can honestly say these are the kindest people I have met and words cannot express how you guys have helped us at this terrible time.
I can’t thank you enough we are blessed to have people like you to offer this at a time of need and sorrow
Sorry for the long post but wanted you guys to know how much it means to us

Thanks

Care and compassion

sorry for the late review.
Its been some weeks now since we lost our beautiful little dog Poppy and as most dog owners will tell you grief can be sometimes painful.
When we lost Poppy at home we didn't know what to do then I remembered passing Heavenly Pets.
So at 6 0clock in the morning I gave them a call Peter who answered put me at ease straight away and was at our home within the hour.
We can not thank him enough for the way he showed care and compassion not only to us both but to our Poppy the way he spoke to her and the respect he showed her in our moment of grief will for ever be remembered.
Peter and the team kept in touch and when Poppys ashes came back to us they gave them to us with care yet again also a paw print, noseprint and a lock of her fur.
Once again thank you for your support forever grateful.
Marty and Emma

Absolutely fantastic caring family

I used this absolutely amazing family last year when I lost my dog. He was ill for a few weeks and the first time we found out I contacted them and explained everything. Luckily I could call back that day and let them know things had changed a little and they were great. Didn't make me feel like I was messing them about at all, like I thought I had. A week later when the day came that I did need them they were fantastic. They travelled about an hour to meet me at the vets that I was at and spoke to the receptionist and sorted all paperwork so I didn't need to worry about it. They tucked my boy up all cosy and came to my car to try and console me. Never have I met any1 in this area who is so compassionate and that genuinely cares for pets and other people. I sobbed in the middle of a car park to a stranger who I felt I had known years. The whole process made it easier for me to say goodbye to our dog. A day later we collected him in an amazing urn and got a bag full of amazing things to remember him by. Will 100% be using them again when the time comes for my other dog. I can't even tell you how brilliant they all are in a little review. I recommend to everyone I know

AMAZING

My fur baby Dixie died suddenly in 2023 and was collected from vets by Heavenly Pets Crematorium, they contacted me and spoke with such care and compassion, i was upset as my daughter wasn't with me when Dixie crossed rainbow bridge, but Gavin said its ok you can come and say a final good bye if we wanted, i was shocked as id never heard of this before so i met my daughter there,
I asked if they could unite Dixie with his girlfriend Pixie who had passed in 2020, i was told yes no problem or charge for that, i also chose a beautiful picture frame urn for the ashes, when my daughter arrived we were shown into a room that was so warm calm and comfortable with soft lights and music, Dixie was laid on a cushion with a blanket over him and a rose between his paws we both cried and cried, we sat with him for a while we weren't rushed and we kissed him goodbye i left Pixie with him to keep him company and help him on his way. On the day if cremation i was sent a text to say he was starting his final journey and a text to say it was over. I can not tell you just how much all of this helped with our grief to know he was with people who really really cared for him during his last days on earth.
My daught lost her girl Lady a year later and she also recived the same service for her girl. I would just like to add that this did not cost an arm and a leg either but it was worth every penny in fact i would of paid more. My husband also bought me a necklace with the ashes in which Gavin sorted for me. I wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend Heavenly Pets Crematorium.

Heavenly Pets demonstrate such care and compassion

After the most horrific experience at an emergency vets on 1st March 2025, we lost our beloved Iggy. He was collected by Heavenly Pets that evening and I spoke to them the following morning. We booked an appointment to see Iggy for that afternoon. We were greeted by Peter. Iggy was laid on a cushion with a blanket over him and looked so peaceful. Peter made such an effort to make an incredibly traumatic time a little easier for us. He talked us through everything and let us look at urns for Iggy. There was no pressure and he let us spend as much time as we needed saying our last goodbye. I messaged Vic about photos and urns and changed my mind several times but she was so patient with me. The staff were incredibly caring and understanding and I cannot think of a single thing they could have done any better. These people genuinely care and I can't thank them enough for the way they cared for my beautiful boy and compassion they showed us. Thank you, from the bottom of my broken heart xx

Losing a family pet is devastating

Losing a family pet is devastating. It's many years since I lost a dog and didn't know who to choose for the cremation. My friend gave me Heavenly Pets number as they looked after her dog who passed away recently. Heavenly Pets looked after my westie Mac and made losing him more bearable. They collected him from my vet and dealt with the cremation. When we went to collect his ashes we were shown into a lovely room with soft music playing and Mac's ashes were on the table along with a framed paw print and a nose print. I thought that might be a bit over the top but it wasn't it was very comforting. I can't recommend highly enough. To be brutally honest I have organised funerals for family members where I had less consideration. Thank you Heavenly Pets.
