Don't expect to hear about cheaper options
I've been to stern Rotterdam twice now, and each time there is a dubious reason to need to pay over 1000eur for parts. They also didn't even check the onboard computer for what the warning light said before saying it needed parts replaced. I asked for a full service and my vehicle left then with the same computer warning light it went in with and them of course they deny any issue. Their reasoning doesn't make sense. Only after questioning them will they offer to repair things rather than just replace them. It's all about maximising the service cost.

Status of tyres
Last winter, I paid to do a car check + change to winter tyres (including storage of the summer tyres).
Everything was ok at that time. However, when changing back to my summer tyres, I was informed that the summer tyres were not in good condition and they needed to be replaced.
I should have been informed about this when I paid for the storage of my summer tyres. I got an apology but I still paid for it.
