Hek Jones is currently representing me in the sale of my house.
I would just like to say I will never use them again no response from them they want you to do all the work never answer any ther messages you leave with them

Hek Jones were appointed my conveyancer by Yopa. Overall not bad but the Solicitors need to actually speak to clients not rely on emails as problems can be sorted in seconds not days

Very surprised with reading positive reviews, following our experience. Worth being aware of:

- You do not have a solicitor day-to-day on your account, but a paralegal/trainee
- They have a 3 day response SLA
- Their basic fee only covers 4 hours work
- They are not proactive and will not phone to chase unless you specifically ask
- They will not (this might be general solicitor thing) provide you with timelines or status of where you are in the transaction to help manage expectations

On the positive side, when you do speak to the team on the phone they're very friendly and act upon requests.

We would not use them again, so just be fully aware before appointing Hek Jones.

We engaged Hek Jones to do our conveyancing as a result of using Yopa estate agents. Having always used a local solicitor, a fixed fee remote service was a new experience. We were so glad to have employed them. Their service was great. Always contactable, and efficient in returning emails and calls. Wherever the problem with the sale chain was - it was never with us! Hek Jones were on top of everything, and had everything planned and ready to go when required. Will definitely return next time we need any legal services they provide. Very good value for money.

I’d highly recommend Julia Hurren and her team. From the first enquiry to completion they were incredible to work with, making a long and tricky process much easier for us. They explained things clearly, always responded quickly to emails or calls, and worked flexibly and with good humour. I’d certainly work with them again.

We worked with Julia and Catherine’s team for the sale of our flat, really happy with the service provided. We would definitely use their team again in the future.

Upon the recommendation of someone I went ahead with appointing Hek Jones for my first property purchase. I was assigned Heidi's team. From the start the process has been frustrating. Progress is painfully slow, often only happening when you chase and chase numerous times. Communication is non-existent with emails not being responded to. It is rare to get an email response from the team: often 3-4 required to be sent before anyone actually responds back to you. Over the phone you're passed between team members to be told it is being addressed yet nothing happens for weeks!

I'm at the end of my journey with Hek Jones but have a last few items to be tied up and it seems that now that payment has all been made there is no incentive for them to be pro-active and actually resolve matters in a timely fashion.

I will not be recommending Hek Jones to anyone, as the service I have received has been exceptionally poor. Such a disappointment given some of the glowing reviews of the service given here.

They dealt with the sale of my first flat. Worst experience in a very long time. Had the flat from new, cash buyer, no chain, 11 months and counting. I would strongly recommend using someone else - trust what your friends and family recommend, not the estate agent. I can't stress that enough!!
