Haven't even gotten any boxes yet and already several problems.
Technical issues with double subscription and then deletion of the wrong subscription which led to wrong meals gonna be delivered on the first box.
Then the promo code I first receive after making the account and the first order, I can't use since its only for new "interested" users. Promo sent from HelloFresh.
So can't wait until I get the actual box and see what new problems this may cause.
Did get some credit for the first mix-up with sub and wrong box.

When it works, it works. When it doesn't, it's a pain in the ass, surpassing doing your own groceries by a long shot.
When we first started getting HelloFresh delivered we received amazing produce, really fresh and great looking. Deliveries were on time and they always managed to put the box in front of our door.
Now, a year later, the vegetables are stale and we always receive a text message saying delivery is delayed 1.5 hours, 5 minutes before they were supposed to be there, mind you.
Ingredients are missing a lot of the time, which is the worst part, because then we have to go grocery shopping, which ruins the concept. We had a dish with fish, but the fish-sauce and lime was missing...
To sum up, when it works it works, but the longer we have had the subscription, the worse the experience has become and now we wouldn't recommend it to anyone and we have decided to cancel when we have found a decent replacement.

Hello fresh gives you no information about upcoming deliveries before it's too late to cancel. Got contacted by their delivery service when it was already too late to make any changes to the delivery. I'm not home for the entire week... such a waste. Customer support is of no help. Absolute confidence tricks.

I am absolutely furious and beyond annoyed at the abysmal quality of HelloFresh deliveries I've received lately. I've been a customer, having ordered numerous HelloFresh boxes in the past, but the recent experiences have left me seething. The ingredients they sent were either rotten or damaged, and it's become a recurring nightmare.
I documented this nightmare with photos and lodged a complaint. In response, they had the audacity to offer me a mere 50 kroner discount coupon, which felt like an utter mockery. But it got worse. The next box they sent was a disaster – the salad and mixed leafy vegetables were drenched in water, emitting a putrid stench, and had transformed into a disgusting, rotten mess. I had no choice but to throw them away, and, mind you, I have video evidence of this culinary horror show.
When I tried reaching out to their customer service via the "Contact Us" option on their website, all I received was yet another 50 kroner coupon, that i funnily enough cant seem to use. They seem to think they can placate customers with these meager gestures, completely disregarding the fact that their service is exorbitantly priced, with additional delivery fees. It's simply unacceptable that the ingredients consistently arrive in such a deplorable state.
I acknowledge that I haven't always received spoiled ingredients. However, their approach to addressing these issues, as well as their system, leaves much to be desired. As a food service company, they should take these matters extremely seriously and resolve them promptly. What's most infuriating is the complete lack of follow-up after my initial complaint. Do they even care about the safety and well-being of their customers who might consume rotten and potentially harmful food?
I once held a positive opinion of this brand due to its premium nature, but those days are long gone. I expected a higher standard given the premium pricing, but evidently, they've fallen far short. Their constant stream of offers and discounts feels like a charade and does nothing to rectify the underlying issues.
To put things into perspective, it would cost me around 500-700 kroner per week to receive meals for just five days. I could easily purchase high-quality ingredients from online grocery delivery services for less and access pre-made, easy-to-follow recipes online. For me, bidding farewell to HelloFresh seems like the only logical choice.
Furthermore, as a service targeting expats and the working class in Europe, the absence of an English-language website is a major inconvenience, and I find it highly frustrating. Using their app without English support is nothing short of a nightmare. They ought to address this issue as well, but it's clear they have little regard for their customers' convenience and satisfaction.

Disappointing. After being a customer for more than a year and receiving a total of 55 packages according to the app, I am considering different options for my family. Reasons:
-Decrease in choosing options. They keep introducing more plates inside different categories that require additional payment. They use to have a better variety and more options.
-Decrease in quality and amount of product. I can see a clear downsize in their products delivered, smaller packages, less quantity.
-Huge logistics problems - I had my package delivered to somebody else in my area. When I contacted the support, they gave me directions to go and recover my package and my food from somebody else’s house? - Obviously, it was impossible to track down. The support received was completely hopeless, rude and inefficient both from HelloFresh and Gordon Delivery’s side. When I spoke with support about a solution, they refused to send another package (with food that I choose in advance for meal prep), gave a refund and said “we concluded the investigation”. After a lot of fighting, they gave me a 40 DKK voucher that I could not apply to my account in the end.
Personally, I would look elsewhere. They had a great service and a nice idea in the beginning. I recommended them vastly in my office, and I will make sure to inform everybody I referred about the kind of service they provide.
UPDATE (17/10): A HelloFresh representative asked me to reach out to a support email to “help us” with this case. After numerous emails, it has been 2 weeks without any reply from hej/info or social.hellofresh emails. Totally ignored as a customer. You can definitely see the kind of service they provide!

If I can give it a zero I would. I signed up because I got a code for a free trial. However, I wasn't able to put in the code until I have put in my payment information.
Then it automatically created an order and I couldn't cancel it! I immediately cancel the subscription (sign up to cancel took less than 5 minutes).
Tried to call customer service and it was closed. There's no email address where you can you to. I had to wait until today to chat with them and fortunately they were able to cancel it because it's within the deadline. I guess I should be happy that I made this mistake during a weekend.
They said when I sign up the first box is ordered automatically and I am supposed to buy it?! What kind of term is that?
Buyer beware.
Update: Got a canned reply. They don't even bother looking at the issue - the issue I had was after signing up I had no way to cancel the delivery. Basically, you are forced to buy the first box after you sign up unless you chat with the customer service (I only use chat to keep a paper trail) as soon as possible.

I had high hopes when I decided to try HelloFresh, but my experience has been far from satisfactory, leading me to give it only 2 stars. The app design is not user-friendly and navigating through it is a confusing ordeal. I found it difficult to manage my orders and cancel recurrent extra items that I only wanted to try once, but the app seemed to have a mind of its own, delivering me food I didn’t ask for.
To make matters worse, the customer service was extremely unhelpful. I contacted them to remove an unwanted order five days before the delivery date, but they flatly refused. This lack of flexibility and understanding from the customer care team was very disappointing. We follow a pescatarian diet, and receiving unwanted items meant we had no choice but to throw them away, which felt like a complete waste.
The overall experience has been frustrating, with the app causing more problems than solutions and the customer service being of no help. I expected a smooth and convenient service from such a well-known company, but instead, I was left dealing with unwanted deliveries and an uncooperative customer care team. I hope HelloFresh takes customer feedback seriously and makes necessary improvements to their app and customer service. Until then, I cannot recommend their service.

My danish girlfriend ordered from hello fresh pack, missing ingridients like eggs,2 potatoes to feed 2 people is absolutely absurd, never ever again order from website , really disapointed , for needed ingridients i have used extra 30 min go for shoping and spend extra money on that what supose to be in pack😊

Got the wrong items delivered, contacted customer service and all the solution I got was that there is nothing to be done. I specifically choose the meals with my boyfriend (even added 1 extra which is not topical for my subscription plan) but ended up receiving 4 other completely random meals. Therefore I am now stuck with 4 meals I cannot/won’t eat and Hello Fresh would do nothing about it as in their system everything looks fine.

The recipes are nice and so are the ingredients most of the time. But sometimes something is missing, like a the ginger or the carrot is tiny. It isn't too bad as I have some ingredients of my own I can use.

I have attempted delivery twice now, and unfortunately, there have been some challenges. During the first delivery attempt, I was told that the address couldn't be located. Interestingly, the delivery courier was reportedly just outside, and they mentioned not having the package to deliver. Consequently, they informed me that the delivery would need to be rescheduled for the following week. I accommodated this change, but regrettably, the rescheduled delivery did not happen rarther the same box was delivered 3 days later. Additionally, the product that was intended to be delivered on Monday was no longer as fresh now being thursday, which was disappointing and somewhat wasteful.
For the second attempt, I was informed that the delivery had taken place, but in reality, the package was not received. I must commend the phone customer service team for their prompt and courteous assistance. They genuinely tried to resolve the issues at hand. However, it seems that there might be a disconnect in the control over the final leg of the delivery process. From a customer's standpoint, this aspect does raise questions about the overall use
