I like the food choices and that the recipes are tasty. I am however not happy that I am often missing ingredients or that some vegetables are not fresh. Especially when it's a main ingredient.

If there was a 0 star I would have given it.
1st delivery cancelled while standing outside and looking at the driver drive past me. Receive nice warm meat the next day because my package has not been stored in a refrigeration unit so that was a loss. Waited a week for second delivery to have the exact same thing happen. Watch the delivery company drive past with my food while cancelling my delivery for no reason. I am now expected after talking to support to just wait and accept the food and report it while paying for it. I have seen better service with more common sense used by companies in 3rd world countries in Africa.

I received a discount code and wanted to familiarize myself with the website. They ask for credit card when you create an account which is a bit weird since I haven't ordered anything yet but went with it assuming that this is a legit website. But i was surprised that they tried to charge me 3 times over time and I have never completed the order.
I have canceled the subscription that was created on my behalf without my confirmation, and still they were trying to charge me again, this is definetly a SCAM
I would advise people to stay away from this website

As I have been traveling a lot for work I had been pausing my account for a while now, and unfortunately this week got caught with work and did not realise until Thursday evening that the account unpaused the day before, money was taken out and the box would be sent. Tried to find a way to solve it. Cancelled my account in the hopes it would also cancel the delivery, but no go.
Took me forever to find a way to contact customer service as the bot just spins you around with questions and at most gives you their opening hours and not their contact info. Tried to let them know the issue through the cancelation form, but aparently no one checks those.
Today I called them explaining the situation that I am not home and there is no one to get the delivery, and that while checking I saw that their deadlines are there to avoid food waste, but it would be food waste at this point if it gets sent. The response was uncaring, clear and kinda condescending; the box will get delivered next Tuesday no matter what, for them it is food waste either way as even though it is one day over the deadline for modifications and that I need to talk with neighbours or something to get it cause they cannot just stop it and refund as they have already paid for groceries, and it is my problem not theirs.
The boxes were okeish in the past, not overtly fresh necessarily, but interesting ingredients and convinient. Honestly probably would have continued with them once I was back, even with the small issues I had experienced like the odd small ingredient missing or the discounts just not applying fully, but seeing the way their website is built to be useless in the case there actully is an issue, and customer service also being unhelpful, I think I am gonna not return as a client and also advise people to try different suscriptions out there as there are definitely better ones.

Absolutely terrible company and service.
Their name is Hello FRESH and my meat has been expired for 3 weeks in a row. No one is doing any quality control on the meals and boxes that go out for delivery. How can you call yourselves HelloFresh and supply off meat. Do no waste your time with their meals.

Mediocre food, garbage customer experience. Can’t change anything about order despite calling days in advance. Specifically requesting address change (on account of moving to address in same city), and was basically told there wasn’t nothing they could do. Unhelpful and unempowered customer service rep. Canceled account.
Re: the response below, nice copy/paste job. I am requesting to change ONLY the delivery address, not the content of the order.
To anyone reading this review, this copy and paste answer is a great example of Hello Fresh. Inhuman, disconnected, and unhelpful.

used to be extremelly good, now there was a price increase, portions got smaller, always missing an item, the vegetables are most of the times rotten or extremelly small.

Stay away from these amateurs and scammers. You will be charged despite not placing any orders. And you won't be able to cancel whatever they decide to charge you for. And, of course, good luck getting in touch with their support.

19.06.23 - Update: Eventually, after my post on Trustpilot, HelloFresh delivered on the advertised promise.
A friend told me about HelloFresh and gave me a link, supposedly for a free one time meal delivery, to try it out as a new customer.
It was a nightmare experience. I chose the meals and I was supposed to receive the food on the 30th of May 2023. The order was confirmed. Got the email. Many hours later, on the same day, I received an email that, among other things said, "Vi bekræfter hermed, at dit abonnement hos HelloFresh er afsluttet - måske en sidste måltidskasse er på vej til dig.". I did NOT cancel my subscription and I checked if the delivery was still on, but no, that was cancelled to.
Apparently HelloFresh believes that it makes sense to send a subscription cancellation email to people who did not ask for a cancellation to begin with. HelloFresh itself canceled my subscription.
The following day I called customer service to try to understand what's happening and I was told that the promotional campaign is only for first customers. Told him that I am a first customers. He said that they cancelled the subscription because an order was previously delivered to my address at some point in the past. I told him that may have happened before October 2022 when I moved in here as a tenant and that it doesn't make sense for me to be unable to use the promotional campaign for that reason. I am a new customer, and, as he said, it is for new customers, not for new addresses. I even said that I could send my rental contract to HelloFresh as proof for it. Didn't help.
The only "solution" I got from him was that I order again with a different address than my own. I was and am shocked to hear that because it shows a bit of the values that HelloFresh promotes: lying/not telling the truth - and it asks it's customers to behave in such a manner. That was shameful. Then image people really doing that, or if I did that with my neighbor's address, for example, and then if my neighbor (or whatever other tenant would ever live at that address in the future) then they would have the same problem I had now. Who knows, maybe that's what happened to my address in the first place, maybe as a helpful "suggestion" from HelloFresh to some other client.
The customer relationship employee presented himself as Damon.
I did send a reply to the cancellation email, explaining the situation but I did not receive anything so far.

- personally I do not like the user experience - poor UX
- contacting HelloFresh in written form - ex. via email (but not as a reply), seems very complicated
Will soon start looking into my legal options for all the time they made me waste and for the way they treated me.
