I am currently in a dispute with HellSpin Casino regarding a withdrawal, and I want to share my experience for transparency.
I deposited and played using my own funds. I did accept a welcome bonus initially, but I completed a substantial amount of wagering, and my bonus balance was reduced to $0 before the gameplay where the winnings occurred.
After this, I continued playing normally and used feature buys (which were fully available and not restricted in any way within the game). During this period, I achieved significant winnings.
When attempting to withdraw, my winnings were confiscated. The casino claims this is due to exceeding the maximum bet rule while a bonus was active.
However:
• My bonus balance showed $0 at the time
• There was no visible indication that any bonus was still active
• The feature buy option was not blocked or limited
• No warning was provided that using this feature would breach any rule
From a player’s perspective, this creates a misleading situation where it appears you are playing with real funds, while backend restrictions are still being applied without clear communication.
I have since raised this with a third-party dispute service, and the casino has now stated their decision is “final,” without providing sufficient transparency around how the bonus was still considered active.
This experience raises serious concerns about how rules are applied and whether players are being given a fair and clear opportunity to comply with them.
I would strongly advise others to exercise caution, especially when using bonuses, as the system may allow actions that later result in confiscated winnings without clear

Today I signed up to the Hellspin Casino from Australia. Online casinos are banned here, so it was a dumb idea to start with, but the reviews on reddit seemed to be good.
I had a lucky win after a second small deposit ($150 with $75 in bonus). I tried to withdraw $1500 and I had around another $2000 left in the account.
After a few hours I received an email to say I breached the ts and cs and they had taken the winnings back. The reason was due to the stake being too high (I purchased a feature for $50). I can’t find anywhere in the terms how the $8aud max is the total for the purchase of the feature (you can’t even buy them that cheap).
Definitely a predatory practice. I deposited with a sign up bonus and used it in the same way, that lost and there were no issues. Miraculously manage to withdraw from the second deposit after completing the 40x turnover and the KYC with no issues.
If it wasn’t this, I’m sure they would have found something else. Others have said they’ve had issues with them, so I would recommend steering clear of Hellspin.
Edit: Others have suggested on the Reddit posts that these sites are the middle man for the sites that make the games (not sure if accurate). If this is the case smaller sites like Hellspin would certainly be enticed to find any reason to forfeit your winnings.
