Poor service ? More like no service at all.

Unable to watch anything -due to constant buffering and most times, the episodes /movies do not even start after the ad. Funny enough, the ads are always ok to play. I complained on their website a few weeks back - but have yet to get a response. If you can avoid it -do not sign up; all you do is feed their pocket -for nothing or very little in return.

Disney with adds

Great service when you find something to watch but unfortunately it has become a money grabbing company who wants your money and make your viewing inconvenient through adds.

I had a fraud charge for Disney plus on…

I had a fraud charge for Disney plus on my credit card. I called in July 2024 and was given a reference number and told that i would receive my refund of $21.31 in 3-5 business days. Never received it and had another charge on my credit card today. Called them again and gave them the reference number and they tell me they can't find it. Sat on hold for 45 minutes before they hung up on me. OH and the girl told me to take it up with the bank.

Unbelievably poor service, time and time again

I bought the eurosport subscription to watch the olympics and biathlon world cup. The were so many technical issues when trying to sign back upto the service (I had a subscription a couple of years ago for one year). I spent so long on live chats to try and fix the issue, went round and round, following lots of different steps repeatedly. After an hour I finally got the subscription sorted.
Two weeks after using the service to watch some of the olympics, I logged off, then couldnt get back on as it wouldnt accept my password. Then it said I needed a subscription (which I already had - money came out of the account). Again back to live chat, they wanted screen shots, information etc, took nearly 40mins of the representative trying different ways to search for my account. In the end I couldnt find the payment email, and I couldnt send a screen shot of the payment coming out of the account, so they told me I have to take it up with my bank to cancel the payment and get a refund.

They are basically making me do all the work, they dont have a system where they can easily find my details, but they can easily take my money.

What a terrible service. Unfortunately for me, they hold the rights to the sport that I want to watch, so can only watch through them. it might be worth flying directly to the places that hold the event rather than trying to sign up to this terrible service to get access to the event.

Technical issue

We were having a technical issue. The agent was less than helpful and unwilling to trust that the issue was occurring at all. Sure not the kind of caring service one would expect from Uncle Walt's company. The agent was unwilling to disconnect from the call so I could provide feedback on his service, so I decided to go here instead.

You can't stream ANYTHING on Disney +

You can't stream ANYTHING on Disney +. As soon as a commercial starts, it all freezes up. Don't waste your money on this P.O.S.. They tell you to exit out of Disney+ completely and go back in, guess what, that don't work. The best fix is to not subscribe at all.

If I could write a negative star I…

If I could write a negative star I would. Other than incredible rude “manager” Chris. I was charged a total of 4 times. Twice for $167 and twice of $13 for a service that was supposed to be canceled and refunded. I contacted support three times and was consistency charged instead of receiving a refund. I sent them the bank statements and they refused to refund.

Not good

Firstly it's difficult to find out how to cancel through Sky, they said even though I subscribed through them, I would have to contact Disney+ to cancel.
Bit of a nightmare and I can't imagine subscribing again in the future.
The cs person I spoke with although lovely, a little hard to understand.

Disney - check your bill

Disney+ has been double billing me for 7 months. I called and of course was outsourced to a foreign country customer service rep who told me I had to contact Roku for a refund. Roku rep told me they are just the middle man and referred me back to Disney. After 30 minutes, several repeats because apparently he couldn’t understand the problem, the rep said he had refunded me 2 months when I asked about the other 5 months they stole money from me, he said they can only go back 4 months. I asked why he hadn’t credited me for 2 more months since he knew he could go back 4 months and he had no answer. The following month I was double billed again! I called back and after another 40 minute phone call was credited back that month’s bill. I’ve cancelled my service and would recommend checking your bill because Disney isn’t really “ the Happiest Place on Earth”

The streaming service sucks!

The streaming service sucks!! After every 20-30 minutes, there is an Ad break, and a video freezes there. We had to restart the app, choose the show, and forward the video where it was stuck every time. This is more of a punishment than an entertainment! On top of that, the content is old and very limited. It is simply a waste of time and energy. I will be canceling the service soon.

Wouldn’t even give one star

Wouldn’t even give one star. Disgusting customer service. Can not talk to anyone. I accidentally subscribed annually rather than monthly after having a break for a few months and within my 14 day cooling off period asked them to change to monthly instead as I like to be able to cancel if I can but was told this was not doable asi had used it, they agreed with me that it was wrong I couldn’t change but no one could help. They also make it impossible to make a complaint on their site

Disney+ is not worth it at all
We are haveing a problem with Disney+
Somthing went wrong it says all the time when playing a movie or cartoon
and all they could do was run a ip reset and then get me to do some test and in the middle of the test the guy suddenly disconnected me due to his workday was over so i had to get incontact with a new person who had to get the whole story over again.... all this took 1 hour such a waste of time and not only that im still waiting for infomation about the same problem about 2 months ago and still no help to be gained i even got told i will send this to the exsperts an then once the stuff have been fixed we wont contact you all you can do is keep trying to see if its been fixed..... but come on they had over 2 months now to try an fix it..... All in all STAY AWAY from disney+ they steal your money an you get a produkt you cant use for anything

I cannot speak highly enough of the…

I cannot speak highly enough of the customer service I received. I was avoiding contacting customer service and try to resolve the issue myself because of how frustrating customer service processes can be - my only regret was not contacting them sooner.

Polen G helped me resolve my subscription issue easily and efficiently.

Disneyplus is a scam

I bought a 3 month subscription giftcard in local store, went on Disneyplus.epay site, entered required data and ...no go. Contacted customer service, they blaim it on Epay and tell me to contact them. I do that and get re-directed back to Disney support. Contact them again and again it is a problem on Epay´side. I have explained support employee several times that I have already done that. No help. I how can I contact someone who could actually help me. Employee gives me two e-mails: first-no reply after 3 days and counting, second (right one as confirmed by third employee)-my mail gets blocked. A Catch 22: adress that could help me is blocking my mail.

I call Epay second time, again they can not help me and re-direct me back to Disney support. This time I call, explain my issue for the x-time, again it is Epay. I ask Disney employee who am I suppose to contact at Epay. Got a telephone number, called it and wouldn´t you know it is an unknown number.

I call Disney again and this time I got Miss Eleni. She is what customer support is supposed to be. Professional, helpful and knows what she is doing. If I got her first time I contacted Disney I would rate it with 5 stars. Just because of her I was considering giving it 2 stars.

Just to show how little Disney cares about it customers, my issue, according to support employee, happens quite often. I believe that because when I called Epay, both employees knew Disney support email and telephone number from memory.

At first I just wanted to get a refund, because I refuse to support such a incompetent company as Disney is. But I decided I would rather have my 3 month subscription, because imagine the trouble getting your money back if it takes almost a week to be able to use service that I already payed for.

To Eleni: Thank you again. To Disney: Great job losing a customer before even becoming one. To other providers: I got money and I am willing to spend it.
