Helpinone scammer
Helpinone is a very sophisticated scam.
I still have no idea how they got me to agree to their subscription. The bank informed me that I probably was scammed through a verification for something but as the payment showed up 10 days after they registered me, I had no idea exactly which internet page I had clicked on. I don’t use streaming platforms other than Netflix. Anyway, BEWARE, raise a dispute on the transaction and you may get your £40.56 back.
This is a scam
This is a scam. Noticed £40.56 was pending from my bank account. I’d never heard of this company. I called the number left on TP from another reviewer. The phone was answered quickly, they said I had subscribed, I explained that was not the case and they immediately said they’d cancel the subscription and pending transaction. This was done in literally 2 minutes. Clearly they are aware of what they are doing but hoping many don’t pick up on it - scary.
Just had this issue this morning
Just had this issue this morning, £40.56 taken out of bank account, I rang helpline (0800 0418781), was advised that I had signed up a few days earlier, not sure how?, however assistant was vey helpful and took my email address and cancelled subscription and stated I would get a full refund, this appeared in my account 30 mins later
SCAM TRY TO TAKE MONEY FROM YOU BANK…
SCAM TRY TO TAKE MONEY FROM YOU BANK WITHOUT EVEN KNOINH WHO THEY ARE NOT EVEN A 1 STAR
Scam company - beware!
I had never heard of this company yet they somehow managed to take £40.56 from my account twice. They are clearly committing fraud as can be seen from the similar experiences of numerous people. My concern is also with my bank who allowed these transactions to take place whereas other banks seem to be aware that this company is scamming people. Do banks not speak to one another and share information about scam companies?
£40.56 stolen from my bank account too
Exactly the same happened to me at 1.41am this morning , £40.56 was taken from my account: I have never heard of them let alone signed up. My bank claim it was an Apple Pay transaction but the at makes no sense as I did not make the payment. My card has been cancelled and after reading on here that some people even had their new card charged, I wil not get a new one used until this is resolved

Scam alert, they have somehow managed to charge £40.56 via apple pay on two consecutive months. Apparently as its a subscription we can not claim the money back and have had to cancel the card to stop another payment being taken

My experience is this scamming system tried but didn't succeed to take £40.56 twice lol, I didn't have the funds to make the payment and that's the only reason they never succeed... I downloaded a spy cam app online and they asked me to verify my credit card details which then they would withdraw 0pence to prove my identification....anyway please be aware of these horrible disgusting nasty peices of shit who want to take you to the cleaners...
SCAM Whilst on holiday abroad this company…
Whilst on holiday abroad this company took £30.42 from my bank. Halifax wouldn't help me! Emails to this scam company said I'd subscribed but I know I hadn't and wouldn't but would not be receiving a refund and they closed my 'account' THEN I finally spoke to someone there, they asked for my email and said refund was on way back!!!
