The products I received were very low quality and did not match how they were advertised. I later found identical items on AliExpress for under £10 in total, despite paying a much higher price.

The return process raised further concerns. Returns are sent to Switzerland at high cost, and the return instructions ask customers to declare a fixed value of $20 on customs forms, regardless of the actual purchase price. This made me uncomfortable, as customs declarations are required to be accurate.

Due to the number of similar complaints and the lack of trust created by these practices, I escalated the issue to my card provider instead of dealing directly with the company. I strongly recommend researching carefully before purchasing. Foolishly I didn’t.

I purchased a strap for Omega Seamaster through the website. Due to the absence of a full image of the buckle, I requested the customer support provides one of the buckle. I was sent an image of an Omega strap. Therefore, I assumed that the buckle had an Omega logo, similar to what would be purchased on Etsy.
Helvetus did not offer return labels and the cost of returning the straps is around $50 (vs. the prices of $75). They did not offer an concessions from their side either.
I do not recommend purchasing straps from Helvetus due to poor customer services and misleading marketing.

Scam site, order placed payment made, more than 2 months still not receive the parcel with unable to provide the tracking number of the shipping

After seeing mixed reviews regarding Helvetus straps I decided to purchase one and make my own judgement.
I’m glad I did as the strap meets my expectations for an 8 inch wrist and the comfort level is on point. The clasp certainly has room for improvement as it is not of the standard I have on other watches yet it does the job fine and quality improvements come from the feedback from the customers. I have 2 other watches that I will be purchasing the Helvetus fitted straps for in the coming future. Thank you Helvetus.

Night shift nurse here - needed something that doesn't pinch when I'm typing charts all night. The Helvetus black rubber on my GMT Batman is literally perfect. Soft where it touches skin, stiff where it stays put. Been wearing it 16-hour shifts for a month - zero irritation. Thank you.

STAY AWAY! Strap that arrived was CLEARLY not the strap advertised on their site and it also arrived damaged. Accused me of damaging it when I requested a refund (which they refused). They advertise photos of high end products and then send you cheap Chinese bottom of the barrel AliExpress junk.

no tracking was provided. when i asked to an update i located it and the “free” item arrived damaged. customer service as seen in other reviews is poor. told it was my fault or due from transport and since it was free that i’m stuck with it.

As a reference, I have been collecting watches for more than 15 years and I've experinced many straps brands, the quality of Helvetus straps is just bad for the price you paid. The pins are fragile, the material does not worth beyond $20, the deployment clasp is generic one that you can get from Amazon for $15. In summary save your money or with additional $20 or $40 go for a much better quality strap from other brands such as Delugs or Watchgecko.

I ordered the Helvetus strap because it was advertised as a high-quality Swiss product. What I received is the opposite: the packaging clearly states it is made in China, and the strap itself feels like very cheap rubber – nothing like the premium caoutchouc straps available on the market. There is no “Helvetus” branding, no “Made in Switzerland,” nothing. The real value of this item is around 1 USD, without exaggeration.

I paid almost 100 EUR, and I am extremely disappointed. This seller is misleading customers with false advertising. Do not fall for it!

This is a scam. The strap is the lowest quality, clearly from China as shown on the label, and they falsely advertise it as high-quality. They also blocked me on Instagram when I asked for a refund.

PLEASE PLEASE Don't buy from this company. They are absolute thieves. They make out like your receiving a quality product, charge you for an expensive strap then send a totally substandard product. Something imported from China worth about 10pence max!! Then you have to return at your own cost, you are told a refund has been made when it HASN'T led a merry dance from months & months and don't ever receive your money back . Disgusting fake company. Please AVOID!!

This seller only drop-shipped inferior product from China but charged ten times the amount. Although I returned the product, they did not acknowledge the receipt and put up all kinds of excuses that they had issued a refund which never happened. Fortunately I kept the tracking record of the return and the emails that they admitted the receipt. It still took three months to have my case resolved with the credit card company and of course I still lose money on the shipping costs. In short, Helvetus is a scam and customers should never buy from them. Shopify should delist this seller which has no honesty and integrity.

Chinese dropshopping - plastic straps send directly from China.
And when you return then no refund - they just keep feeding you bad excuses and bullshit.

Best strap I ever bought, so comfortable and durable at the same time. I love this brand the best because of the wide variety of colors they offer.

Great watch band & a great watch. Light weight and extremely comfortable. I changed out the steel band quickly and installed the Helvetus band with no issues.

I ordered a watch trap & case on august 26th, 2025 and even asking an update of my order I still don't have an estimated date to receive it. I don't even have a tracking number from the logistic company. Helvetus insists to say that parcels to Brazil take too long, without any possible solution for my case.
