Agent showed us a property and knew nothing about it; couldn't answer a single question.
Delapidated fly infested house…
Just been shown around a house in Fishbourne. £575K for a house with rooms covered in hundreds and hundreds of dead flies. Did someone die in there? The agent could not answer any of our questions. The step at the entrance was so loose it was dangerous. Ugh Delapidated Overpriced
Was taken to a property they had listed…
Was taken to a property they had listed as available and was told the next Monday that they have an existing person renting through them and that she had priority over anyone else to have that property which I found disgusting customer service then offerd me her old flat she was moving out off. Terrible customer service along which that the agent didn’t have a clue about the property anyway

They are helpful
They are helpful, friendly. But when it comes to serious issues like mould, they fob it off, they quick enough to blame your ‘life style’ seems even environmental health backs them.
Yea I use a dehumidifier.
There is mould and damp in every rooms, black bugs on walls and woodlice in bedroom. Mould in the children’s bedroom and damp carpet.
My children are ill on n off. I’m having to clean this off so often, i know this is effecting our health. But it gets brushed off. There is some work going to be done, like putting mould paint on walls soon. The landlord for this property puts the rent up every year, whilst all this black mould and wet, just be cautious when viewing properties. When we moved in u start to notice the damp, there was even leaks, but this has been fixed. There is old condensation dried on the window, and rotten wood which was like then we moved in, yet they shift the blame on us. I thought the deaths of other children in the uk was awake up call. Apparently not! Going to have to go further then environment health.
Be cautious.

Alex at Storrington Branch - Fabulous!
I found Alex Bush of the Storrington branch to be most helpful and genuine. I think he was as excited about my fresh start as I was! On the same day he discussed the applications with the landlord, I found out within hours of the decision that I had been picked. They were also very accommodating when I asked to move forward my moving date by a couple of days. The only negative feedback I have is that I received no communication regarding the status of my application when Alex was on leave. I also found it quite difficult to get through to the Lettings team, although I understand they may well have been out doing viewings at the time.

Prospective sellers, should Avoid at all costs !
As a prospective Buyer I contacted via email Henry Adams regarding a property in Cambridge Ave, West Wittering, Chichester.
I received a response from someone named Jane, who had 0 customer care skills!
I politely asked if I could have a virtual viewing, I explained I was currently in the US, having sold my UK property 9 months previously, therefore a Cash Buyer able to proceed immediately without a Mortgage.
The employee Jane rudely responded with a No, we don’t do virtual viewings.
It’s a fairly normal practice with other agents, and a really straight forward procedure.
Since the property had been on the market sometime, others in same area selling fairly quickly, I asked Jane if there had been any offers?
Her response was they would NOT accept offers unless I viewed the property.
Many people relocate around the globe, it’s not a legal requirement to personally view a prospective property, therefore I’m unclear why as a British Citizen, with cash Funds from the sale of my UK property, I was told should I want to make an offer it would be unacceptable??
I asked some usual questions about the boiler’s age etc, the reply was also belligerent lacking in finesse, not to mention ignorant.
It appears Henry Adams feel they are doing everyone a favour, including the prospective Buyer.
The employee Jane had 0’proactive skills, did she offer to try a find the property information I requested? No.
After numerous other emails from myself trying to facilitate a virtual viewing from Henry Adams, I was told Manager had finally agreed to a send me a pre recorded viewing.
One that I would be unable to interact with, or indeed ask questions.
I Never received this video.
Suffice to say the property is still for Sale?
I was also told by the same Henry Adams employee, whilst the rest of the UK property market is in a slump, Henry Adams have a thriving property market.
Clearly Henry Adams of Chichester are arrogant and delusional.
My advice is stay Clear if you are thinking of marketing your property with this Company.

Never again
Never ever would I deal with this company again. Their unprofessional and completely uncaring attitude throughout my dealings with them has left a very bitter taste. I have never dealt with such difficult agents who have showed not one iota of decent customer service. I am just so saddened and disappointed. Middleton on Sea Henry Adams team changed my view of estate agents! From the outset they were efficient and kind. Through to the post sale they never stopped being supportive. I say team, because all of them were on the sale. Not once did I ring up and get passed off because the main contact was unavailable. They all took interest and worked together from start to finish. Even post completion they continued to help! A great an positive experience...and a quick sale!
